You Are, Are You?
According to this site, the DHS is preparing for civil war.
In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.
They are, are they?
His Imperial Majesty is not one to endorse stuff like this as accurate, we like a few more independent sources to confirm it, but we still have a comment, if it should be true. For the time being, we’ll assume that it is so:
To Whom It May Concern,
It is good that you are preparing yourselves, for one should never enter battle unprepared.
You are not the only ones. The preparation began almost two centuries and a half ago, and it has been going on until this day among some. To enlighten you, if you do not already know, the motivation behind this preparedness is described succinctly in a document that all too many have forgotten the text of. It is called “The Declaration of Independence.” If you are unfamiliar with it, and we are not assuming that you are, please take the time to read it all the way through. It will take less time than reading the introduction to just about any contemporary Act of Congress, which our so-called “representatives” can’t even be bothered to read before voting on it, and it will be ever so much more illuminating to you.
We are prepared. We are not “preparing”, we are prepared. Last count, and that was from before the current administration took office, there were about 80,000,000 of us thusly prepared.
Most of us are not merely prepared in the sense that we are armed and ready should such a calamity befall our great nation, we’re also exceedingly well trained.
Of course, if you are on the same side of our Founding Fathers whom we revere, you should find that encouraging, because you will never find a stronger or more fanatically devoted ally. You will have nothing to worry about. We have your back and victory is assured even before battle is joined.
We hope and pray that this is so.
But if you’re NOT, then we strongly suggest that you make peace with your G-d and settle your affairs, because you will surely burn in Hell within one sunrise of standing against us.
Stand beside us or die.
We fervently hope that you will choose the former, but we will not stay our hand for a second if you do not.
Consider yourselves duly advised of the choice that lays before you.
As Almighty G-d who, through His Providence and Love created and made this nation great, is our Witness.

Yet, the warning is there. Honor demands it. If the enemy chooses to disregard the warning, then never let it be said that they did not know what they were getting themselves into.
Again, I’m not making any assumptions here. That quote might just as easily mean that they’re ready to protect the rule of law and our sacred Constitution. But if they’re NOT, they will perish or I will be dead. May they make the right decision, for all of our sakes.

Those preparations better consist of many pairs of running shoes and a large supply of white flags if they are actually dumb enough to try and subjugate us.
There are a few people I’ve talked with who are surprised the shooting hasn’t happened yet. (Pleasantly surprised that is)

Generally speaking, when someone quotes “unnamed sources,” I am more than a little skeptical. I think that should Obama lose, we could face some rioting but I’m doubtful about a full civil war.
That being said, I’m still staying prepared. Now to see if I can get that job in Texas I’m looking for.

A very, very good idea. Texas, almost alone among the union has the resources to stand on it’s own quite well. In other words a federal siege of the Lonestar State would be a difficult exercise. Hell IIRC the Texas Air National Guard is like the 5th largest air force in the world. We have all the energy we need, access to open waters, agriculture and technology. Another factor is land, it allows land armies to maneuver easily for deployment as well as providing for concealment.
Yes indeed, Texas would be an ideal location when the big show starts.

Moving to Texas isn’t possible for me at this time. However, I do live in NH and we are in the process of clearing out the demoliberals from office. The governor is out after this term, (Retiring due to ill health. He’s sick of the legislature overriding his vetos)
We also have rational firearms laws, and getting more rational by the day.
Now I need to make a few purchases, but money is very tight.
Also, I recalled a story about the DHS buying a load of ammo. I wonder if this ties in with the above TruNews story?

Over the years , Ive often asked active duty servicemen that if the order came out to fire on American citizens, would they? Almost to a man the answer was “Hell NO”.

