RINO Field Narrows Further, Mitch Daniels is Out Too
And there was much rejoicing among us Right Wing Visigoths as yet another “Establishment Pragmatist” decided to “spend more time with his family“.
Well, they’ll always have Mittens “OgabeCare” Romney, but that’s about it by now.
Of course, with the number of SquishyCon Milquetoast candidates dwindling, the number of Make Believe Media articles telling us how this is a disaster, based on “Republican insiders” who will all tell us that the only way the GOP can win is by picking yet another roll-over, boring, socialist-lite candidate and we should, by G-d, listen to those Make Believe Media Journojizzmers and their unnamed “insiders”, seeing as how they’ve always had our best interests at heart.
Just ask President McCain, Rep. Scuzzyflavah and Sen. Crist if you don’t believe us!
Oh, wait…
Never mind.
Thatisall.

Well, there doesn’t seem to be anyone who wants it. Only people who seem to think it is their turn.
John Bolton/Herbert Cain 2012.
In any order you want.
That’s *Herman*, Purple Raider!
The man definitely has my vote! Fuck this milquetoast RINO squishes!
Damn it! That’s “THESE” not “this”!
My liege, we need an edit button!Food for Thought

Whoops, Bad URL. Try this as Food for Thought

Yeah, well, better to lose then, if that’s true in any way.
I’m becoming a big fan of Herman Cain.
The only criticism the “pundits” can come up with is that “he doesn’t have any experience in government or politics.”
DUH … that’s the whole fucking idea! Don’t you stupid assholes realize that we’ve had enough of career politicians???
The founding fathers didn’t intend for our government to be led by assholes who couldn’t find work in other fields and then decided to spend their lives in DC. They intended for citizens from all walks of life to come and serve their country (not vice versa) for a few years, then leave.
Response to Madam President @:
So sorry, my keyboard was drinking heavily last night.
Response to BigDogg @:
All these “wonder candidates”, regardless of party, seem to have a change of heart after being “read into” their respective offices – probably due to their being made aware of “consequences” if the “proper” line of thinking isn’t followed.
Response to lc purple raider @:
That happens to me all the time also.
The bad thing about all the RINOs opting out is it will make it easier for the one left standing to pick up the pieces once the conservative candidates split each others support. That will probably be Romney
ThePaganTemple says:
My concern, too. With the Democrat primary for prez being nonexistent, what’s to say a little line crossing for fun in to the Republican primary?
Response to Darth Sciuridae @:
Don’t count Kucinich out just yet.
ThePaganTemple says:
Kucinich aka Jugears Jr. is moving here to Washington state to find another district to run in…….oh lucky day.
Herman Cain has my vote…and if he were to pick Allen West as his running mate..WhooHOO!
Lady M-ITT™-Imperial Sniper G.L.O.R says:
Leftards would commit mass suicide if that were the ticket. And that, as Martha Stewart would say, is a GoodThing™.
Darth Sciuridae says:
And that is a strategy. Cross over and vote for some milquetoast non-entity. Good idea. Use their own tactics on them.
I’m sorry My Liege, but I disagree with your characterization of Daniels being “just another Rhino”. Having had him for my governor for the last 8 years I can tell you he is BOTH a fiscal and social Conservative.
Indiana has the lowest debt load, unemployment rate, and has garnered the highest influx of new businesses in the Midwest under his leadership. We have had the lowest cutbacks in public services in the U.S. (only 2% reduction) while still either keeping tax rates the same or lower since he took office. He instituted a state cap on property tax rates so has to provide stability in homeowners future fiscal planning. He also recently signed a bill cutting off state funds to Planned Parenthood. He also signed several pro-gun bills this year alone.
He’s NOT charismatic by any stretch of the imagination, but he has adult ideas on budgetary matters and good old common Hoosier horse sense. I believe that he would have been a very good , if not splashy, candidate.
