Obama the Birther
We know we’re late to this party, but we have other pressing issues that we have to deal with these days.
Still, we can’t help but chortle at the discovery that Ogabe was the Original Birther.
And here we thought that all of us who ever dared question why Ogabe was so damn secretive about his place of birth, not to mention any other record of his previous life (while the Ogabe Steno Pool were busy trying to find out if Palin ever threw recyclables in the general trash can), were the Birthers. Not because we claimed that he was born in Kenya, we didn’t know that anymore than the people who claimed the opposite knew that he wasn’t, but that doesn’t matter. Because SHUT UP! And also, RACIST!
And now it turns out that Ogabe himself was touting himself as a Kenyan born to an anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister. OK, so his mother did take anthropology classes in college and his father did work as assistant file clerk in the Kenyan ministry of finance, but that would be pretty much the same as His Imperial Majesty proclaiming himself a medical doctor because we did, after all, attend med school and passed all of our classes short of the ones where you get your actual degree. We also took classes in statistics, but that hardly makes us a statistician. And even if it did, we’d be loath to brag about it, but we digress.
He was just “resume polishing.” What sounds more interesting if you’re trying to publish a book on the travails of being a child of a mixed marriage trying to find his identity? A spoiled brat born in Hawaii with a silver spoon in his mouth or the struggling offspring of a mixed marriage born in deepest Africa to an anthropologist and a finance minister brought to evil, capitalist America?
We know. Tough call, no?
So he sent his bio to his publisher, who then, for 17 years with numerous updates, published his bio as a Kenyan-born son of a mixed marriage between prestigious individuals, not once receiving an “er, scuze me?” letter from their prodigy who surely must have been keeping a close eye on those things as a wannabe up-and-coming author.
Until he decided to run for president, at which point his publisher immediately, for no apparent reason at all (if we’re to believe the publisher and the Obama Steno Pool aka the MSM), updated his bio to state that he was born in Hawaii.
Sheer coincidence, of course. Or you’re a RACIST!
Now, we’re not saying that his resume polishing is proof of his having been born in Kenya. Of course it isn’t. We can’t say that he’s been born there any more than the “anti-birthers” who also have no conclusive proof, can say that he wasn’t. Difference is, we’re willing to admit that. As a matter of fact, based on what little we are allowed to know of this national top secret eyes only affair, we rather tend to think that he probably was shat out in Hawaii.
That’s not the issue here. What IS the issue is that either A) he wasn’t really born in Hawaii and thus is ineligible for office or B) he was born in Hawaii and is therefore guilty of deliberately lying to further his own career.
B) fits with everything else he’s done throughout his life so, Occam’s Razor in mind, we’re likely to go with that.
Funny shit that, but let’s talk about the 1859 Mormon Massacre or how Ann Romney’s horses are really expensive instead because… SHUT UP!

btw – I work in regulatory compliance these days – ‘sent verification’ doesn’t fill me with confidence (read: “email-stating-pinky-swear”) – particularly after 4 years, $MM in legal-fees and a joint-program of derision and character-assassination by the Admin & MSM against anyone who even asks about the complete, since-elementary-school document blackout.
Please also recall that the last time we got ‘verification from Hawaii’ it was from Obama’s attorney, Judith Corley – who stated that she had personally ‘felt the raised seal’ on the BC that she returned with a “Scanned Copy” of… which turned out to have been wholly fabricated electronically…
Oops – sorry, I forgot – you don’t work ‘details’ on this topic – gets in the way of SHUT UP – or ‘makes you look silly’ or ‘Racist’ or whatever the magic 8-ball floats up.

I have come to the conclusion that if Obama had been born in front of a full house at the Madison Square Gardens with live high definition worldwide feeds, with the entire Supreme Court, Congress, and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing in the background, you STILL wouldn’t believe it.
As far as the “experts” that WND has lined up to “prove” forgery, they play on the fact that people like you are completely ignorant to how a digitized image works.
I could come of with the same exact “evidence” that any document is a “forgery” using their methods. Depending on what equipment was used to scan a document, you can come up with very similar results using any document you choose.
The part that you STILL cannot get away from is the fact that every piece of information on that long form Birth Certificate was once again verified by the State of Hawaii as being accurate. Enough so that it satisfied the Arizona Secretary of State who also just happens to be Mitten’s state campaign chair.
Try moving on. You are just embarrassing yourself.

Oh, and try this on for a little reality check. Assume for a moment that Obama has been using a fake Social Security number. Exactly how long would it be before the Social Security Administration AND the IRS comes down on him for using a fake number like that? Especially since he has been a high profile person for a decade or so?
I couldn’t go six years without the IRS jumping down my throat over money I earned in British Columbia and hadn’t paid taxes on. On top of that, I didn’t go four months at my current job without the SSA coming back to me with the fact that one of my SS numbers had been transposed.
Again, these little conspiracies play for the people who really can’t think for themselves.

