Another Stray Imperial Thought
Having watched the predictable effect on the polls of the week-long saturation bombardment of smears, lies and fabrications that the panicked establishment unleashed on Gingrich after SC, we got to thinking:
Wouldn’t it be nice if that same establishment could muster just half of that dedication and determination when it came to attacking our actual enemies?
No, politics ain’t bean bag, it’s just funny that the only time the “pragmatic conservatives” dig out and embrace that principle, it’s when they’re trying to destroy one of their own. When it comes to attacking the actual enemy, the NSDWP and their King, Ogabe, it’s all about “let’s not be uncivil or unhelpful, blah, blah, blah.”
No wonder it’s called the Party of Stupid.

Im thinking a lot of confusion out there would be mitigated if the two “parties” renamed themselves with more appropriate descriptors.
The Democratic Party could be renamed the Socialist Party
and the GOP could rename themselves the Democratic Party

No such assumption. There is politics in both war and peace. In the highly unlikely occurrence that electoral politics still has relevance after November 6, the Institutional Republicans are going to be replaced as the opposition party. Most of them will join the Democrats, which is where they really belong. If electoral politics no longer has immediate meaning after November 6, even in …. kinetic times … there will have to be a Patriot political movement as a framework to Restore America. And incidentally, the Institutionals will still end up joining the Democrats, in a Vidkun Quisling sort of way, with all that implies.

Misha, the Democrats were saying the same thing when the primary fight between Obama and Hillary were taking place.
Ronald Reagan had his “Eleventh Commandment”, remember that? It seems as though these current candidates, who like to compare themselves with Reagan, seem to have forgotten it.
The ONLY person who benefits from the current primary fight is going to be Obama. I don’t know if the person who came up with the idea of all these GOP debates was a sadist or a Democratic strategic genius, but these are Obama campaign ads that write themselves — using the presumptive candidate’s own words. It is almost too painful to watch.
I had hoped for a serious alternative to Obama this time around. Not that I hate the guy, I just want something better. I am tired of settling for the lesser of two evils, or getting a “bait n’ switch” president.
I know that most of you consider Obama a (“socialist”, “marxist”, “stalinist”, “communist” without really understanding the distinct differences between them), but I don’t see him any different than the figureheads before him — wholly-owned puppets of Big Money and Special Interests — just like the occupants of the other two branches of our government.
I am at a point right now, where I would love to build a huge fence around the Washington DC swamp and make it a quarantine zone for some dangerous disease. Nobody in, nobody out. Create a new seat of government somewhere in the middle of Death Valley, where our government can meet from time-to-time to take care of business, but then want to hurry up and get home because the heat would be too uncomfortable to stay. At least then our government representatives would have a closer affinity to those of us they represent.
If anyone comes down with that Lobbyist Disease, know that it is incurable, and those people should be immediately transported to the disease zone in Washington DC, where they can be with their own kind.

They had a local rally for ‘lil lord Mittens Romney in my neck of the woods today, and I went just to see. I was going to vote for Newt before I went, and wanted to see prince Mittens live to just see for myself and hear him speak. I went there after having about 3/12 hours’ sleep after working the graveyard shift, but like I said,… I came, I waited and WAITED while his handlers finished powdering and preening his wannabe majesty, (@ 1 hr 15 min WAIT) and in person, YES, he’s the prissy little sugarbritches preppy-boy I always thought he was.
I went straight from the rally to one of our local Early Voting polling sites and voted for Newt. I was completely in Mr. Cain’s corner when he was running, and his withdrawal was a kick in the nuts for me. Today I considered Newt to be the best one we’ve got right now, and I personally think that doesn’t bode well for our side. On the other hand, there were Paul-bots AND Occupy fleabags outside the rally site. The OWS fleabags HAD to stay in plain sight, because with the shit they were trying to stir, they knew they’d get their asses beat the moment no one was looking! I went up to them, made the sign of the Cross, and walked away. As soon as I was about 75-100 meters away, they started talking trash, and I knew I’d won. About 4 blocks away, a couple of other OWS fleabags had an old van parked with placards, and I couldn’t resist pulling up and saying, “Hey, just take a bath, get a job, and a life!!” They were just sitting there with scowls on their faces before I pulled up and made my comment, and as soon as I did, some little old hippie-hag started cussing like there was no tomorrow. I won again! Hey, if any of those Occupy fleabags decided to mess with me while I was in my pickup truck, they’d have met “Babydoll”, my favorite 1911, barrel first. Yes, I have my permit and carry legally, maybe that’s why the Occupy maggots don’t mess with people down here like they do up North in the anti-2nd Amendment Nazi-led locales!
I like that much better than my asteroid strike fantasy.
Im kinda wondering why we need to maintain a “seat of govt” for the legislators. Technology being what it is they could stay HOME and cast their “votes”. That way they are immediately accountable to their constituents and decentralized making them harder to reach by the lobbyists. No more transportation issues. etc. etc.

I agree, Troy. Keep them sons-of-bitches right were we can keep an eye on them — and accessible to US. Maybe have them in a glass-enclosed box in a 10,000 seat auditorium where we could come and watch them work and give them a piece of our mind when they are voting for something.