That said, I think my dream ticket would be Herman Cain and Alan West…But West has already made it clear that he is not interested in any more than re-election as a Rep. for his district at the present time, and Cain has an uphill battle to be taken seriously, and has zero experience in the Foreign relations aspect of the position. I also have great interest in Michele Bachman, but wonder if she really has the ability to get her agenda instituted if she were elected.
We live in interesting and dangerous times and I think that this election may be the turning point on whether we remain a Republic grounded in personal freedom or sink either into a dictatorship or a civil war. I’m keeping the powder dry and the arms near to hand if it goes the wrong way.
Herman Cain? The one who supported TARP and the bailouts? The one who was a Fed Chairman? THAT Herman Cain? fuck. that.
Response to lc purple raider @:
That is the only time my keyboard will allow me to post here.(At the Rott).
D3 has a lot of it covered; just not what matters most. M. D. won’t run without full backing from the Lilly and Pulliam families. And they know they will be in for assaults on their privacy that is too horrible to contemplate if he did run. The abuse Dan Quayle had to endure was kid stuff compared to the conduct of the DNC’s professional character assassins. Besides: Daniels has already admitted he wants the other side to like him. I want a President who will treat the libscum the way they treat us.
My apologies for being off topic but this one hit home …
A nice, Progressive way to raise a baby
The parents, nice progressive types from Canada, are raising their baby without telling anyone what GENDER the child is.
I can see so many train wrecks on this one …
LC Sir Intellectual Conservative 5th Columnist says:
Oh God……those train wrecks will end up in some poor schlep teacher’s classroom, like mine, and that poor teacher will have to contend with the mental cases these so-called parents have “raised”……
all done in the name of enlightenment….progressives are soooooo superior
LC Sir Intellectual Conservative 5th Columnist says:
And so we enter the Androgynous Zone. A place and time where you aren’t allowed to be the gender you were born, but must be both, and never know who the hell you really are. To be so emotionally, mentally and physically f*cked up that there’s no way out.
John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe would be considered freaks these days.
Response to Jaybear, Colonel of Imperial Ancient Artillery @:
BE HUMANE
Please have your liberals spayed or neutered.
Response to DJ Allyn, ITW @:
Actually the very parents who did it said they did it in the hopes the world would be a better and more progressive place.
Their words.
LC Sir Intellectual Conservative 5th Columnist says:
Only if people like this stop breeding.
Lady M-ITT™-Imperial Sniper G.L.O.R says:
…or neither.
DJ Allyn, ITW says:
Maybe, but enough people like it well enough to make him a millionaire.
I’m waiting for the Sarahcuda to announce her candidacy.
So on top of everything else, you’re a certified racist.
Nice.
Response to LC Sir Intellectual Conservative 5th Columnist @:
I see many different ways this will play out, none of them good.
I don’t think I’ve ever had Godfather’s Pizza, mainly because this is the best damn pizza in the world.
And yeah, we got some abolishing to do…
Darth Venomous says:
That’s liberal speak for “Uncle Tom”.
DJ Allyn, ITW says:
I loved Godfather’s Pizza. Some the best I’ve eaten. Just because you don’t like the product doesn’t mean he’s an idiot. Besides..if you’re looking for a perfect candidate you’re gonna be waiting a long damn time to find one. I get damned tired of people shoving candidates aside just because they don’t agree with them 100%. You’re not going to vote for a Repub anyway Deej so what’s the use of you bitching about em?
I guess we can’t all be fortunate enough to have a former PLO flack explain it to us I guess.
http://sandbox.blog-city.com/khalidi_of_the_plo.htm
Of course Khalidi will(and has) deny it to try and make life easier for our first affirmative action president.
But beyond that I have to agree, Cain has a lot to learn regarding foreign policy. Knowing about the right of return in the Middle east peace fiasco is a fundamental in order to understanding the problem.
Lady M-ITT™-Imperial Sniper G.L.O.R says:
DJ wants Mittens Romney, so his pResident can have a easier time.
DJ Allyn, ITW says:
so you’re saying he’s dumber than the president of these here 57 states?
