Buyers Remorse?

Here we are with the Chicago Cocksucker™ accusing Romney of 2 or maybe 3 felonies and what has been his response? Nada. He’s still on the high road playing nicey-nice with his rubber knife whilst the other side is using high-caliber automatic weapons. As much as most of us have decided Mittens has a bit of a good side he’s still the same old milquetoast. In spite of knowing that most of the poll numbers are skewed into irrelevance, the ones that are reasonable still show Ogabe leading. WTF? We like to assume that the majority of thinking citizens are awake this time around and we’ll kick the Socialist Shitbag™ back to swap spit with Rahm in Chi-town but nazzo fast Guido. We’re up against at least three large groups here that no matter what are going to pull for Team ‘O’. We have the far-left loon faithful types, the black monolith and most importantly, the roughly 1/3 of the country that’s at the government trough, snorting other people’s money as fast as they can. Entitlements, welfare, funemployment and the ultimate solution, permanent government disability, which is growing dramatically. We have the largest population in history receiving some sort of federal benefit and human nature tells us that people will always vote for bread and circuses, especially if someone else ultimately foots the bill.

The attack ads intent on character assassination will have their effect. That bread and circuses crowd has a demonstrable short attention-span and utter horseshit like Septic Joe will stick in their heads. What of our sides response so far? Nuttin. The utter dishonesty, deceitfulness and just plain sleaze should evoke a vicious retort. Some of that shit would get you a punch in the jaw on the street, so why can’t the Party of Stoopid find a single scrotal hair to punch back, harder.

Simple answer, it’s fucking Romney. If he hasn’t decided to fight by now, he’ll never fight. Some folks are hoping the Veep pick will be an attack dog for him, but really people. When they keep mentioning Rob Portwho? as a running mate, it’s over. Romney above all, is a careful, calculating business executive, that type is not known for making the snap decisions needed to keep on the offensive in this campaign. Isn’t it stupid to think that Mittens is going to pick someone completely opposite of his own personality? The needed storm-trooper to nail these cocksuckers each and every time they pull this shit. Not a chance.

We cannot count on anyone at the national or even state level to go on the offensive. This one is up to us alone. We must get our networks going, take notes, grab video and audio clips and start a massive circulation going. There’s no good reason why the Septic Ad can’t be edited with the actual truth, google-bombed and pushed into going viral. This might be our last chance to use the internet free of interference.

We have everything factual needed to destroy this administration, so why are even the somewhat honest polling numbers not telling the story they should?

This is buyer’s remorse, plain and simple for the establishment. We got another McCain shoved up our asses. We’ve been faithful in trying to rally behind our forced candidate, but the fuck won’t even come out of the dugout to go to bat against these turds. If we were wrong about Mittens, he should have at least a 15-point lead in the polls 90-days out of election day.

Just remember, as distasteful as it is, negative campaigning is effective. It’s damn well time for us get on that wagon.

Let’s not fuck it up. As Misha said earlier, Nov. 6 is the last peaceful box we have to use.

Still not sure how I’m going to manage to vote for Romney without puking all over the voting booth as I do so. Everybody keeps saying get behind him because Obama’s got to go. Fine, I agree Obama must go and never should have been elected in the first place, but I don’t see Romney as a whole lot better. He might repeal Obamacare, maybe, but I’m sick and damn tired of voting for the insiders’ candidate just so the democrat hopefully loses and feeling like really what I’m voting for is democrat light. We keep talking about Romney and the RINO insiders not fighting or standing up for the things we believe in, but I’m starting to think we unintentionally teach them they don’t have to when we consistently fall in line behind whoever they feed us because we know that the democrat’s worse by our standards and he’ll do socialism faster. I don’t see how we conservatives are going to take power in the party if we keep doing what they expect us to do. We’re going to need a whole lot of the likes of Ted Cruz…A Whole Lot.

That would be un-Presidential. Think about it. These attacks are not coming from Obama- they’re coming from his surrogates. You fight fire with fire- surrogates must combat this bullshit. If Romney complains, he’ll be called a whiner. He will be stooping to the level of Obama’s minions. He must stay above the minions and ACT presidential. So far, he has deftly handled everything thrown at him and this kitchen sink is exploding in their faces.

It is the job of the VP, really to co-ordinate attacks, once the Olympics are over the ball will really get rolling when he makes his pick. My bet is on someone from Ohio as that is THE state that he absolutely must win.

Unless, of course, he wins Illinois. Think I’m kidding?

Governor Quinn won election to a full term in a very close race, beating Senator Brady by only about 32,000 votes, despite Brady winning in 98 of 102 Illinois counties.

What said surrogates must do is make short, sharp shots in their 30 second time slots that say “here’s the accusation, here’s the truth”. Zip. Bang. Next one, “Here’s the truth, here’s the proof”. Rinse, repeat. :em08:

Romney is legally handcuffed from spending more money until he is actually nominated. He spent the maximum allowed in the primaries. The Dems know this, ergo the flap starts now.

