Because apparently the latest fad among the notRomneys who have, apparently, finally woken up from their slumber to attack Mittens ORomneyCare, appears to be going apoplectic about Mittens firing under-performing employees and shutting down deadbeat companies who ought to have been left to die a long time ago.

Damn, where we come from that used to be called “capitalism” and it used to be a Good Thing™ but hey, apparently the “true conservatives” in the GOP Ship of Fools have decided that it isn’t anymore.

So, is His Majesty to understand that from henceforth, true conservatives are in favor of underworked, overpaid, incompetent, impossible to fire union employees, for instance? Because obviously New Conservatism™ means never firing anybody, ever, for any reason at all.

Seriously? Anybody have a party label we can borrow, because this new “conservatism” doesn’t fit us very well at all. Time for a change. Besides, the “Internationalniy” only sounds good when the Red Army Choir does it. Somehow we can’t imagine it half as rousing if baa’ed out by a bunch of graying, overweight career politicians.

Still, we have to hand it to Ace when he says this:

When Romney went after Perry claiming he wanted to end Social Security, and hitting him generally for calling it unconstitutional (it arguably is) and a ponzi scheme (it likely is), people said, “Hey, these are general election liabilities; Perry should have to respond to these charges. The left will make them.”

Well, same deal with Bain Capital. This is a general election liability; Romney should have to respond to these charges. The left will hit him on this (and in fact already is).

But instead it’s this full-court press that you can’t say that.

Why not? Why does Romney get a complete Hall Pass throughout the entire primary season?

Yes, Ace, he has. From the Gentry Establishment GOP because anybody who might upset their gravy train a bit and try to push them away from the trough a bit frightens the shit out of them and, besides, “it’s Mittens’ turn”, which always works out so well for us. Just ask Presidents McCain and Dole before him. And from the DNCMedia because they desperately want Mittens the Unelectable to be the nominee so they can hammer him into a thin, smelly paste before the general election.

But you’re right: It is a general election liability, whether it’s “fair” or not. There are two major issues in this election. Make that five. 1) Jobs, 2) Jobs, 3) Jobs, 4) Jobs and 5) ObamaCare. And it’s not going to be very helpful to the GOP candidate in the general election that he can be portrayed, without even trying all that hard, as a fat cat 1% destroyer of good American jobs for personal profit. It takes no talent to draw that caricature, and don’t anybody start preaching to me about how what he did was actually healthy for the economy, how he helped weed out the bad to use the resources for better things that created more and better jobs or, for that matter, how the companies that weren’t cut to pieces and sold were actually saved by Bain Capital’s actions, where they might just have died off on their own, leaving everybody unemployed.

Don’t preach to me about that, because I already know that just as well as any other conservative, the real kind, does. I’m not the feeble-minded “only interested in anything but Oprah once every four years” voter that you need to convince.

Preview of the general election debate in the worst economy since, well, ever: On the one hand we have Obama, painting a gross, oversimplified caricature of somebody who did, undeniably, have a hand in killing some jobs and who is therefore an Evil Enemy of the Proletariat Who Can Be Counted on to Kill Even MORE Jobs if Elected President™ and, on the other, we have the argument that he was only recovering dying assets to put them to better use in more profitable ventures with better long term prospects (let us show a couple of dozen graphs and Power Point presentations to illustrate how this works) and who, by applying Lean Six Sigma principles to other companies managed to keep them profitable and thus save the majority of the jobs with them which led to… blah, blah blech.

All of that is true, but 85% of independent voters didn’t make it through to “dying assets” before they fell asleep or were too busy hurling empty Milwaukee’s Best cans at the TV while booing and shouting “he killed JOBS!”

Which, according to the NRO (National Romney Online) translates to “most electable candidate by far”, which means that they desperately need a dictionary not authored by Saul Alinsky.

Shouldn’t that be brought front and center before the SS RomneyTanic sets sail for a collision course with the DNCMedia’s ice berg?

We’ve said it before and we’ll be only too happy to say it again: It doesn’t matter fuck all what the truth is, because the majority of voters will not be allowed by the DNCMedia to be exposed to it and, besides, most of them don’t have the attention span to sit through it.

So yes, fair or not, Bain Capital is going to sink Mittens in the general election.

And then there’s the other issue, ObamaCare.

Again, we bring you a preview of the general election debates, featuring Ogabe and Mittens Obamney: Crickets chirping… Why? Because Mittens won’t be able to bring up a single point about OgabeCare for the very simple fact that Ogabe’s best retort will be “why yes, you did one heck of a job designing it for me, my friend, and thanks for letting me borrow your guys to refine it.”

So there you have it: A candidate against Ogabe who won’t be able to bring up the only two issues that voters give a shit about because he’ll be killed on both issues. He will enter the debates pre-neutered, leaving the NSDWP and their Court Press in the DNCMedia to focus entirely upon bullshit issues that mean nothing to any block of voters big enough to matter.

Oh, and one more thing, and this one thanks to Gladiator, who pointed us to HillBuzz, who have a piece about Mormonism and how it’s going to play out in a general election where Mittens is the candidate. We won’t excerpt it, because you really need to read the whole thing.

It’s not a criticism of Mormonism, not at all (if it were we wouldn’t give a royal farthing about it since we couldn’t care less about Mittens’ personal faith, no matter how much the DNCMedia tells us that it’s the only thing we care about), it’s a preview of how the bigoted swine of the DNCMedia and NSDWP (but we repeat ourself) are going to play it. We, personally, have no issue with Mormonism whatsoever beyond us not being Mormon, but then again we’re not a lot of things. As a matter of fact, we’ll happily and honestly state that, among all of the proselytizing religions/denominations out there, Mormon proselytizers stand out as being exceptionally polite, well-mannered and, most importantly of all to us, non-pushy.

But if Mittens ends up being the one to go up against the liberal propaganda machine’s Favorite Son, we’ll be in a distinct minority after a few months of their politics of personal destruction. Once those “tolerant” liberals set their sights upon somebody who is an “other” and unleash their full fury demonizing them, a nuclear blast will look like an unusually warm September day by comparison. You feel that you’re sometimes looked upon askance by other religions at this point in time, my Mormon friends?

You just wait until the Prognazis are done with going after Mittens’ faith. Once those famously “tolerant of every other creed” liberals are done with their full court press on your “otherness”, you’ll be branded as satanic, misogynistic, racist, weirdo believers in magic underwear sacrificing infants to Moloch every other Sunday right after tea. And those will be the mild bits.

You don’t believe me? Listen, unlike you lucky native-born Americans, I was born and grew up in a country where Alinskyism and all that goes with it was halfway an acceptable religion and, moreover, thanks to my youthful ignorance, I spent years within that very machine observing it in action, learning all of its component parts and how to employ them to maximum effect. My only excuse for my adolescent idiocy is that I was young, dumb and full of cum and, at any rate, it taught me things about the enemy that I could not have learned otherwise.

My point is, you’ll be fucked over right royally and, once they’re done, you’ll rank at the level of Charles Manson. If you’re lucky. The DNCMedia will do to you what Ogabe has done to race relations in this country, with interest. You’re a minority and thus easily demonized for political gain. Just ask the Jews. And no, socialists haven’t changed at all since they put “national” in front of it, they’ve just become better at hiding what they really are.

Now, you might say that you don’t give a fuck about the odds if it’s a fight worth having, and I’d agree with you. The Alinskyites and their soulless, subhuman tactics are not invincible and you can’t ever win a war by retreating all the time.

But over Mittens Obamneycare? Really? Is that the hill you want to die on?

Dammit, we’ll die with you rather than submit to the alternative as a matter of principle, you don’t deserve that kind of treatment, but we don’t think that it’s the hill offering the best field of fire.

Anyway, we’ve rambled on for too long.

All we’re saying is that there’s a reason that the DNCMedia have laid off Mittens so far, their only mistake at this point is pushing the Bain Capital angle which they really ought to have held off until the fix was in as it’s going to be one of their main lines of attack as soon as the GOP primaries are over, and it isn’t that Mittens is the “most electable candidate”, no matter WHAT the RINOstablishment tells you.

We thought everybody learned that after the DNCMedia “most electable candidate”, Maverick McCain, got utterly butchered after he got the nod, but obviously some people are too fucking thick to find a clue in a clue field.

Thatisall.

Got a survey/begging letter from the rnc the other day. I just stuck it back in the(postage-paid) envelope with the note that when they jammed Oromna down my throat this Goldwater republican would be voting for the kenyan and hoping they all burn when the Iranians finish building their little suprise.

FOISTIES – my first

Today is primary day in New Hampshire. This registered Independent will be pulling a Republican ballot. One problem. I still haven’t decided who to vote for. I”m not voting for Mittens, Paul should climb back into his spaceship and go find Hale-Bopp. Gingrich? I can’t get that picture of him making nice with Bela Pelosi on that couch. Who is… Read more »

Is Sarah Palin checking fire waiting(hoping) for a brokered convention so she can lead the coup d’état?

Light29ID – no. Just look at who(m) Todd Palin endorsed… Angrywebmaster – Allen West. My Liege, I read Kevin’s article on HillBuzz, and put my plug nickle’s worth on there. I haven’t been a fan of Mittens for the last 10 years, WELL before he thought of running for POTUS. I’d often comment that he was “too plastic” for me,… Read more »

And this is why you are The Emperor of this corner of the world. Saturation during your youth, then realization in adulthood allows for observation of enemy tactics unforeseen by those who have no knowledge of their technique.

From your keyboard to the Mama Grizzlie’s ear. Alaska colors ready to bend on below the US Colors and the First Navy Jack on my flagpole. One of the few things that would keep me in the Republican party after the Republican convention.

Well I voted. I also wrote up what I saw at the polling place. Three people, all independents pulling Republican ballots. Once they finished, they unenrolled and returned to the rolls of independents.

A brokered convention would be excellent at this point – let the NSDP think it is going to be Mittens then at 11.59PM pull a Palin or Jindal out of the hat! So many heads would explode the NSDP would lose 25% of their base (and maybe 10% of the RINOS) … please Lord, hear our voices :em01:

I was thinking of replacing “Republican” with “Labour”, then noticed it was asking for a new name for us. I requested deletion, but obviously that didn’t happen.

I recall during the sixties when the Weather Underground, the SDS, and the other collective whackos were serious about taking over the country they estimated they would have to kill around 25,000,000 Americans. They were concerned about the logistics of dealing with that many bodies significantly more than they expressed any moral qualms. I suppose to make an omelet you… Read more »