Imagine if you will, a debate with Cain and Obama where both individuals degenerate to Black street language name calling… ending with the inevitable “yo momma” which leads to a throw down. Im thinking something ala Richard Prior ……now that would be teh funny.
On a serious note, Cain would be smurt to look to Lt.Col Alan West as a running mate. West seems to have a good grasp on the foreign policy. Still cant say Im impressed by any of the declared candidates. I know I dont want ANY retread from the last go around. I look at it like this, the pussies couldn’t take Obama down last time cause they wouldn’t play hardball. Whats there to make me think they will behave any differently this time?
Also, (for DJ mostly) while it appears that Cain’s knowledge of right to return is lacking, at least he knows what fucking year it is. Bama signed the registry at Westminster Abbey “24 May 2008.” 2008? WTF? So lets see….. whats the bigger sin here…a candidate not know about Palestinian right to return, or a President that doesn’t know what year it is? At the very least its a wash.
Oh and speaking of dumb as a box of rocks…this coming from a guy who defends a President who thinks he is CNC of The United States Marine Corpse.
Response to DJ Allyn, ITW @:
I actually think you’d find a LOT more people on the far left who would think this is a good thing as opposed to the far right. Breaking of traditional gender norms isnt exactly a forte of the right.
I think you had best get busy proving that I ever said that, asshole.
Or have you forgotten what happened the last time you tried putting words in my mouth?
Ah, but we know you to be full of double-standards & general bullshit, don’t we?
If you bitch & moan when references are made to the “first Wookiee”, then you’re not immune from criticism for your own racism, now are you?
Goose & gander, dumbass.
Response to DJ Allyn, ITW @:
One word for them .. RINOs .. and not because of their gayness, it’s because of their political stands.
As I recall, it was you doing the bawling after 20 of your comments suddenly disappeared.
What would be the point? You’ve already established that you’re nothing but a lying little cowardly pussy liberal hippie fuck who hides behind his butt-buddy cop roomies, so why waste my time?
Besides, kicking your ass would have posed no problem even in your prime – it’d take very little effort to beat the shit out of you now.
Yeah. Because you’ve shown yourself to be a racist. (And a fucking hypocrite, too – but, being the pussy liberal hippie fuck that you are, that goes without saying.)
Yeah. A racist one.
Where’s your proof that any of this ever happened, fuckhead? You’re making the claim – put up or shut up.
Because you say so? Fuck you, doucherifle. Your word isn’t law anywhere, least of all here.
And I’m still waiting for your proof that I said anything like that, you lying sack of shit.
More like “you can dish it out, but you can’t take it”. But that’s typical of a libtard fucknozzle, isn’t it?
Just like you inserted it when we were allegedly calling Bambi “lawn jockey” and “Sambo”?
Sucks when you get beaten at your own game, doesn’t it, shit-for-brains?
You must mean this guy.
Oh, not just no, but Hell NO!
I’ve never seen DV refer to Obama as “a lawn jockey” or “bongo”.
I, however. have referred to him (Obama) as “Obongo” and that was just an amusing (at least to me) play on his name rather then a sinister display of racism.
On the other hand, if someone here posted a picture of Obama playing golf wearing sunglasses and titled it “Blind Melon Chitlin’ hits the links”, I suspect DJ’s reaction would be to post one of his classic “You’re all racist! screeds….
Response to DJ Allyn, ITW @:
Deej, I’m actually willing to give him a pass on the Declaration of Independence vice Constitution. Coming from a broadcast journalism background, I understand that it’s difficult to speak to an audience, and sometimes our mouths get ahead of our brains. I’m fairly sure he knows the difference between the two, just like I’m fairly sure Zero knows we don’t really have 57 states. (I’m saying this in hope… on both fronts).
What I’m NOT willing to give him a pass on is his claim that somehow it’s moral to force Americans to invest in failing banks by government force (read: use taxpayer money to rescue banks whose failing policies led to their being in a mess). He claimed that it was a good thing that the American people will now own a share of these failures. As a supporter of free markets, that pissed me off more than anything.
