Man, my Chick-Fil-A sandwich sure tasted damned good today. Apparently, I’m not the only one who thought so.
This was after waiting about ten minutes. Total wait time was 28 minutes, which is actually quite a testament to the staff considering that it was twice as packed inside (I saw people eating while standing up along the wall.) I asked the lovely Amanda who took my order if it had been like this all day. With a huge grin on her face she said “All day.”
May I remind you that this is in Palm Beach County, not exactly a conservative bastion. But this is what happens when real people stand up in support of our traditional values and beliefs.
To all the lefties out there who stirred up this hornet’s nest, take a good look. You claim you want tolerance, but in reality you only want tolerance for those who agree with you. You demand not “acceptance”, but that we deny our beliefs and celebrate your perversity instead. And anyone who dares to disagree; who dares to merely speak about, let alone defend, their beliefs, are “bigots” or “racists”. Well take a good look at Chickl-Fil-A’s receipts for today.
It’s called “pushback”. Real America has had it with you.

Yanno, I have to actually thank the intolerant left fascist mafia here, because I really never truly knew how tasty Chick-fil-A’s yummy sandwiches are until those jackbooted freaks pretty much forced me to. Not that I’ve ever any reason not to go in there, it’s just that there are so many damned choices out there.
Not any longer! Thanks to the bigoted, fascist left, Chick-fil-A now has the official Imperial Endorsement and is on the top of our list!
And did we mention that their food is so very, very, very damn GOOD?

I waited 50 minutes to get our food. Worth every minute. Oh, and for the record, I SUPPORT gay marriage and voted against amendment 1 here in NC banning it.
I went there because I am tired of these whiney assed special interest groups telling me that they have to approve people’s opinions.
There is exactly one Chik-Fil-A in all of Wisconsin. Fortunately it’s just up the road a piece in Racine. I’ll have to hit it up this weekend.
It was a major topic on talk radio all day. This turned into an EVENT. Chick-Fil-A-stock? ” By the time we got to Chick-Fil-A we were half a million strong …” It could become a cultural landmark. “Dan’s Bake Sale II”. May not have the ring of “Merriam’s Corner”, but probably tastes better. So it will have to do. Sadly wwe don’t have any outlets in SoDak, or I would be there. But I did try once when I encountered then a few years ago at an airport. It is a superior chicken sandwich, with superior service and price. I don’t know what is wrong with the Cathys! Why were they thinking of opening outlets in undeserving nasty places like Boston, Rahm City, and Bloombergville, when the is not yet a place in either of the Dakotas where they would be welcomed with open arms, and mouths.
We have to settle for Wendy’s which stilol deserves a lot of credit. It seems that seveal Wendy’s francises posted signs at their places reading “Today we recommend Chick-Fil-A”. But then, Dave Thomas also used to be a Conservaive Christian Champion.
And over at Am. Thinker there was a blog post by a contributor by someone self-identifying himself as “Gay”, by supporting Chich-Fil-A, and saying he is very embarassed by the Gay Movement.
I predict that this is another of those turning points, one which will look even larger in a ffew more days.

There’s a brand-new one here in Falls Church, VA, deep in DC-occupied territory. Not a conservative location, so I didn’t expect big crowds. Got a late breakfast there at ten to Eleven this morning, and was interviewed by Salem Radio Network on my way in. “Why are you here?”
“I’m here for truth, I’m here for the First Amendment, I’m here for freedom.”
“And I’m here for some chicken.”
Went at three for a late lunch. Reasonably long line, but they said that at lunchtime it was out the door and across the parking lot.
A buddy brought about 25 sandwiches, 10 large waffle fries, and some brownies to our men’s Bible study tonight. At his Crystal City, VA location (JUST across the river from DC) there were large crowds at dinner and three hapless protesters out front.
And on the way home, stopped in to get my mom a sundae. At 9:45, just before closing, the largest crowd I’d seen all day – mostly black folks, many apparently dressed like they just got out of Wednesday night church.
Each time was a damn party. MAN, I love this country.
Going back on Friday. For my location, yeah, I think there will be some … shall we say, Demonstrative Couples. Right after I get back from the FreedomWorks Rally downtown against Obamacare. This is a Win kind of a week.
I SUPPORT THE CHICK-FIL-A BOYCOTT!! (It means the next time I can eat there, I won’t have to listen to any sniveling liberal nonsense while I’m standing in the long, long line…)

My best friend in college was a lesbian, and I’ve had gay friends. Never picked on them or were mean or anything, even though three of the gay men I know admitted to me that “gay culture” is intensely woman-hating (no surprise there). When i moved to a new city I shared an apartment with a gay theater director for several months, and if you want to hear bigotry, just listen to their spiteful, pissy remarks about “those BREEDERS.”
Or this: “When I was born, I took one look back at my mother’s c***, and swore I would never go anywhere like that again!” (The classic, ultimate fag insult — everywhere from “Blue Boy” magazine to Stephen Fry. . .)
Yeah, they’re seriously fucked up. But now they insist that being left in peace isn’t enough: they want to destroy the Christians. (NOT THE MOSLEMS, mind you: they are Queer for Palestine!!! whatevs…)

Also, the Atlantic Monthly actually published a piece about how Americans, esp. the younger ones, GREATLY OVERESTIMATE the percentage of homosexuals in the country: it’s about 1.5%, NOT ten percent.
I still can’t believe that we even have to discuss this: that buttfucking another man is unnatural (DOH!); that Chaz Bono isn’t a “man” just because she had her tits cut off — and she and any others like her are very sad cows indeed! more to be pitied than anything. But having a double mastectomy doesn’t make you a “man,” any more than having your dick cut off makes you a “woman” (eunuch in the latter case, actually).

