2012 Is Coming, You Might As Well Get Ready

And you can safely disregard any and all speculations about who the GOP nominee is going to be, because it ultimately doesn’t matter.

Nor does the outcome, as far as things getting ugly are concerned.

There are two main possible outcomes:

1) Il Douche is trounced in the election, in which case we’ll have the Occutards and their ilk creating mayhem because their affirmative action socialist Ear Leader didn’t get re-elected.

2) The outcome isn’t outside the NSDWP Margin of Fraud, resulting in serious unrest and mayhem as Americans not content with watching their children and grandchildren living in abject poverty under the boot heel of socialism decide that enough’s enough.

Alright, we’ll admit that there is a 2a) here, in which enough ballot boxes containing, unexpectedly!, nothing but votes for Ear Leader are “discovered” lying around in closets, outhouses and walk-in closets to squeeze him through to re-election, but everybody still agrees to accept the obvious fraud in the interest of “civility”, but that doesn’t matter either. It will only delay the inevitable, because when our economy by necessity collapses in a smoking heap of fail as a result of Ogabe and the NSDWP’s tried and untrue policies, it’s going to get ugly anyway.

So you might as well get ready.

Thatisall.

Already throwing in the towel? Because all I am seeing is you trying to talk yourself into reasons why Obama won re-election. Never mind that none of the current Republican Clown Car is full of … well, clowns.

I shouldn’t include Jon Huntsman, but nobody takes him seriously enough to even warrant attention. Pity, out of all of them, I would pick him over Obama.

Now unless you have a third party candidate up your sleeve, I think that the inevitable is going to be that Obama gets another go at the figurehead position. The Big Money just want a place holder and Obama pretty much fits that bill. Obama can go golf, you get to continue to complain, and the people continue to wallow while the One Percent continue to rake in the cash.

Think about this for a moment.

Who in the fuck is going to “fix” anything? Can you think of even one candidate out of all of them running who has the brains, gumption, and even clout to get anything done? You can instantly subtract Cain, Bachmann, and Newt — they never really wanted the job in the first place. They are only there to increase their name brand. They are there for the money, not the job.

So who does that leave? Perry? He will never make it. Paul? He will never get the support of the Republican power brokers. Romney? The man has been on every side of every issue at least twice. Besides, a lot of people will never get past his religion. Gary Johnson? I’ll bet Tim Pawlenty wishes he never dropped out right now — he could have been the last man standing. Huntsman’s “crime” is that he served with Obama. (that and the Mormon thing)

The way I see it, the Right needs to find a last minute entry or they will be doing a lot of nose holding a year from now.

I think you are subconsciously realizing that we are stuck with Obama for another four years and you need to tell yourself there must be some kind of underhandedness going on in order for him to have won. The Left did it in 2004 when Bush got re-elected, so I can fully understand the feeling. Bush stole that election also. (See how that works?)

I am telling you right now, that I am not all that happy with prospect of another four years of Obama either. I would LOVE to see a Democratic Primary challenger take him on. Not exactly sure who that would be — it’s not like the Democrats have a deep bench to choose from either.

So please, let’s see a third Party candidate — a Neither / Nor.

    DJ,

His Majesty’s latest screed doesn’t sound like someone trying to soften the blow to me. Instead, he is making what I think is a safe prediction, given the way the Democrat Party operates and the realistic nature of a presidential election using our constitution.

The popular vote is not the issue – it’s getting enough electoral votes to win or (failing that) mustering the required number of senators and representatives in Congress to vote in a President. Hence, the battleground states are key. The Democrats clean up the Northeast and the Left coast. The Republican usually carries the south, the great planes, and most of the Rocky mountain region. The battleground states are Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Missouri, and West Virginia. The candidate who wins these, wins the election.

Given the way the Democrats tried to steal the 2000 election in Florida and how they’ve violated the law in other places to get their folks into office (Senator Al Franken. The name still makes me laugh…), the Republican candidate needs to win by huge margins to avoid a repeat.

In any case, His Majesty’s warning seems clear: the polarization of America – and the tactics of the Democrat Party in particular – guarantees upheaval in the wake of the 2012 election.

As to the current slate of Republican candidates, any one of them is far superior to President Obama and would do a better job. I’d say two candidates are out there who would make splendid presidents: Rick Santorum – he’s not getting much traction, but if he could, he’d clean Obama’s clock, and; Michelle Bachmann. They have legitimate Conservative credentials and experience in Washington. Bachmann in particular has an impressive resume’ and could leave President Obama looking foolish in a debate.

And happy Thanksgiving to you and all the other LM’s.

Why should I worry about the majority of the people? My ego’s big enough for all of me. :em05:

My view is just that — MY view. It’s how I see things from where I am standing. You might have a completely different view because you are looking at things from another perspective. It doesn’t make either viewpoint invalid.

    Think of the following example:

You and I are looking at a house. I am approaching from the front and you are approaching from the back. The front is all nicely landscaped, the house is freshly painted, and it looks warm and inviting. The back is a mess, with weeds, garbage, and some of the windows are covered up with plywood or black plastic garbage bags. I tell you that the house looks nice and you tell me that the house is a dump. Are either of us wrong?

Yes, I know that is a simplistic example, and things aren’t quite so disparate. But it illustrates the possibility that two or more people can look at the same thing and see completely different things — and none of them be wrong.

    FrJim, Imperial Chaplain says:

His Majesty’s latest screed doesn’t sound like someone trying to soften the blow to me. Instead, he is making what I think is a safe prediction, given the way the Democrat Party operates and the realistic nature of a presidential election using our constitution.

    FrJim,

Seven years ago you could have replaced the word “Democrat” with “Republican” and had the same exact sentenced voiced by Liberals. As I said above, the general consensus of Liberals following the 2004 election was that Bush “stole” it. The same thing will repeat itself in 2012 when Obama wins re-election.

My point in commenting here was that Misha started greasing the machinery in preparation for such an occurrence, much like the Democrats did just prior to the 2004 election between Kerry and Bush. For the most part, Democrats weren’t all that excited with Kerry, he was just the last man standing to become the party nomination. Deep down inside, most of us knew that Kerry might come close but he wouldn’t win. So the excuses were made in advance by warnings of possible election fraud so that if Kerry did lose, they could point to that as a reason.

When I read Misha’s piece here, I was reminded of the stuff leading up to the 2004 election. Same argument, different players.

    FrJim, Imperial Chaplain says:

The popular vote is not the issue – it’s getting enough electoral votes to win or (failing that) mustering the required number of senators and representatives in Congress to vote in a President.

Isn’t that the strategy of any presidential election — to get the majority of electoral votes? Again, I refer back to what the Left-wing perception was in 2004 with Ohio, another “battleground” state and the claims of election fraud. The argument you are using is exactly the same, “given the way the Democrats Republicans tried to steal stole the 2000 election in Florida [...]” (the Court stepped in and stopped the state from counting, leaving the count unresolved. Had the re-count favored Gore, then the Right would forever be claiming that HE stole the election. No matter how you look at it, someone would have “stolen” it)

    FrJim, Imperial Chaplain says:

I’d say two candidates are out there who would make splendid presidents: Rick Santorum – he’s not getting much traction, but if he could, he’d clean Obama’s clock, and; Michelle Bachmann. They have legitimate Conservative credentials and experience in Washington. Bachmann in particular has an impressive resume’ and could leave President Obama looking foolish in a debate.

And therein lies your problem. like the Left, the Right believes that the majority of people are core voters. They aren’t. Each side can always count on no more than 20 percent who will vote their core values in every election. In order to win, they have to get a large percentage of those of us in the middle. (which for a lot of people here, the “middle” is apparently made up of “Marxists” because even the “middle” is too “Left” for them)

And I am curious, FrJim, what exactly IS that “resume” of Michelle Bachmann? Is there one bill that she’s authored or sponsored that passed? For that matter, what exactly has she done for the past six years that point to an “impressive resume’”?

Sure, Obama’s “career” in the Senate isn’t all that much better, except that in less than a term he did get two bills through.

Interestingly, there has only been one president elected directly from the U.S. House of Representatives, and that was James Garfield.

Besides, I don’t think that Bachmann’s motivation for running in the primary has anything to do with actually wanting the job of president. She is in it for the money, and to possibly to boost her prestige in the House. She has her eye on a leadership role in the House — quite possibly to yank the job away from The Boner. Short of that, she may decide to go out into the private sector and start raking in the money in the media, like Sarah.

There is more power in being the “king maker” than being the king.

    Odahi says:

Is it possible to reverse course and save our collective asses?

Sure. Take Big Money and Corporate Money out of our elections. Corporations, Unions, and Special Interests are NOT people. Money is NOT speech. We are where we are at right now because our elected officials are bought and paid for. Unless we do something about taking money and influence out of our election process, it won’t matter who we elect — they will still be owned by the Big Money interests that put them there.

Until we all recognize that, we are doomed to continue on the way we are.

Hard core ideology on both sides of the spectrum has never really changed. It’s the middle that flows from one side to the other — always has. No president has ever won an election without the vote being decided by the middle. It is why virtually all candidates make a hard turn to the middle from their positions in the primary. If you want to get elected, you must be palatable to those middle voters. It is exactly the reason why Bachmann and Santorum will never become president. While being completely unrelenting in Conservative values, the middle will never vote for them. Like it or not, it is still a form of coalition voting. The cores of either parties can never carry it off by themselves.

    LC TerribleTroy says:

The key word is “IF”. I don’t think he did, but it will never stop the excuses — and the losing side will always have their excuses. As far as the fortitude? There is a lot of truth to the saying that “Democrats are like trying to herd cats”. They have a larger spectrum of policy than the narrow band of Conservatism. It is not uncommon to have a wide disparity of beliefs inside of the Democratic Party, where it is not common at all to have it within the Republican Party.

As far as the “conspiracy” behind a stolen election, understand that there are still several active conspiracies behind the JFK assassination. There are still people who believe that the moon landing was a hoax, or that George Bush planned and executed the attacks on 9/11. (which would make him and the government he ran the smartest and the most efficient and loyal organization ever)

I agree that President Obama is a symptom of a much larger problem (or set of problems). Two such monoliths come to my mind instantly.

    1. Ignorance of our Constitution and our fundamental philosophical underpinings. America is the anti-socialism / anti-tyranny. Sadly too many see it as just one bull-headed opinion. Part of this ignorance is institutional, the other part cultural. In both cases, America moves rapidly towards its demise as people see the socialism of the Democrat Party (and its incarnation in the current President) as a valid American expression of politics.

    2. Consumerism / Celebrity culture. Advertising and the drive to produce markets for goods and services warps America’s vision of reality. Too much time in front of a TV set (guilty!) and even the Internet with its twisted, slanted, dishonest messages intended to sell stuff is soul poison. Part and parcel of this is the stilted worship of stupid people who somehow get the attention of the media. Hence people seem more interested in who Jennifer Anniston is dating than the horrendous debt piled on by the last Congress or the insane bailouts of the last Bush administration and their enablers in the Congress.

I’m aware of it Dave, and you are correct, given my studies of the Federal Reserve, fractional banking and the present system of crony capitalism now being implemented. I play with numbers, and derivatives scare the shit out of me. There is simply no way to fix this. Banks and governments will not be simply impoverished, they will be destroyed. And who do you think th government will protect? Who have they protected? Fascism will prove the end result until we have a clean capitalist system again, if possible. Personally I doubt it. Our government protects the banksters when it should be prosecuting them. These banks should have gone bankrupt, the economy would have cleaned it up without government help. Of course the shareholders would have killed the management, but no great loss there. That is clean capitalism. Politicians like Barney Frank should be rotting in prison. And he is but one of many I could name. Sadly, until punishment is swift, sure and severe any further deregulation will result in more abuses, Glass Steagal a prime example. There is great historical precedent for this…..I wish it were different….so very much I wish.
I am infuriated with government meddling in these affairs, they creating far more problems then they solve….I am angered by these idiot socialists decrying capitalism when captialism is not the problem, socialism never works. I am not buying into that “Socialism” drivel that the Right likes to shovel out there. We have always had a “socialist” streak in this country going all the way back to the beginning. We’ve survived as long as we have because there has been that just-right mixture of both Capitalism with a sprinkling of Socialism.

Yeah, I know, just the very suggestion takes most of your breaths away. But the honest truth is that Capitalism (like Socialism) can never sustain itself on its own. It is impossible. But find the right mixture between the two and it has allowed us to get to where we have. Start taking one away from the other, and we end up with exactly the problems we are having now.

    LC HJ Caveman82952 says:

Our government protects the banksters when it should be prosecuting them.

Stop it! You are starting to sound like a Liberal!

The government protects the Banksters and Wall Street exactly because the Banksters and Wall Street OWN our government. This is exactly what the #Occupy movement is all about. Subtract all of that corporate media hype about what THEY say it is about, and you will find that they are saying exactly what you just said.

It is what you get when you have the Court say corporations are “People” and their money is their “speech”. All that does is give them a license to purchase their influence. They put Obama into office and supported congressional candidates who will ensure their bail outs for their recklessness, but not the consequences for that reckless behavior.

They bought a government that will allow them to privatize their profits while socializing their losses. And they continue to pay for that influence.

You’re right, there is no simple solution. Any possible solution brings up their own set of “problems.” The question is, which problems do we want to have to deal with?

I suppose I could have added that, no matter what, the final outcome of Teh Ugly™, once the dust settles, is going to be favorable to the side who actually gives a shit about what this nation is all about as envisioned by the “dead white men” without whom we wouldn’t have a nation. The White Hats will win, it helps immensely when one side has a near monopoly on force and skills, but it’s still going to get ugly before we get there.

Which is why all of us would rather that it never gets to that point, but once you realize that things are coming to a head, you might as well prepare to make the transition as quick and painless as humanly possible.

This is “throwing in the towel?”

Well, if roping your sails and battening down the hatches when you see a storm on the horizon as opposed to pretending that it’s not there at all is “throwing in the towel”, then I suppose you might have a point. It’s just that I’ve survived a number of nasty storms at sea and it sure as Hades wasn’t because I refused to acknowledge the storm’s presence and just carried on regardless.

And then I made the observation that Il Douche couldn’t possibly win the next election honestly. Please, this is somehow not a simple observation? He and his First Wookie are currently ranking below Yersinia Pestis in the polls. Jimmeh Cah’duh was positively adored by the people before he got steam-rollered compared to SCOAMF’s current standing.

I would agree that constantly saying “he is going to steal the election” might sound like something a liberal would say if, and only IF it wasn’t for the fact that the Democrats have a long and rather well-documented history of actual organized election fraud and actual voter intimidation tactics, as opposed to the liberals’ claims about the GOP which, to this date, have not been substantiated by anything even remotely resembling actual evidence. No matter how hard the DNC’s propaganda arm, the MSM, have tried and they’ve tried pretty damn hard.

For example: In spite of numerous “recounts” conducted by the media after 2000, and no matter how absurdly their “recount” methods would favor the NSDWP, not even the New York Times could come up with a scenario under which Gore would have won Florida. Or how about all of the liberal allegations of voter intimidation in Florida? Not a single one of those idiotic claims has in any way been supported by actual evidence. As opposed to the very real Black Panther incident in 2008 which, because it was so well documented and proven, was immediately swept under the rug by Accessory to Murder Holder’s “Justice” Department.