Additionally, I have a big issue with Cain having called a political opponent “pro-abortion,” because the opponent didn’t oppose termination of pregnancy in cases of rape. I’m fairly neutral on the abortion issue, myself. I couldn’t EVER kill my own child, and I do think abortion should not in any way be the purview of the federal government and Roe v. Wade was a bad case that needs to be reexamined. However, right now, the law is the law… BUT, I am absolutely appalled at his apparent contention that the government should have the right to force a woman to be an incubator for her rapist’s offspring! No. Fucking. Way. Ever. As someone who was raped in college, I find this contention abhorrent to its very core, and if I was ever forced by the government to carry my rapist’s child, I guarantee you I would find a way to end the pregnancy one way or another.
Oh, and I’ve never had Godfather’s Pizza. No clue what it even is. I’m a fan of Homemade Pizza Company.
Greetings from the Peoples Republic of Shitcago. It has been a long time since I have posted, and I want to tell everyone that I enjoy the Rott regularly. This thread started out discussing the potential Republican candidates, and I must say, or rather ask….does anyone REALLY think that replacing O’Bumbles with a “conservative”, or any other brand of animal, will make ANY difference in the long run?
Think about it. Let’s say Herman Cain, or West gets in. Now what? There will still be the following Bureaucracies humming along…
EPA
HUD
Department of (Insert name here)
Various and sundry LEO’s
I think you get the idea. No matter who gets to raise the debt ceiling in the future, (and do you really think whoever is elected won’t), In my opinion, there will not be a change of direction until there is a collapse of the system. Do I want that? No. Is it necessary? Yes. Will it happen? Eventually.
Back to trying to find a good used Deuce and a half.
I’ll try not to stay under the rock too long next time.
Response to noahquackenbush @:
You are correct, sir. Whatever manner of trash is allowed to win the next election will come with a pre-ordained approval that never bodes well for the average citizen.
Response to Darth Venomous @:
AHHHHHH its so refreshing to see DV absolutely Dismantle DJ……………………………..
Truer words were never spoken. DV you are a God!
Heres my early choice to defeat Dumbo
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/05/the_dark_horse_who_could_win_i.html
Just got this link from Rue….hope it is not too old….another reason to believe that it really doesn’t
matter who wins. This individual was actually elected to congress.

Response to DJ Allyn, ITW @:
I can’t debate the context, since I haven’t heard the full speech, and have no sound on this bloody computer or any of my other ones here at work, so I’ll defer. However, I will say that the guy is no dummy, whatever his other faults are, and I can’t imagine that this was anything but unintended. Seriously. The comment is just too dumb, and I can’t imagine he wouldn’t do his research. Nonetheless….
I’m assuming he meant if people are unhappy with the government. And there’s ample proof in the historical writings of the Founders that this is exactly why the Second Amendment was included.
Yeah, I’m thinking it will be Mittens as well, and that makes me sick to my stomach. The GOP establishment and dumbass Joe Sixpack have obviously learned nothing. They still think mainstream “it’s his turn” type politics should be the status quo.
You’all still think Palin isn’t running? Via Drudge:
so what’s with all the hubub about Newt’s Tiffanys bill?
look at what the First lady is wearing, those don’t look like Wal-Mart diamonds to me
Response to Jaybear, Colonel of Imperial Ancient Artillery @:
The Tiffany’s line of credit with incredibly nice lending terms came right at a time when Tiffany was lobbying the same committee Newt’s wife was on.
And Newt is a hypocritical, lying piece of festering shit.
As for Palin… ugh. Her knowledge of foreign affairs and defense matters makes me cringe. I hope she does not run.
Response to LC Nicki the Resident Misanthropic Bitch @:
She will learn Master Nicki
Response to LC Nicki the Resident Misanthropic Bitch @:
Besides she can’t any worse than the current crop Marxists/Socialists/Enviowhackjobs/NDSWP that we have currently running the asylum.
LC Nicki the Resident Misanthropic Bitch says:
oh don’t think for a minute that I support that asshole. I have disliked him for years, I just questioned why moochelle can wear that godawful piece of bling around her neck and no one raises the same questions.
