You’re Only Wrong About One Thing, My Friend

LC & IB Mike Hendrix has a most excellent post up that is your required reading for the day.

Only one mistake in it that we can find, and it’s one that we see all too often:

For them [the Democrat National Socialists -- Emp.M.], government is the repository of all that is righteous and just and morally upright, and the gulags and killing fields simply never enter their empty heads — because, hey, this time, it will be diff’runt. Just like every other time.

Oh, the gulags, killing fields and concentration camps do enter their heads, because it’s part of their history. The reason they don’t like to talk about them isn’t that they’re ashamed, because they’re absolutely not and thinking so is a huge tactical mistake because it implies the assumption that they have any morals at all, it’s because talking about them is unhelpful to their Glorious Cause™.

Believe you me, brother: The moment they, G-d forbid, are in control, they will not hesitate one nano-second in opening the valves and letting the Zyklon B flow if they think for a second that it will help them get their way.

It’s just that they’re not yet at the stage where they can talk about that. And if they do reach that stage, there’ll be no reason to talk about it at all because it will be too late.

Never underestimate your enemy. It is a basic rule, one of the most basic ones. Assuming that socialists have any shame, moral or ethics at all is not only a mistake, it’s a huge one. And it may be the last one we get to make as a free nation.

    And remember, Bill Ayers (the writer of Obama’s books) recommended re-education camps in the Southwest.

    Including killing fields.

    No surprise to me. Being of an elder generation, I was raised in the Cold War, and had the horrors
    of the Nazis, and the Second World War pounded into me by my elders.

    Coincidentally, just today I was thinking about how the Anti-American socialist shits that pule and whine about
    American casualties in a just and necessary war against Terrorism, would not mind in the least killing millions
    of Americans in this Country to maintain their power.

    No need to stockpile it, Deej. It’s easily made and can be thrown together in no time, especially with all of our chemical and petroleum-refining plants converted over and running on solar and wind power.

    You think Hitler, Mao, Lenin and the rest of their brethren around the world took over power by running on campaigns that expressly touted their upcoming mass slaughter or innocents? Nope. They ran on “Workers of the World… UNITE!” campaigns, playing on the standardized unionization message of “We’re going to get what’s RIGHTFULLY OURS!” and “It’s For Teh Chillllren!™”

    (Or, “Workers of the World… UNTIE!” that was used during the failed Dyslexian uprising that unraveled hilariously when the revolutionaries all tripped on their bootlaces as they tried to storm the capitol building, impaling themselves on their bayonets. It’s just too bad that there were no cameras rolling around back then. The footage would have been comedic gold.)

    I’m reminded of the video of the undercover guy who talked, in shocked tones, about how all these self-styled intellectuals, the Weather Underground types, all with advanced degrees, sat around talking quite matter-of-factly about how it would be “necessary” to put the stiffnecked American patriots into concentration camps, and probably kill as many as 25 million of us.