Ohio in 2004? Puh-lease. What was the margin of victory there again? Tens of thousands? Let’s be real here: The Party of Stoopid couldn’t organize a clusterfuck in a Thai whorehouse during Fleet Week, yet we’re supposed to believe that they could somehow manage to manufacture a few tens of thousands of votes for Dubya without a single soul in the know coming out to blow the whistle on it?

That kind of crap makes the Alex Joneses sound like veritable prophets of truth.

I’m not “preparing myself for the inevitable Obongo victory” or “throwing in the towel.”

I’m merely observing, as anybody who actually bothered to read what I wrote would know, that A) things are going to get ugly no matter who wins in ’12 and B) there is no way that the most unpopular president in the history of the United States can win reelection without resorting the fraud for which the NSDWP have become justifiably and provably known.

    “Throw in the towel?”

A combination of socialism and capitalism? Hmmm….I don’t think that was in the minds of the Founders, DJ. They wanted to balance the problems associated with the dark side of the human condition by building in certain safeguards that confounded government’s tendency towards the tyrannical.

Adam Smith does a wonderful job explaining the built in correctives to capitalism…and they work. Just ask Circuit City’s former CEO. Or Border’s books. Or Arthur Andersen.

When government interferes with the free market’s corrective impetus, disaster generally strikes. GM’s business model hasn’t changed…which only prolongs the inevitable. Same with Chrysler. Or TARP. Or Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac.

The founders understood that economic freedom, not government, is the key to advancing society and filtering out the problems inherent with commerce.

Your suggestion that the delivery of a 10kt nuke in a vehicle would somehow be prevented by “the searching of vehicles coming into this country” is ludicrous. Just how do you propose to search virtually all vehicles entering this country so as to prevent such an act? Has Paul indicated that he would absolutely rule out the searching of vehicles if warranted by intelligence. What makes you think that “Paul really is that fuckin’ dumb”? It seems you have built up a straw man only to knock him down without seriously considering his positions. He has repeatedly made it clear that our national defense, including the defense of our border, is his highest priority. Please do not confuse his rejection of globalist militarism with isolationism. The best defense is a strong homeland, not an over-extended, imperialistic, offensive-minded military.

The short answer: neither. Certainly a lot of allegations, but that isn’t “proof” positive.

Longer answer: Both Parties have waxed on about the other’s “dirty tricks” or influences into election fraud. That doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been election fraud before, there certainly has — and continues to be. Recent reports of those “robo-calls” to Democratic districts in Wisconsin explaining how their polling day had been changed from Tuesday to Wednesday is a prime example. Does that mean the Republican Party was involved? Probably not — neither party is going to be that stupid to have something like that come back on them. But that doesn’t stop people or groups of people from running their own scams.

But if the Liberal dares to say something that runs counter to what you believe in, then he is several magnitudes lower than whatever bad thing you can think of at the moment.

You see, in your world, Skye, it is alright to call people names, talk shit about them, and generally disrespect them repeatedly as you see fit. But heaven help it if your wittle bitty feewings get hurt if I dare to give back one tenth of what you dish out.

The thing is, Skye, I usually start out being nice and respectful in all of my conversations and discussions. It is only when someone comes at me with their caustic smear that I decide to return the favor. I used to overlook most of it.

G’wan, go back and look. See where it comes to the point where I become “condescending” and “insulting”. I think you’ll find that it is usually preceded by the asshattery of others first.

I am more than willing to discuss things rationally and respectfully. But the time is now long past where I am just going to sit here and take the bullshit that gets thrown out there because someone is completely unable to formulate an argument for themselves or articulate it in such a way that perhaps just maybe they might get a valid point across.

After all, if you are going to convince me that your stance is the correct one, you are going to be able to convince me a lot easier if you aren’t calling me names or acting like a bull dyke in a MSNBC prison show.

