Of course we will….
I just received a heartfelt letter.
From Mrs. Roguetek.
It requires no explaination…..
Here it is…..
Get your tires…we’ll get you there, Lobo..
Who can I write to to get something posted on the Rott? LC Lobo who lives with us was just told
his mother who is in the hospital has two weeks to live. We need to raise money to put tires on the
car and cover gas to get him there and back. Our only option here is to dip into the Ohio trip money,
which I hate to do but will if we can’t come up with another answer. We’ve been slowly saving the
remainder needed to make the trip, but it’s slow and taking 700 out of it will set us back months
and months. Do you think the Rotts would help him? And who should I write to as I do not have posting
privileges.
Misha, please check your tip jar.

Please send my sympathies to Lobo. .And let’s see what we can do.
To bring people up to speed, Myself, and the wife are putting up our car (once we finish fixing it) so that he can drive there. He’s going to need two new tires, and fuel money. I sprung for the brake pads, insurance, and new axle seals, but I’m out of divertable cash.
Done.
We are very sorry to hear this news…just hit the tip jar. Our prayers are with LC Lobo and family.
Tell me where the cash goes. Meaning, just let me know where I need to put my donation.
“Donate” button, left column.
Just let me know if more is needed.
Thanks, guys, you’re awesome!
Sent what we got so far along already, with a few Imperial sestertii thrown in for good measure
A few more bucks will be along shortly…..there are always gremlins to deal with.
As an added bonus, the kind that leave my eyes glistening….Mrs. Rogueteks new chemo may be working, no new tumors, growth arrested in all others and they may be dying. As she said…..The chemo seems to be working. Last week’s petscan showed no new tumors, and no growth in existing tumors, and existing tumors took up less of the dye, meaning they are s-l-o-w-l-y dying.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emperor Misha I @ #8:
I was going to ask how much more they needed, because then I was going to put it in there. But it doesn’t matter, again, just let me know if more is needed.
Mish – check the tip jar. I hope it’s not too late to contribute. It’s not much, but it’s something.
I just hit the tip jar. A guy needs to eat once he get to the hospital.
Me too. Use at your discretion.
Done and done.
Check the tip jar, not much but every little bit helps.
DONE
UPDATE:
After having the axle fucked up by the shop we took it to, we manged to find entire replacement rear end for roughly 150$.
We’ll be installing it tomorrow.
