Ogabe’s EPA Stormtroopers Continue to Wage War on Texas

Because we can’t have those Texan upstarts embarrassing Reichsführer Ogabe and his failed National Socialist policies, can we?

On April 13, 2011, the EPA publishing its ruling that Texas must comply with the Clean Air Transport Rule (CATR). Using the CATR, the EPA is set to include Texas in the national sulfur dioxide program, without any comment from any of the state’s stakeholders, political leaders or industry leaders allowed. No public review, just bam!, Texans get the EPA jackboot. The EPA’s effort to strong arm Texas away from its successful and flexible state-level clean air program, established in the 1990s and which has enjoyed bipartisan support, and into the EPA’s less effective national program has been building since President Obama’s inauguration.

The National Socialist Democrat Workers’ Party’s war on Americans continues unabated, using un-Constitutional overreach and executive fiat wherever they damn well please.

Meanwhile, the Stupid Party continues to roll over and take it up the Khyber Pass for fear that they might appear Visigothy to their traditional “allies” in the ultra-leftwing Ogabemedia.

You know, at some point it becomes obligatory to start waging war right back.

Unless you’d really rather live in a cold, damp, corrugated iron shed while your “betters” in DC jet around the country gorging themselves on caviar and lobster.

Thatisall.

Between this, federal emergency relief (or lack thereof), TSA gestapo tactics, and multiple FU’s from the feds re: border skirmishes between Texas LEOs and Messican drug gangs, I’d say the time is rapidly approaching when the murmurs of secession become something more of a chant, then a war-cry. If Perry really wants to earn some street cred, let him draw… Read more »

Uh, …. how damp, exactly?

I mean, are we talking Everglades damp? Or just a little humid?

If Perry really wants to earn some street cred, let him draw a line in the sand on this issue or the TSA no-grope legislation – then stand behind it. But both sides are already in full-throated screech mode as Rick seems edging closer to tossing his hat in. They of course, have their panties in a knot about Rick’s… Read more »

Tell me of all states in this crumbling union, which one has the population, natural resources and balls to secede? Likewise which one would hurt the feds the most? It’s pretty much the same question.

And except for Pima county Arizona would join right in with them. We just happen to have the largest active coal mine in the country.

On the subject of the Obamedia, Ace posted the video of Chris Wallace politely putting that scumbag Jon Stewart on the hot seat about leftist media bias. Get a load of Stewart’s exquisite condescension in this bit (said with utter seriousness): “You can’t understand — because of the world you live in [?]– that there’s not a designated ideological agenda… Read more »

And what happens if Texas should just fail to comply?

Fail to comply???

The Texas formula already exceeds the parameters set down by the EPA. This is just a power grab. They could pollute more by using the Federal guidelines, they just don’t need to file (and pay permits) on every individual machine.

‘Sucks that they think this is progress,, ‘Sucks that they did it to Texas,, DAMN FINE thang that of all the states,, they chose Texas as the test state.. the very one most likely to show ’em the reason folks say “Don’t mess with Texas”.. it ain’t just a dang bumper sticker.

I’d go with the historical response of “NUTS”, You get the “Fuck Off” by default and you can get it on the news.

If you -are- going to secede, make sure you let us know in enough time to move before y’all close the borders, okay?
