Elsewhere in the Empire

…the heat gets turned up under the arses of Brett Kimberlin and Friends, with 87 members of Congress going on record demanding an investigation into the SWATting incidents.

Speaking of SWATting. Brett Kimberlin is now claiming to have been the victim of one too.

And why wouldn’t we believe him? After all, it’s not like he’s a serial perjurer and convicted terrorist. Oh wait.

And then there’s the fact that the cops in Maryland have no record of any such thing.

But, other than that? Absolutely unimpeachable!

We’re sure that “judge” Vaughey, were they to drag him out of mothballs for a repeat performance, would believe every single word. If only the rest of the world wouldn’t have to sit through another hour-long session of the drooling old senile goat reminiscing about his magnificent youth as a streetwise New York tuff.

Thatisall.

Had Brett Kimberlin been the victim of a SWATing, I can imagine someone would rig some sort of pyrotechnic device to engage just as the police drove up to the house. Maybe something like an M60 simulator…

Us right-wing crazies are clever like that.

Speaking of Swattings, has anyone read about the new law in Indiana?

Indiana law allows lethal force against police unlawfully entering home

It looks like the legislature got fed up with their supreme court canceling the 4th amendment. :em03:
