Ignoring the Obvious

Now Ace is retaining water as well, simply not believing that Newt, being an admittedly and obvious not exactly “true conservative” candidate and that’s putting it mildly, could possibly hold a commanding lead over “whatever you want I’ll say it” Mittens.

It obviously still hasn’t dawned on some people: After three years of a scumbag SCOAMF who lied through his teeth every time he opened his mouth, the people of this nation aren’t quite ready to hand over the office to somebody else who, no matter what letter he might put after his name, is every bit as much of a lying, narcissistic, self-loving, weather vane, dishonest scumbag as SCOAMF.

We guess that the “serious thinkers” as in “can’t put up a post less than 45,000 words on the issue” haven’t quite yet gotten to the point where they’re ready to admit that the only “electable” candidate is hated and despised even more than the subhuman sack of shit he’s trying to replace.

Keep phlucking that chicken, why don’t you?

Thatisall.

I was listening to Howie Carr up here in the Northeast Today. He is not a RINO, but if you listen to him he can’t see past the Massachusetts filters. He really doesn’t understand how hated Obomney is in the rest of the country.

I did see how Ann Coulter tore apart Herman Cain’s latest accuser. Looks like another fraud out for a buck

I really hate to see Mr Cain give up the good fight, to quit the race. We cannot let the Dems win. You owe it to your children and grandchildren to hold your collective noses and vote for the candidate most likely to oust Obama in November. We have a better chance against a RINO (or a not as conservative as I’d like he/she to be) in the WH versus the one who occupies it today.

Please remember that. This may go down in the US history books. (And the world’s, considering what the results in Egypt’s elections are pointing to.)

But yes indeed they can’t see this. It would be nice if Ace and his apparent new lover AllahP, were outliers here, they could be accused as being on to something, but they’re really ‘get in the line’ with all the other intellectuals, unfortunately including Coulter. She’s going to have go a long damn way to get me back after that assault on my intelligence. Gawd but she musta been smoking whatever Rick had with his ‘heartless’ comment. By the way Coulter we were in EXACTLY the same fucking place, fighting against the nomination of McTraitor last time around, thank you very much. We really rLLY hate it when your type accuses our type of conservatism as being idiot-neanderthals. While were at it we’ve always considered Falwell as a nutter for many reasons, so where in hell did you get that one to attempt hanging around our neck? As for the “y’all don’t like Romney cuz he’s a Mormon” meme, you can go fuck yourself very much on that too. We can say for the record we can’t stand the Romflopper because he is a horrid flip-flopper that can be counted on to say whatever the latest focus group and his finger testing the winds say it is for that day, hell maybe the hour says, along with agreeing with nearly every liberal idea, global wormening, abortion, etc. Does this remind you of anyone that governed by this mentality? Romney is every bit as craven as Bubba was, choosing to seek consensus vice making real tough decisions on your own out of conviction. Romney comes across to me as phony as a used car salesman, I sense no real convictions in the panoply of his different personalities and that is an irrevocable and intolerable flaw for someone hoping to be our Chief Exec and C-in-C.

What the fuck is it, with otherwise good conservatives that turn them on occasion, into cannibals? Is anyone else damned sick and tired of defending ourselves to hostility from our own side?

Newt is going to get the nomination, and then his landslide victory over Obama is going to Reganesque.

I’m old enough to remember how the mainstream media portrayed Reagan as dangerous, and how his winning the nomination would be BETTER for Carter because the moderates were more likely to vote for Bush, and how the moderates were the key to the election. They the media tried all during the summer of 1980 to convince us that the race was close, and Carter would eventually pull away after yet another supposed Reagan gaffe.

I fully expect them to run the same playbook this time around. They already are as far as Romney being the ONLY one who can beat Obama because the moderates are the key, and Newt can’t win the moderates. Really, it’s their bread and butter because it’s the only playbook they have.

    I’ve decided.

I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one feeling as if I’m watching yet another rerun of a show that I already know by heart. Oh yes, that “unelectable” Reagan. Dimwit, radical, unable to appeal to the “independents”, certain to go down in a colossal defeat, blah, blah, blah, blah, blech. And no, I’m not insulting the Gipper’s memory by comparing him to Newtface, it’s just the story line I find so depressingly predictable. I feel the same way about the other supposedly and, in my opinion, far better “unelectable” candidates in the race.

For instance, I still like Perry. I, unlike the “enlightened” punditocracy who seem to know to within a margin of error of one millionth of a percent what the Great Middle™ care about and will vote for, am supremely UNconcerned with his lack of showmanship in the “debates.” If I thought that was important in a president, I’d be writing in Mr. Trebek every four years.

Somehow I doubt that, say, the issues between us and Iran will be decided by the future president and Ahmadinnerjacket appearing on a game show moderated by Wolf Blitzer with the outcome decided by viewers texting their votes a la American Idol. I reckon, as we Texans are wont to say, that Mr. Perry has other ideas in mind.

But what do I know? I’m just a mere Emperor of the Entire Universe (and Outlying Counties).

So, unless whoever NotMitt happens to be when the primaries come to Texas looks like he’s going to need my vote, I plan on voting for my governor. I may not agree with him on everything, I may not be overly impressed with his ability to fire off snazzy one-liners under the pressure of a buzzer and he may have downright pissed me off at times with stupid ideas and careless choices of words (that he later backed down from when he realized that his foot was in his mouth, rather like any other human being I know, including myself), but he’s a guy that I trust to say what he means and do what he says.

Not to mention that life here in Texas has been purdy dang fine under his “unenlightened”, “ignorant”, “not ready for prime time” leadership. I’m for damn sure happy that I don’t live in Massachusetts, in case you’re wondering, no matter how blindingly brilliant they tell me that Mittens is.

    So there.
