FDR, Greatest President EVAH!

His Imperial Majesty is currently going through his copy of the Politically Incorrect Guide to American History that a kind reader sent to us, and it is certainly enlightening, to say the very least. And yes, that was a British Understatement™.

It is chock full of un-PC goodness squashed utterly in what passes for “education” these days and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Quotes such as this one from FDR when his brilliant plan to hike prices on food while everybody was starving in his Great Depression was struck down by the Supremes:

“Are we going to take the hands of the federal government completely off any effort to adjust the growing of national crops, and go right straight back to the old principle that every farmer is a lord of his own farm and can do anything he wants, raise anything, any old time, in any quantity, and sell any time he wants?”

Why the HORROR! Individuals owning the land they live on, doing with it what they please and keeping the fruits of their labors?

It’s no wonder he loved Josef Stalin so much, even though he never quite managed to copy “Uncle Joe”‘s achievement in the Ukraine.

But it was not for a lack of trying.

Thatisall.