If you want to FIGHT, the best way to do this before the convention is by the Super-Pacs. They are not limited by funds like the Romney campaign. Two good ones are Dick Armeys Freedom Works, and Karl Roves CrossRoads GPS.

    LC Xealot growls and barks:

It’s pretty simple. Romney was chosen, if that word is even suitable, to lose. He is weak in his standings with us, the Conservative and/or Libertarian Right… The moderates are likely to be fooled by the Obama campaign, since Romney is weak-willed and won’t fight back, and the Dems aren’t going to cross the aisle, obviously. The only reason he won the nomination to begin with is because our party, if it can be called such, has been at war with itself. The establishment Republicans have been at war with their own base. The “country club” Republicans won’t vote for a Tea Party candidate… and so this is what we get.

Romney is and always has been weak in all sectors of potential support. He will lose to Obama, barring divine intervention. That’s not me being defeatist, it’s just the reality of the situation. People ARE disaffected with Obama, but only a strong candidate willing to beat the public over the head with the facts could possibly make use of that. Romney is not that man.

That said, I’ll reluctantly pull the lever for Romney. More as a matter of duty than any particular desire to do so.

  13. 13
    BigDogg growls and barks:

Couple of things that may explain Mitt’s current “light touch” approach:

    - May be waiting until after the convention; and/or
    - May be waiting until last 6-8 weeks to pour it on, because most of the “swingable” voters have short memories and won’t be paying attention until then; and (possibly, but not likely)
    - May have an October surprise (Zero’s Columbia records and fraud therefrom, Sheriff Joe’s investigation, etc.).

Romney wants this damn office – bad. He’s spent a good portion of his personal money to buy his way into the nomination after two primaries. McCain was just a media whore who was given his turn before he kicked the bucket … he wanted to be liked by the media and everybody, so he wouldn’t do anything controversial. I think (and hope) that Romney has more fight in him than that.

That said, Romney is still a shit sandwich. He only represents a detour on this Nation’s highway to hell. It’s going to be up to conservatives to be relentless, election after election, to make that detour a 180.

    L.O.R. Ankle biter says:

but I don’t see Romney as a whole lot better.

I don’t either, but that’s missing the point, as I alluded to in my earlier post. And I have been just as guilty of missing the point in the past. This election isn’t about turning the country around, although it would be a nice bonus. It’s about plugging the leak while we pull the rug out from under the Gentry GOP’s paws.

In the past a huge portion of American conservatives, myself included, made the mistake of thinking of the presidential ticket as the real battle, that if we just got the R in the White House, our work was done. Then, somewhere along the way under the Dubya administration and his “compassionate conservaclusterfuck”, we started realizing that if we were to change the GOP instead of replacing it (the latter option meaning several election cycles in the wilderness with no influence, watching the country we were hoping to save die, as building a new party is by no means easy), we had to change it from the bottom up.

And thus the Tea Party was born and RINOs started getting fired all over the place. 2010 is often referred to as a “shellacking” of the Democrat National Socialists, and it was, but it was also a bitch slap to the Gentry GOP as they saw a number of their parasite ilk summarily fired. Without that realization and the Tea Party revolution, we wouldn’t have future hopes like Rubio, West, Jindal et al.

That was our problem in the past: We only saw the Big Prize, the White House. We never realized just how truly fucked up the GOP had become, that there was no hope to be had from the rank and file of GOP Country Club RINOs.

    We do now.

And the momentum is building! This year has seen even more victories in our fight to replace the foundation of the GOP, which is what we should have been doing all along. The leftists, I have to admit, understood that and spent decades patiently marching through the institutions while we either refused to see what was going on or simply didn’t care enough. Had I made it to these shores earlier, I might have been able to use my experience with leftists and their tactics to get the point across but, then again, based on my utter failure to get anything across since I got here in spite of my actual first hand experience, I probably wouldn’t have.

People hear what they want to hear, and nobody wants to hear that they’re doing it wrong and are about to be fucked up the arse as a result.

But I digress: The point is that the momentum is building. Even more Gentry GOP RINOs have been shown the door. You mention Dewhurst, who is a great example, but there is also Dick the Dick Lugar and quite a few more. How about Walker in Wisconsin? In a fucking blue state he didn’t just defeat the national socialists, he fucking curb stomped them in spite of the Ogabe Junta and the unions throwing everything including the kitchen sink at him! Yet “woe is us, we’re losing?” Seriously????

And that’s the whole idea here: Romney is not the solution to the problem, he never was and most likely never will be. Anybody here knows exactly how I feel about him, but that’s not the point. He’s just the stop gap measure we need to keep everything from going to Hades quicker than we can fix it. The SOLUTION is what we’re currently doing, which is replacing the whole hierarchy, starting from the bottom. It’s going to be hard and long slug, but what most people fail to realize is that we’re currently winning.

Yes, the GOP Gentry Fucks are still in denial, at least in public which is most likely because they don’t like to admit that they’re being rejected, but the numbers tell a different story. The Tea Party backed candidates are winning, that “irrelevant snowbilly” Palin’s endorsements tend to almost always win (there have been and will be losses too, but that hardly matters as long as the ratio is in our favor).

