The Hill Poll found that likely voters disapproved by an almost 2-to-1 margin of Obama’s assertion of presidential power in the case. Overall, 56 percent of voters disapproved of his action, while only 29 percent approved.
Democrats have accused Issa of waging a partisan campaign that has no real purpose save for embarrassing Obama and Holder.
And they’re right! It HAS embarrassed Ogabe and Heinrich Holder, but only because of the Tumblefucked Twosome’s own actions, as 56 percent of likely voters (not the usual three dozen liberal friends of MSNBC that the Ogabe Steno Pool like to poll) clearly state.
Is it possible to die from pop corn poisoning? Because His Imperial Majesty may need an intervention if that’s the case.

If there was a news story tomorrow about Obama shooting Mitt Romney at a Barbeque, there would be about 29% approval of his actions in subsequent surveys.
This 29% that approved of Obama’s use of Executive Privilege is a recurring theme to me. There seems to be a core of supporters for him at this level. Makes sense in one way – 13% of the population is black, and surveys have estimated that about one fifth of Americans will admit identifying themselves as ‘liberal’. Subtract those being double-counted, and there is his base of absolutely loyal minions who don’t care what is happening as long as he is doing it.
While I believe it is increasingly possible to beat Obama this year, this is fairly scary in several ways. First, this 29% becomes a decent estimate of the size of the TWANLOC malignancy. At that size, it matters a hell of a lot if that group is growing or shrinking. Second, we must thank our lucky stars that Obama is not Hispanic, as long as there is any chance that the Hispanic voters would react to their presidential candidate the way African Americans reacted to Obama. There may come a time in the near future where a charismatic radical liberal Hispanic emerges, and all bets on the future of the Republic will be off.

On a completely un-related note, I have a LC Lobo update. He left this afternoon, in a running car, with a full tank.

Due to an unforseen incident with an idiot wrecking the axle we needed re-sealed, we had to replace the axle. and three tires. But he’s on the road, and that’s worth something. Not sure where he is, but I’ll add an update as soon as he calls me.

Gingis, he has lost some of the black vote due to his evolution on gay marriage, he has lost some of the rabid left because he is not left enough, he has lost some of the jewish vote because of his treatment of Israel, he has lost a lot of blue collar votes due to his handling of the economy. Rasmussen has Romney up by 2%. Rasmussen also has Obama’s approval at 46%. That number includes those who strongly approve and somewhat approve. That means 54% either strongly disapprove or somewhat disapprove. Looking a bit closer at Rasmussen, 23% strongly approve, and 43% strongly disapprove. Il Douche has the NYT criticizing him. He had Jon Stewart criticizing him. CBS has been covering F&F, and has not tried to spin it for Ear Leader. Leno has started making jokes about him. I don’t think these polls are all that accurate. I think (and I really hope) that this next election will be such a shellacking for Obama that he will wonder what the hell happened.
Even if, on his last day in office, Ogabe issues a blanket pardon for Holder, Romney might very well honor a request for extradition from the Mexican government… maybe for both of them.

The parts of a politician’s character that matter to the voter are revealed in his relationship to the American people and the principles of American liberty and law. These are the areas in which Obama has shown himself to be a man unsuited to his office. Here are three examples.
1. He lies to us constantly about who he is. Not in the way most politicians lie, spinning and shading events with self-serving half-truths. He lies with the arrogant bravado of a con man messiah. My grandfather was tortured by the British. My parents met because of the march in Selma. My white girlfriend wanted to be black. These aren’t lies that were forced out of him in a rough moment to defend himself from controversy — like the lie about terrorist William Ayers being just a guy in the neighborhood, or the one about never having heard the hate-mongering of Jeremiah Wright — these are intentionally crafted falsehoods. They were meant to do exactly what they did: to recreate Obama in the image of the black savior leftists had been waiting for, the man who would relieve them of the disfiguring guilt arising from their dreadful history of racism and justify the disastrous havoc their policies have wreaked on African-Americans.
2. He does not believe in the American way. When he is not lying, when he thinks he’s among friends, when he inadvertently announces his radicalism because it runs so deep he doesn’t even realize it is radicalism, when he thinks he can get away with it because it’s good politics, Obama reveals his philosophy to be antithetical to the exceptional American project of limited government, personal liberty and free enterprise. The Constitution needs to be falsely interpreted to allow wealth redistribution. The free market doesn’t work. His actions should not be hampered by Congress. The Supreme Court has no right to overturn his laws as unconstitutional. America is arrogant overseas. He can decide unilaterally which laws will be enforced. He can override the free practice of religion if he thinks the issue is really, really important. Again and again, he reveals himself to be wholly a product of the anti-American, anti-liberal and anti-democratic left at odds with the principles of our founding.
3. He has no clue how things actually work. Even if socialism did work, it would be wrong because it would strip people of the fruits of their labor and the property rights on which liberty depends. Thankfully, it doesn’t work, which makes the moral issue moot. But Obama has no clue of what’s been tried and found wanting. He surrounds himself with ideologues and tunes out anyone who’s ever made an honest dime in the real world. Thus every single idea the “progressive” president puts forward is a regressive throwback to notions that have been failing miserably for more than seventy years. The stuff he believes is just plain dopey. He thinks technology is the cause of unemployment. He does not understand that only private jobs create the wealth that makes public jobs possible. He thinks that wind and solar energy should be subsidized and fossil fuel production suppressed. He insists on bringing the European social model to the U.S. even as the model implodes in front of our eyes.
So go ahead, tell me that Mitt Romney is rich and I should hate him for it. Tell me that he’s white and I should hate him for that. Tell me that his wife rides horses or that he said something nasty when he was fifteen or that — omigod! — he’s a Mormon. Whatever his foibles and flaws, it seems pretty clear that Romney has the character to be president. Barack Obama has proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he does not.