    Now on to your points:

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Our post office is in the red to the tune of billions.

Hmmm. Have you ever asked why this is, and how it got to be that way? Here is a little factoid for you. The Post Office, like no other private or government entity present or past is being required to “pre-fund” its retiree health care benefits out seventy-five years into the future, thanks to the Republican’s “Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006″ No other company or business has EVER been required to do something like this. Prior to that, the Post Office operated like any other business on a pay-as-you-go basis for retirement benefits — just like every other company that has such a thing.

Granted, business is declining on paper mail, thanks to the Internet. But it is still able to deliver a letter virtually anywhere within a day or two. Hell, they even deliver packages for UPS and FedEx to places that those two companies don’t have a presence. (which is actually a HUGE chunk of real estate that UPS and FedEx don’t deliver to) And the Post Office is still able to do it for less than their private counterparts.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Infrastructure? Crumbling all over the country.

Again, who do we have to blame for that? Republicans don’t like to fund any infrastructure projects. Ask Tim Pawlenty, a prime example. But lets talk about current affairs dealing with infrastructure, shall we? Obama has this little jobs bill that takes these infrastructure issues and tries to kill to birds with one stone. Fix the crumbling infrastructure while at the same time provide jobs and boost the economy. Who is it that is resisting this kind of project? That’s right, the Republicans. Why? Because they KNOW the bill will create new jobs and boost the economy, but they don’t want to hand a “win” to Obama, that’s why.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

You didn’t mention Amtrak, but we all know how well IT’S doing.

I didn’t mention a lot of things. Amtrak has its problems. Most of them deal with age and availability. Trains work well in small areas at high speeds. A century ago, trains were THE form of cross country transportation. Today, it is more convenient to fly. Trains work well in places like Japan, Europe, and other smaller places because it is less feasible to fly from one end of Japan to another.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Military medicine is worth every penny the military members pay for it.

    Clue: It is socialized medicine.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Private health care is generally much better than socialized medicine

Having used both, I find them to be pretty much the same as far as the providers go. But I have experienced first hand the private insurance company’s “death panel” when it comes to whether they will pay for a “pre-existing condition” or not. If I left it to their incapable hands, I wouldn’t be here telling you about it right now — I would have been dead twenty years ago.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

You also made the claim that communism has been successful.

Actually I never made that claim. You just read what you wanted to read. What I said was that Socialism, Capitalism BY THEMSELVES are doomed to fail — they always have, and they always will. Their logical conclusions make it so. Yes, China is moving within a capitalist system, but make no mistake, they are completely communist.

It’s about balance — the right balance. We had that balance for a long time. We lost that balance in the 1980s with Reaganomics. We are now reaping what we sowed.

You’ve got me confused with someone else. I have NEVER claimed that Communism, Socialism or Capitalism, or any other -ism has worked. They haven’t. At least not in their purest unadulterated form. It is the ignorant who think they have or that they will.

I have always said that our system is a mixture of capitalism with a sprinkling of socialism, and that the mixture gets adjusted from time to time in order to keep things moving. It is people like you who think that unbridled capitalism is something that we’ve always had or something that we need to “get back to”.

The problem with capitalism by itself is that it will eventually play itself out like a Monopoly game. If one of the players doesn’t flip the board over in a huff, there will always end up being one winner holding everything and everyone else with nothing.

Actually, I know quite a few, and the ones I know have never accused me of racism, but then most of them tend to be conservative.

Most people, black, white, green, conservative or liberal won’t accuse you of being racist. Funny, that. Oh wait, it kiinda proves my point — that not all people think on terms of race when it comes to everything. But it didn’t stop you from making a blanket statement saying that (and I will quote) “Liberal blacks tend to label anyone white as racist”, when in reality they don’t. (unless of course there is some obvious reason to do so)

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

[...] but the feds are getting into schools, dictating what the kids can and cannot eat…some schools even go so far as to mandate what they can bring from home.

An EO will not create a new law telling you what you can or cannot eat. As far as the feds getting into schools, understand that there are a plethora of existing legislated laws in which regulations are based upon. Never mind that local schools are well within their rights to decide what they will or will not allow in their schools — typically decided by their own school boards.

Let me explain how a law becomes a regulation. Congress passes their legislation which gets passed up to the Executive Branch for the president to sign. But the process doesn’t stop there. The bureaucracy then takes over, and a whole bunch of faceless government workers then take that freshly-minted law and starts to create rules and regulations based on it. That is where the real sausage gets made. If you are interested, I would suggest you read up on the Code of Federal Regulations or CFR. (It’s kinda scary, actually)

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

    And Obamacare wasn’t Congress’s idea…it was the president’s.

I did actually say that, didn’t I? Something about a suggestion? It is about ALL a president can do — suggest or propose. He did, Congress took it and created a law. A flawed one, I readily admit, but they did create one based on the president’s suggestion. Sometimes president’s suggestions turn out good, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes a president’s suggestion gets completely fucked up by Congress. Sometimes Congress just creates a mess all by itself.

    LC Grammar Czar, G.L.O.R. says:

Not at all. But you seem more irritated with the things I say than with practically anyone else here

Not irritated at all. Actually, you are better able than most to actually debate. For the most part, you put up an argument. (the other two are just irritating, and I wouldn’t put yourself in that same category)

Oh, I’m sorry. Am I preventing you from saying something here? For fucks sake? By all means, chime in, say something relevant.

I’ve been waiting for ten comments for someone to get back to the topic at hand. Skye and I are just shooting the breeze until then. For fucks sake get on with it.

Should have done what I did years ago. Created an online pseudonym to use. I recognized way back in the early 1990s that privacy was going to become a serious issue if you were to publicly use your real name on the Internet. But then, I’ve been used to using a pseudonym since the day I started working in radio back in the late 1960s. It made perfect sense to me to carry it over into the Internet.

YOU MEAN YOUR REALLY ARE THE “ASSHOLE”???????

Is that what kept you here? I hate to break it to you but I really had no interest in “tomb stoning” you or anyone else for that matter. You helped spin the counter here.

I don’t hate you. I don’t even dislike you. I just don’t agree with you on a few things.

Sure. It’s my secret identity. Shhhhh!

Got to say I tend to agree with the original post on this one though. Things will get uglier before they get better. Our ‘ruling’ class, be they Ds or Rs, need some seriously schooling.

I have no problem disapproving of Obama. But you don’t see me calling him “Obongo” or draw pictures of him with bones in his nose. No, instead I just talk about how I disagree with him — without referring to his race or his wife being an animal-like creature.

I think you are the biggest racist on this board, but then most marxists are.

But hey, DJ, I wonder if you remember these words:

I have officially resigned from the Rott, lock, stock and barrel. No more posting account, no more comments, no more debate. I am through. Finished.

    And these words:

Take care of each other. Please, don’t think about me any longer. I am gone.

    Goodbye.

Good Golly, marxists are really bad about keeping promises.

I remember back when your “You are all racists” crusade was reaching a fever pitch, you conceded that “Obongo” was a play on his name and not a racist reference about The Chosen One.

As far as people here drawing pictures of Obama with “bones in his nose”, I don’t seem to recall that at all.

I do remember a photo floating around the interweb with Obama portrayed as a witch doctor in context with the Obamacare “debate” but it didn’t originate from here.

I chalked it up as clever but in poor taste, much like the Obama dildo and the Obama caganer.

And in each of those cases, they have that little mixture of Capitalism thrown in.

Conceded? Not really. I got tired of arguing about it. Much like I am tired of arguing about all of this. It’s Monday, I’ve got work to do.

    Nice try.

No, you definitely conceded that point but to be fair, I’d get tired of throwing around ridiculous leftist memes as well.