The Achilles heal of this “conspiracy” is that the original document is a scanned laser print. Essentially a flat image scanned with a scanner and digitized using a PDF software. If you knew anything about scanner optics you would know how these layers would normally occur.
Your assumption is that someone took a document printed on safety paper (which is the green paper that it was printed on) and magically assembled the information in layers and in such a way that it didn’t effect the safety features of the paper. THAT would take some doing and if it had been done that way, they certainly wouldn’t have saved it without flattening the image. Even so, the act of scanning the final document would be essentially the same as making a photocopy.
I am a bit more than familiar with the technology involved here.

Bear in mind that this little conspiracy nugget isn’t exactly unknown to both the IRS and Social Security. If there was ANYTHING to it, they would have been all over it LONG before now — LONG before he ever became president.

Creating a lie to make himself look exotic? That makes a lot of sense, given this ladder climber’s other behaviors. I’d still like to know whether he attended Harvard on a grant for foreign students. I think that information would be a lot more interesting than his birthplace.

Here is the thing: Hawaii states, through first their certification that the information contained on the document is true and correct. They then have gone out of their way more than twice now to insist that the information on that document is correct and that they issued the damn thing. What part are you not understanding?
The state of Hawaii insists that they issued the document exactly as you see it. Period. End. They have attached a certification to that document as being true and correct. In a separate action, they have certified to the State of Arizona that the information is true and correct.
Yet you insist on being stuck on stupid because you don’t want to believe it.
And I have watched the videos and they prove absolutely nothing. I could get the same results analyzing a scanned photocopy of any document. It means nothing.
The image of the document is a jpeg. As such, it saves as aflattened image. Yet you can open it up and pull “layers” off it it in certain incidents. It happens.
If you spent as much energy building a case against Obama for his actions as president as you do about some crackpot conspiracy, you might have a point. There is PLENTY of tangible things to whip yourself up into a frenzy about than something that has about as much substance as there being aliens from outer space visiting us.

Sorry DJ, but you are trying to hide a sunrise. There is no precedent for a president who has made ascertaining his eligibility or relevant background this difficult, has promoted such widespread variation in the public versions of the truth, or has failed to address a very simple question like how it is he comes to have a SSN from a state he has never lived in, or how it is that his mother has US immigration records that date to several months after his birth while accompanied by a months-old son.
If he wanted everyone to believe he was ineligible, he would behave just as he has. His only saving grace is a large contingent who refuse to question this, which is itself unacceptable. We are a nation of laws, or we are nothing.

OK, I suppose it is about Birtherism, only the Birther in this case is Ogabe himself, lying for over a decade and a half about his origins in order to sell his turgid prose better.
So the conclusion is that if you suggest that Ogabe was born in Kenya, you’re a Birther racist, which means that Ogabe is a Birther racist. Or was, until he realized that his bio might be in the way of his pursuit of the presidency and had it changed post haste.
And if you point out that Ogabe was lying in his bio about having been born in Kenya, then you’re a Birther racist too. Which also makes Ogabe a Birther racist since he’s claiming quite loudly now that he wasn’t born in Kenya.
But no matter what, no matter where the fuck Ogabe was or wasn’t born, this whole case proves that he’s a plain, old-fashioned, garden variety, pathological liar.

The origin of this story comes from the attorney, Mario Apuzzo, arguing a case before a NJ administrative judge and who is trying to block Obama from appearing on the ballot in that state. Understand that this too is his opinion, but it is about as close to what was said as you can get.
The plaintiff argues that Obama has not met his burden of showing that he is eligible to be on the New Jersey ballot by showing that he is a “natural born citizen”, and that he has not provided any evidence to the NJ Secretary of State showing who he is or whether he was born in the US.
Alexandra Hill, the attorney for the defense moves to dismiss arguing that the law in NJ doesn’t obligate Obama to produce anything. Her pretrial motion is denied and the trial starts.
Apuzzo puts the two plaintiffs on the stand who state why they are bringing the action and introducing documents that show there is a question to Obama’s identity.
He then calls an “internet image expert”. (which, from viewing BC’s library of images over the years would make him a qualified “internet image expert” too) to the stand and Ms. Hill objected.
This is where the wild-eyed extrapolation comes from, so pay REAL close attention.
At no point did she admit the image was a fake or a forgery. She simply — and correctly — agreed that an image on the internet cannot be used as irrefutable evidence and therefore the need for an “internet image expert” is not warranted.
She went on to argue that Obama doesn’t have the obligation to personally provide anything to get on the ballot. (that is up to the state to do exactly what Arizona did — request the information themselves)
At NO point did she ever say that the birth certificate was fake or forged.
Are you really as deeply, personally offended by all this as you’re coming off – or are name-calling and ad hominem attacks just SOP for you?
At the end of the day – The Obama Administration put both the short & long-forms forth as proof of his citizenship – each was intended to be the final word in ‘getting all those damn racists to SHUT UP’ – and the long-form was proffered as the real-live ‘felt-the-raised-seal-on-the-original’ copy of the real-live birth certificate that Obama has spent years and millions in an effort to keep from releasing.
And they’re fakes – even if you claim special knowledge of a DJ-only sooper-seekrit magic-scanner that can somehow take a picture of a document and produce an image with layers that can be moved while leaving the background intact – no.
They offered both to the American People as Evidence – and their Evidence was fabricated – both times.
And btw – has Obama given up fighting the other BC lawsuits – you know, since he’s ‘already produced’ the BC?
No? How does that work?

