    The best bumper sticker I ever saw, however, was one for Ronald Reagan during his campaign against Edmund G. Brown (Jerry Brown’s father, I believe) for the Governor of California. It said:

    “If It’s Brown, Flush It!

    I still laugh about that sticker.

    OPEN LETTER TO ROMNEY: Stay tough. America cannot afford a candidate who would rather make a holier-than-thou statement than fight with both fists. Obama deserves to go down HARD. But America needs a hard fighter, not a wuss. STAY TOUGH and go for the jugular, Mitt. If you do not, you will lose the election and WE will lose the country.

    How true.

    Sadly, electing Romney is like pointing the Titanic toward another iceberg and firing the engines up to full.

    However, I don’t think the problem lies in the candidates. I strongly believe that the political incompetence of the American people is at fault. These clowns simply take advantage of it. Oblahma’s shenanigans would have been completely irrelevant had the so-called “Tea Party movement” been able to persuade Americans to read and insist upon implementation of the Constitution. Turns out the “Tea Party” is nothing more than a bunch of whining Republicans who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk when it comes to the Constitution.

    With a properly educated and motivated populace, the holder of the office should not matter. The people (who would have never allowed their Second Amendment rights or any others to have been so violated) would see to the proper implementation of the Constitution. Sadly, our efforts to properly educate and motivate the people have fallen desperately short. We must accept the blame for this, and forge resolutely forward to correct the error of our ways.

    For allowing these things to happen, we are as guilty of these crimes as the liberals that have been elected to commit them. Time to right the ship. Elect whomever, but educate the people and motivate them to keep these clowns’ feet to the Constitutional fire!

    But before this gets into a giant pep talk, let me explain something…

    I have no intention of “offing” myself, nor am I planning on “giving up”.

    What my feelings were the other night was that what I was going through was almost unbearable, and that it made you feel as though you wanted to die — just to get past the poison running through you.

    You have to understand that this is NOT my first go-around with chemotherapy. This one is a bit more aggressive than I’ve had to deal with before.

    So when I am in the middle of treatment, I am liable to say just about anything — and that is what I did.