We’re finally getting away from our national “instant gratification” addiction where we either have to get the whole pot right now or else fuckit.

And again: I am NOT pointing fingers, because I’m as bloody guilty as everybody else. In 2000 and 2004 I was all “as long as we get Dubya across the finish line, we’ll be fine and who cares about the down ticket?” You would have thought that somebody with my experience wouldn’t have made that mistake, but I did.

I’m not going to make it again. Gloves are off, and I am going to use everything that the leftist fanatics I was once one of taught me when it comes to destroying your enemy. I read their book, and I used to play by it. Time to do so again, only this time in the defense of liberty, something that I can be proud of.

We’re winning all the battles that are important for the future. We’re laying the groundwork for not just a single election victory, that rush is transitory anyway, but for a whole series of them. For a strong foundation upon which we might build a nation that will last another two hundred and thirty six years. We need to be in control of not the figure head, but the replacement battalions, because that’s where our future leaders will come from.

We need to control the children, the youngsters, the low-level party volunteers, the local candidates and everything further on up, because that’s where the future lies.

As to Romney, he’s just the tool, the useful idiot we need to staunch the bleeding while we take over the system from the bottom up.

    That is the point.

This battle will not be won in November, but it may very well be LOST, because we can’t do all of that under another four years of national socialism.

Oh, and as to the “polls” showing the race as “neck and neck”, they can go stuff it.

Mope already brought up the Bradley Effect, which is a great part of it. The other part is the OgabeMedia deliberately feeding into the fiction. Either to avoid demoralizing their drones or, more ominously, to prepare the battleground if the election can be stolen. After all, if all of the polls showed that it was a close race, who’s going to argue if Ogabe “wins” reelection?

But they’re polls, and they’re irrelevant. The only one that matters is the one taken in the voting booths.

Example of why you shouldn’t give a flying fuck about “polls?” We’ve got one right here:

Endlessly we’re told by the “polls” that a majority of Americans support gay marriage by, depending on the “poll”, anywhere from 55% to 60%.

Yet in THIRTYFUCKINGTWO different actual votes on the issue all over the country, including some seriously “blue” areas, “gay marriage” is 0 for 32.

Am I the only one seeing some sort of pattern here? You would expect them to have at least won ONE fucking victory if every “poll” ever taken shows a majority in favor of their agenda. If you give a shit about “polls”, that is.

Walker? We like to make fun of the liberal fascists’ salty tears of frustration that he wasn’t recalled in spite of their confident predictions that it was going to happen, as well we should. Few things are more enjoyable than watching your mortal enemies crying and wailing. Yet we shouldn’t miss the point that all of their predictions were based on “polls” that showed that he WAS going to get recalled.

Dewhurst in Texas? All of the very scientific “polls” taken showed that Cruz didn’t stand a snowball’s chance in Hades.

We could go on and on. Quit fussing about the fucking “polls”, they’re worse than useless, particularly in a nation as polarized as ours is right now, where nobody wants to invite a sermon from a howling pollster by indicating support from the “perceived acceptable position.” Why bother? You’ll get the opportunity to make your real opinion known in the voting booth, so why not just give the pollster what you think they want to hear? It’s not like it matters one fuck. Not to mention that we’ve all learned, starting with “Joe the Plumber” up to but not limited to Gibson Guitars, Adelson, VanderSloot etc. what might just happen if you make it to the ruling Junta’s Enemies List.

Even if the likelihood of that happening as a result of your reply to some pollster fuck is minute, why even accept the risk? Just tell them whatever is “politically correct” at the time and then make your real opinion be known in the voting booth, which is the only place that it counts.

Just look at their “Mitt Romney killed somebody’s wife with cancer” and “somebody told something to Harry Reid about Mitt Romney not paying taxes so it must be true” tactics, followed by the Ogabe Junta denying all involvement because “somebody else” made those statements.

Months ago I observed on this site that I simply could not believe that the Republican Party was going to nominate the man who lost to the man who lost to Obama in the last election. I hoped I was wrong. I wasn’t.

My own read of Mitt Romney is that he is a considerably better man than the one we get to read about. It seems a shame that the public is too unsophisticated to allow him to make the federalism and state’s rights arguments about the difference between RomneyCare and ObamaCare, but I suppose we must work within the constraints that are imposed. The people who fear Mormons have never befriended one. I will be very comfortable with the ethical and moral character of this man if installed in the White House.

The quality of this man’s service as President will be determined in large part by the makeup of Congress during his service, should it come to pass. It is essential that the Senate be taken by a conservative majority, and that the grip on the House not be loosened. Under those circumstances, this man’s principles may be given more latitude to influence policy, even if he is no Frederick Douglass at the podium.

The cynic in me has been watching the news stories of late that have revealed that a number of polling organizations used by the main stream media actually oversample for Democrats. The pollsters will cite survey design issues and other blah blah blah, but I wonder if this is not done so as to ensure that the public anticipates a close race. The close race is the one that can be stolen.