Obama provided copies of both versions of his birth certificate. They were for public viewing — and the first president ever to be requested. He is and was under on obligation to do so, but when he did it WAS to put it to rest once and for all. He went a step further and provided a certified statement from Hawaii authenticating both versions as shown. (funny how nobody has EVER challenged those two documents — but they are available on the White House site)
The court case (which was ruled in Obama’s favor, btw) that would have had us believe Obama’s attorney admitted to forged documents, was defended on the premise that Obama has no obligation to provide proof. The burden is on the government, NOT Obama.
Arizona’s Secretary of State did exactly what he should have done — made a state to state contact for clarification and verification. He got it and the matter SHOULD be settled now. Hawaii once again verified that the JPEG of the document you see on the White House website is a true and correct depiction of what Hawaii issued.
There are only so many different ways that this can be explained to you in the hopes that you understand.
I could go into a long, technical reason how you are able to get layers out of a JPEG image. I just don’t have time at the moment.

The facts not in question include the fact that Ms. Hill was dropped from Obama’s legal team shortly afterward, the plaintiff’s attorneys have received a number of death threats, and Obama’s legal team, after freaking out upon hearing of them, has moved to strike and destroy two separate videotapes of these legal proceedings.

Well DJ I look at it like this, I know I’ll never attain any thing resembeling perfection, but that doesn’t stop me from striving for perfection even though I know I will never reach it.
What have we accomplished here? Well, we’ve built a community that is without a doubt the most charitable (with zero strings attatched) group iv ever seen. If it wasn’t for these folks my son wouldn’t have had a xmas 2 yrs ago (thank you so much for your generosity ladies and gentlemen, you made a 10 yr old smile) I consider that a accomplishment of great proportion. This place has provided me with friendships that range from aqquaintance, to come over sleep in my house, no worries if your brokedown I’ll be right there friends. I place more value in that than political actions. Besides, if it wasn’t for places like this I believe to 2010 mid terms may have gone differently. And finally, it has provided a place wher one can get their grammar skills checked (priceless).
It just doesn’t seem likely to me that Obama was born in Kenya – after all, the mother’s “husband” was little more than a sperm donor – if he was even that. My thought is that Obama invented and milked this foreign thing for his own advantage for the benefits of being a foreign student and what he must have figured was an exotic image. So he lied for benefits – that’s pretty easy to understand. Still, this doesn’t explain his obstruction in showing his birth certificate – something is there he doesn’t want us to know.
I think it strange that anyone raising the BC question, with the possible exception of the sheriff, soon ‘accepts’ what is offered and suddenly becomes very quiet. I think there are heavy hammers being brought to bear. Even Trump became uncharacteristically quiet after the big hoop-la he raised.
The best part is how off the O’s campaign is, and I bet this is why. Think about it; they are so dumb they put up a file online of a “birth certificate” without flattening it!

I think what I am trying to say here is that the topics here tend to be more complaining and negativity. I can’t think of anything — ANYTHING — that a person can’t find something to complain about or see the negative in. Much of the stuff complained about on political sites (Left OR Right) seem to exaggerate the negativity to the point where the world is coming to an end, and goddammit we’d better start stockpiling the guns and ammo because the zombies are going to overrun us!!!

Maybe, but there is being prepared and being obsessed. By all means, prepare for the possibility of disaster etc. Living in an earthquake zone that is 40 years overdue for its 300-year 9.0 plus earthquake, I’ve prepared for the possibility of it happening before I push the “Speak!” button below. I, too am armed to the teeth both here and in a fall back location just in case something major happens, like an apocalypse or an invasion of Red Chinese singing Justin Bieber songs.
I just refuse to dwell on it.

We’ve devolved to the point that it won’t matter who the figurehead is in that position — that person will be labeled, dehumanized, ridiculed, and bashed by someone. Half the people will always be there to hate someone and say that they are “destroying the country” blah blah blah.
You could put Jesus Christ in that office and there will STILL be half the people complaining about how or what he is doing. I came to the conclusion a long time ago that a person who WANTS to be president has to have some serious flaws. After all, look at the choices we’ve had over the years. I am not sure I would want them looking after my lawn, let alone running a country…
Does this mean that I think that any of our past of present presidents are bad people? No, of course not. Do I think they are all patriotic people who have the best interests of our country in mind? Yes I do. Have they made mistakes? Who hasn’t? Are any of them communist/muslim/marxist/socialist asswipes? Nope.