I hate sounding like some fool-hardy, gung-ho, war-hawk who is stupid and naive enough to believe that such a conflict is going to be somehow cool … but …
I am ready for this to happen – I want this to happen – because it seems to me to be the only viable way left to us to disinfect our diseased and corrupt system. Whether anybody wants to admit it to themselves or not, the ballot box is broken … and the decades it would take to reclaim the system via the ballot box is time that we don’t have. The statist-socialists have breached the door … they’re in the house and the only way to stop them is to eradicate them.
I want to be able to raise my children and watch them grow up in a nation where freedom, personal responsibility, duty and honor are what is taught and what is valued. I’ll be damned before I will be complicit in or silent about the chains of socialism being laid upon them.
I think the DHS and other agencies know that they cannot depend on our fine military to back them in repression of us patriots. That is why I believe they are gathering the means to do it themselves, hence the ammo stockpiling, and the acquisition of drones and other mech warfare, and the hiring of God know how many brownshirts to be their troops..
this new revolution won’t consist of another Lexington green or Concord or even Bunker Hill….the primary battles will be fought in the information, media and PR arenas. Are we prepared for that? Stockpile all the ammo you want, but I would ask you what will you do with it? If you hold out in your house and yell “Come get me!!” a convenient and very surgical drone strike will take care of you. The 2nd Amendment and our advantage in arms will be nullified one long range strike at at a time. There won’t be a cop or agent that shows up until the smoke clears. Like I’ve said before, we will be portrayed in all the state run media…aka the ogabe steno pool (I love that term) as crazies and extremists, the true face of the Tea Party. The propaganda will show any and every ugly side of our dissent, even if they have to fabricate it themselves with infiltrators or photo manipulation. That is why we MUST win the media war first, that is key. We need to get our message out and keep that message going, show the world what is going on through social media and secure servers where we can upload videos and other graphics to document what is going on.
If you think that we will all be in line of battle awaiting our Thermopylae or Agincourt, then I urge you to think again. That won’t happen, the bureaucrats will stomp any dissent down quickly and quietly…..perceived leaders will disappear first, then local armories and gun stores will be occupied, then large pockets of rebellion will be cut off, and while all this is going on we will be protrayed as crazies and extremists and un-American….and God forbid we should take down a black or hispanic or female ATF or DHS agent in battle, then we’ll be racists or worse and you know how that card gets played.
So, keep your ammo dry and cool. I have 200 – 300 rounds for each of my weapons. But I am under no illusion that I will be using that up in open rebellion, I probably wouldn’t survive past the first five rounds. We don’t need martyrs, the only thing martyrs are good for is good stories and stirring songs….that’s it….we need patriots that live and govern, ala Allen West, and patriots that live and tell the truth in the media, and patriots that live to be court judges and prosecutors and defense attorneys, we need patriots in our classrooms.
You can’t win if you die, not today…..when we write the history of this second rebellion (third if you count the 1812 war) we need patriots around to be sure it’s told truthfully and is not subject to revisionism or leftist stereotyping. You need to be sure that you’re around to make that change happen.

FEMA has internment camps awaiting our arrivals at every military post in the country outside of the northeast where never is heard a Conservative word. This is not a battle that will be won by force of arms. We are outgunned in almost every possible way. A few DHS agents here or there are not the real threat.
I love our men and women in uniform dearly, but they are trained to follow orders. When the orders come if only half of them obey it will be more than enough to bring any resistance to its knees. Imagine if the full force of the US military were brought to bear.
No in order to win you must cut out the tongue of the snake (the media) and then take the head. The ballot box may be broken but it is our only real hope.
That being said, should worse come to worse, I like many other rotties will go down fighting. I’ll be damned before I go quietly.
A thought question:
Several wise Rotties have alluded to the fact that any rebellion/revolution/insurrection will – in large part – be greatly affected by the treatment of the Administration’s propaganda service, the MSM.
Hypothetically speaking, of course, what is to stop rebels/insurrectionists from targeting MSM facilities/outlets/personnel? Would an administration attempting to subjugate an entire nation have enough resources to secure its own asses and the asses in every broadcast/media outlet?

I’d hope many states–ideally most of them W of the Mississippi, & some in the SE–would join what I think of as (borrowing a term from baseball) the Texas League. It might be be more difficult for DC to deal with an array of states sending their representatives to a new Congress & claiming that they constituted the legitimate US. (Obviously I’d hope for the states to play a role.) This would probably work better over time, though.