The New Normal, according to the Queer Nation, is a couple of pansies pretending to be married, getting some fool of a woman to take a turkey baster of jizz from one of them and pop out an unfortunate child. The mother gets all the Archie Bunker lines, and is obviously intended to be a figure of ridicule, just like pinko Norman Lear intended for Archie. (Sux for him: Archie was the most beloved character of All in the Family, because he was RIGHT most of the time!)
I’m so sick of this crap.
Beth and I went to the closest C-F-A for lunch this afternoon..the two intersecting streets by the restaurant were backed up a block by people trying to get in; the drive through window had a double line all around the joint.
It took us five minutes just to enter the building and about 4 minutes to get to the ordering line. It then took about 40 minutes for our order to be filled. No one complained about the wait for their food, indeed, they had a grand time just conversing with like minded people and treated it like an EVENT that they were glad to be a part of.
I had never eaten at C-F-A prior to this; I just wanted to show our support for the CEO’s free speech rights, but I must say that the chicken sandwich I had was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and the waffle fries were top notch. I really look forward to eating there again as often as possible.
Tallulah, I can back up your impressions of Gay “Culture” 100% with my own experiences. I have a gay brother, and when going out with him and some of his friends; I found it disgusting how they viewed the culture at large as “breeders”, and taking offense at the slightest questioning of their activities. I have other gay friends that are just as disgusted as I am by the radical segments of the gay population.
Wendy’s can kiss my patronage goodbye.

I hate chicken, and I don’t like Chick-Fil-A food. Actually, the thought of it is making me a bit nauseous. I also disagree with the owner’s views on marriage equality, and I don’t like the whole giving money to lobbyists who promote continued federal involvement in marriage. That said…

I don’t give a shit one way or the other about homosexual civil unions. Frankly, I stand on my long-held belief that the State doesn’t have any business in marriage. The only reason they do it is for tax revenue.
I do care about sacramental marriage. Although I’m not a christian, I do believe in the holy nature of marriage. I don’t know of any mainstream non-weird church that sanctifies same-sex marriage but this discussion of “same-sex marriage” is a step toward forcing traditional churches to recognize them (a la the Catholic church and the contraception thing) in order to destroy any worship other than that of the State.
Having said that, Chik Fil A sandwiches are EXCELLENT! The one here on University in Huntsville is, without a doubt, the best run fast food franchise I’ve ever seen anywhere.
I’ll be in Amarillo (closest one to my house that I know of) on the 15th, 16th, and 17th. Each of those three days I will consume at CFA. Quite probably 3 times each day.

First of all, the “Biblical Version of Marriage™” happens to be the one that a vast majority of Americans hold to be true, so massive that the extremist minority are 0-32 in trying to get gay marriage propositions through wherever they’ve tried.
But even that’s not the point. Because, you see, even though a vast majority, a vast majority of Americans are self-identified Christians, that doesn’t translate into a vast majority of those Christians hate-hate-HATING Teh Ghey™, it just translates into “could you please quit trying to stuff your cocks in our faces every day? OKTHXBAI”
But that’s also not the point. I’ll get to it, I promise. Here goes:
The point IS that we’re everloving sick and fucking tired of being scolded, hectored, cajoled, browbeaten and ordered about by idiots who think that they somehow have the authority to do so, and when they DO try again, which they do on an almost daily basis, we get righteously ticked off because we’ve had it to our back teeth with our self-proclaimed “betters” telling us what we should do, buy, think and tolerate.
Yes, Cathy has an opinion that, coincidentally, about 80-90% of Americans also have (the vile extremist hater that he is), yet his restaurants do NOT discriminate against gays in either hiring or serving practices. It is his PERSONAL opinion which he, unlike liberal fascists with more power than sense, wisely keeps personal because, well, personal.
If he were to do something like what Ogabe’s former chief of staff, Rahm “Pink Tu-Tu” Emmanuel did which, in Cathy’s case, would be to refuse to serve or employ gays, then I can almost guarandoubledamntee you that the outcome wouldn’t be any more happy for him than the present situation has been for Emmanuel the Wannabe Mobster. I, for one, would instantly refuse to business with Chick-Fil-A if that were the case, and I’m about as Christianisty-Christian as they come.
But that wouldn’t be the point for me, you see. The point in that hypothetical scenario would be, for me, that “Cathy ought to mind his own damn business because, what the fuckity fuck does somebody’s bedroom habits have to do with his ability to cook or serve a yummy sandwich or the value of his money should he want to purchase one?”
Are you beginning to get it now?
Oh, and as to the “but those liberal organizations that are definitely not liberal organizations if you ask me any other day but now that I need examples of liberal organizations they are” support Cathy “argument”, I certainly applaud, for instance, the ACLU for finally getting it right. It’s not something they’re exactly known for. But that hardly makes the shit storm of hate from other liberals, not to mention the utter silence from Obam-bam regarding his former chief of staff’s douchebaggery and fascist behavior. You DO realize that Cathy’s position on gay marriage is the exact same one that Obam-bam held until he “evolved”, just in time for his Hollyweird fundraisers, don’t you?
