Bipartisan!

The House just voted (again) to repeal OgabeTaxCare, this time with 5 Democrats joining the vote.

Democratic Reps. Dan Boren (Okla.), Larry Kissell (N.C.), Jim Matheson (Utah), Mike McIntyre (N.C.), and Mike Ross (Ark.) voted to repeal the law.

The five Democrats are an increase over the last time Republicans voted to repeal Obamacare — in Jan. 2011 — when three joined with Republicans. Boren, Matheson, and Ross were the three Democrats at that time.

Will the DNC Media hail this Bold New Era of Bipartisanship in Washington DC?

You can stop laughing now. It’s alright. Stop laughing. Just stop it. STOP IT, DAMMIT!

Now contrast this with how Obama and Roberts’ (the latter deserves credit as he personally rewrote it so he could uphold it) Obamination passed on a strictly party line basis in the face of massive, 2/3 popular opposition to it, yet not a single DNC Media outlet uttered a peep about that.

But there is no media bias. Nosirree. Move along. Racist.

Thatisall.

Folks, I met a woman on the NYC bus today: Jewish, retired teacher, UFTA member, and she was ENRAGED. :em08:

She started ranting to me that she would Never Vote for a Democrat Again As Long As She Lived, that Obama was a racist, a liar, a Hitler; that he and his minions were destroying the country, that she’s already lost 2 doctors to the Obamacare Tidal Wave, and on and on. She was Incandescent with Rage, folks. :em08: I just grinned and agreed, amazed. She railed against “the stupid American voters who pay zero attention to what’s going on.” She raged about Jeremiah Wright, the class warfare, the America-haters, and the bloody Socialists who want to destroy this country; the moslems who are terrorist scum that the prez has invited to the White House. :em08: She even railed against blacks who just want free money, to be on the dole, on welfare — why should they work if they’re getting paid to loaf around? Food stamps can now be used for alcohol, and they’re Advertising them!

The black women on the bus with us were giving us the stinkeye, and I was getting a bit worried that we’d have some kind of confrontation. But this old Jewish teacher Did Not Care.

So I asked her, “When did you leave the Dimocrat reservation?” and she declared, “When OBAMA was elected. I voted for McCain. I saw what he was doing, and that was IT for me.” So I asked her, “Didn’t it rattle you when the Dims sided with the moslems almost immediately after the WTC attacks?” and she looked kinda ticked and said, “That’s when I took all my money out of Amalgamated Bank.” This was where she dismounted the bus, but we agreed it was a blast talking to each other.

People, if a lifelong Jewish Democrat in NYC who’s a member of the teachers’ union can be this livid with The Boyfriend — there’s hope. I gotta say, she is a member of the LAST demographic you would expect to turn the corner.

This is the thing: she was so livid because this asshole has betrayed all her deepest ideals. I think there will be some breaking to the right on this issue that will be fast and furious. Like a wife who’s found out her beloved husband of forty years has been porking prostitutes all that time, some of these True Believers who wake the fuck up will be

    OUT FOR BLOOD.

I will add that even though she was furious about the Israeli situation, it was about TENTH on her list: she had a long list of Patriotic Reasons for hating these swine.

In fact, she has already changed her registration to Republican! and said her only regret is that she can’t vote in the primary to get rid of Upchuck Schumer! :em08: She added, “You know he was furious that he didn’t get Harry Reid’s job.”

She started the whole diatribe with a blistering denunciation of Mayor Bloomberg, and accurately pegged him as a Beantown Lefty.

    Typo: repeat should be repeal.

I don’t know about the other four Dems who voted to repeal, but Dan Boren had nothing to lose. He is not running for re-election. So, when he voted for repeal, he was voting for what he thought was right, probably for what his constituents want, not what Obama or Pelosi want.

Did you notice that the two converts – Kissell and McIntyre – are from North Carolina, home of the 2012 DNC Convention? Man, is this popcorn good.

We must remember that, for the most part, fly-over and South Eastern Dems actually look very similar to North Eastern RINOS. I think more would vote against this bastardized monstrousity if they didn’t fear reprisal by the Thug in Chief and his band of windycity asshats.

    Boryon says:

And that is one HECK of a typo too! Yikes!

Thanks, Boryon, it has been corrected. :em01:

My friend in OK has told me Dan Boren is getting out. Too bad, but he can’t switch party in his district and get re-elected. Oklahoma is right behind Texas on the let’s secede tomorrow list and he’s had all he can stand inside the beltway.

Arizona is also high up on that list.

As a bona fide, born Okie I can definitely say that the secession murmurs run strong in the Sooner State. :em03:
