Here we have another member of the Pore Oppressed Unions™ telling a Tea Partier (you know, those racist, gay-hating, violent terrorists) that he’ll “fuck his mother” and “fuck you in the ass, you faggot” and that “you better get away from here.”
Gee, thanks. We’re certainly glad that the Ogabe Thugs show so much civility in order to teach us violent right-wing goons how civilized people behave themselves.
We’re positively shamed by the outpouring of reason, civility and well-mannered discourse put on display by that Ogabe Union Brownshirt. Beating up girls, curb-stomping invalids and sending them to the ICU…
So much to learn from them.
But we make you this promise: We’re taking notes and we ARE learning.
And we can’t wait for finals when we get to demonstrate our newly acquired skills to you leftist thugs. You’ll be proud of us, your humble students, proud beyond belief as you spend the rest of your lives drooling in a wheelchair and shitting into a bag taped to your abdomens.

Again: Don’t start a fight, but make damn sure that you finish every single one you’re forced into! And use any level of force necessary to achieve that goal.
Pretty soon, the leftist fucks will get the message and become quite hesitant when it comes to picking on “easy” targets.
Backing off is nothing but reinforcing bad behavior which, to anybody with an IQ above 60, is nothing but an invitation to worse behavior.
This shit has to stop, and it’s better that it stop now rather than later, when the mess created as a result will be much, much worse. The confrontation is inevitable. With every “civil” response to aggressive behavior we’re only accelerating that process.

Had the woman started a PHYSICAL altercation I might be able to see your point.
But plain and simple the facts are thus….. Union goons showed up at the FreedomWorks office, not a capital building, not a location of a speech, not even a location where a public official was staying. That is not to say that they don’t have every right to protest any damn place they feel the urge, but they were there to cause trouble and make a scene. So a reporter whose office they are protesting goes out and does her job and gets assaulted for her trouble.
This has nothing do do with a woman acting like a lady, it has everything to do with a union thug with limited intelligence allowing himself to be whipped into a mindless fury by his masters. Justice would have been an asp strike to the toughs skull the millisecond he laid his hands on her.

What exactly constitutes a “woman acting like a man”?
Does it entail a woman actually striking you or will just “getting in your face” suffice?
If a woman talks or dresses in a certain way, does that mean she’s “fair game” to get belted?
At what point are you “intimidated” by a woman enough that you feel the need to hit her?
You might want to clarify because your statement as it stands is making you veer dangerously close to “sniveling punkass” territory.

Myself, it would take a sustained physical assault before I would hit a woman.
Jamming a camera in my face and being obnoxious would be annoying as hell but hardly “intimidating” to me.

I think there is an important line here- woman/lady. I survived an attempted murder at the hands of a woman- she was sure as fuck no lady. To be fair, I disarmed her without striking her, but that wasn’t because of her gender but because she was the woman I loved.
Now, I’m of the attitude that if you deserve slugging, you get slugged (not that I go around punching people, it’s just an attitude). Women wanted equality, they get it. That said, I can’t think of anything a lady could do to deserve punching, and frankly for me to punch anyone requires them to raise their hand first. It’s not a gender thing- size is irrelevant- I’m sure that N@ could make catfood out of me (and feed it to the kittehs) no problem. It’s a cultural role thing- gentlemen don’t hit ladies.
All of this said, I haven’t seen the vid- am stuck behind the GFW and it won’t display. I’ll assume from the discussion here that the guy was not physically assaulted, and though I don’t know about other provocations I’ll assume he was in the wrong- but he’d be as much in the wrong if he’d assaulted a guy.
Not saying that she did this (I’ll take your collective word she didn’t) but I don’t believe that gender trumps consequences for your actions- you provoke a fight, you should be prepared to fight it, regardless of your sex.

I was raised with the notion that you don’t hit women, period.
It’s part of the “standup guy” code of conduct.
A woman can be as loud, obnoxious and “in my face” as she likes and I won’t respond by hitting her.
However, I will respond by being just as loud, obnoxious and “in her face” in return.
I will take a slap in the face and respond by saying something along the lines of “You’re f**king psycho” and walk away. (Unless I had blurted out something really vile to warrant a slap in the face whereupon I’d respond with an apology, especially if she was a friend)
On the other hand, if confronted by a sustained physical assault, the threat of death or serious bodily harm, you have to defend yourself and do what’s necessary.
As a side note, if I was stuck on the planet Amazonia, I might have to rethink my last comment.
I’d also have to rethink defending myself from “threat of death” if it was “Death By Snoo Snoo“.

I live in a fairly affluent area(even though I am not, my friends joke I live in the ghetto of &^%$*(city withheld) but guess what they had to eliminate our police force because my city could no longer support it. We now only have the county sheriff department, which is fine because we made the choice to tighten are belts and buck up RATHER than have everyone be taxed to the point of moving. Did the schools take notice, no they came back again asking for money so that they could build a swimming pool. That is when I realized that the schools just do not get it, you cannot get money from people who don’t have anymore. Seriously DJ that is what the people I met on Sat told me that we just have to increase taxes rather than realize that we all need to suck it up and do more with less.

I know about “across the curriculum” I had to learn about it when I was in college and used it somewhat in my classroom but since I mainly taught first grade felt that reading, writing and arithmatic were my priorities. The way I saw it, if they couldn’t read, write, and do math it really didn’t matter if they could tell you about their community(social studies curriculum) or about global warming(science crap).

And the guy wants to get physical cause he’s being filmed and asked questions? What the guy should have done (from a legal perspective) is try to retreat from his “harassers” and if that didn’t provide relief, contact local Law enforcement. Thats it. Thats the legal remedy. There is NO REASONABLE FORCE allowance for this type of scenario (or for any “harassment scenario). Also this individual was in public, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy in public. One doesn’t need permission to photograph or audiotape or videotape anything that is occurring in public. So the whole “they should have asked permission” schtick is just a crock of shit. Just like this guys behavior. Unless one is under reasonable threat of imminent physical harm one cannot touch another in a “aggressive” manner.

Words, well words are words, and should not provoke violence- but I think that if the physical line is crossed then ‘don’t hit a girl (well, woman, since we must assume she’s of age and no lady)’ holds as little water as ‘don’t hit a guy with glasses’.