My take on the upcoming election? President bobblehead will coast to a second term. It’s a pre-ordained thing, the media will prop him all the way to an easy victory….no matter who we run against him. I say let’s increase GOP representation in congress, the senate, and governorships….make that the emphasis because we sure as hell won’t win the White House this time.
The quality people in the GOP are doing more important things right now…..JIndal, Rubio, West, Nikki Haley, Susana Martinez….we need to hold the line for 5 more years and then we WILL take this country back.
Response to Light29ID @:
She doesn’t have time, and neither does America. IMO, the President of the United States needs to be competent in:
1 – financial issues (I haven’t actually heard a solid plan from her other than generalities about how we must reduce our debt – all well and good, but I’m sick and tired of vapid platitudes of politicians – give me some solid platforms on entitlements, bureaucracies, etc,. or STFU)
2 – military matters (as C-in-C)
3 – Foreign policy (as a leader of the free world and all…)
Granted, she can’t do much worse than Zero, but then who could? I’m sick and tired of the “well he/she can’t be any worse than Zero” arguments in favor of certain politicians. This is a woman who thinks we should enlarge NATO to include Georgia and Ukraine. She thinks abortion is the most pressing issue facing this nation today. Sorry, but realistically speaking, as hideous as we may find the practice, this nation is on the brink of serious fiscal collapse. Abortion is the LEAST of our worries. And I’m not even sure what exactly she wants to do in order to even start reducing our debt. While I think she’s an effective marketer, she’s fucking clueless on matters that are important to me, and having her in the White House would be… uh… no fucking way.
Response to Jaybear, Colonel of Imperial Ancient Artillery @:
Oh, I don’t think for a moment you would support that asshole, and unfortunately, I think you’re right about Zero slithering into another term.
As for the godawful piece of bling… well, it’s not like she borrowed money to buy it and then didn’t repay it. There’s no accounting for bad taste. *shrug* It was a stunning dress, for a change, as was the white one she wore to the last dinner. For once she didn’t look like she raped a bordello for its drapes to sport that look. Too bad she had to ruin it with that thing around her neck.
See Pawlenty, Mittens, Newt, Trump, etc, etc…
Mooooo!!!! Obama’s a marxist, and you thought you were going to get a practical man.
Ah, a Marxist giving me advice on president. Kind of like Michelle Antoinette Obama giving me advice on eating.
Response to LC Nicki the Resident Misanthropic Bitch @:
Nicki, we’re not going to find somebody with those qualifications that’s electable or isn’t a RINO unless we dig up Reagan and repeal the 22d Amendment. Palin has been through the crucible and is tempered steel and she means what she says. You look at what we have running on the GOP ticket right now and it’s like trying to pick the least painful way of suicide. I’m even wary of Bachman because she’s been inside the Beltway. As VP yes, but not at the top of the ticket.
Response to Light29ID @:
Yeah, I mean what I say too, but that doesn’t qualify me to be President. Actually, I’m probably more qualified to be POTUS than she is (military veteran, work in national security, foreign affairs and economics). That doesn’t matter, though. I don’t care about electable or not. That’s what got us McShitstain in the first place. “Electable.” I’m done with that. I earnestly believe if we get a good candidate, who is a fiscal conservative and not a bloody fucking idiot when it comes to national security and economy, they will be electable. Palin is a cult of personality – nothing more. And Bachmann…. don’t even get me started on that nutty bitch!
If I have to hear one more vapid platitude out of her maw, I’m going to puke.
Even that infamous exchange with that douchebag Arlen Specter showed her to be nothing more than an empty suit.
Response to Jaybear, Colonel of Imperial Ancient Artillery @:
Actually, it looks like the mix of necklaces I used to pull out of my jewelry box. It looks as though someone forgot to untangle them.
Der HarangueOutan schreite:
“DJ Allyn: In your heart, you know he’s wrong.”
Well, there’s a prediction. See you in some 17 months about it.
A calculatedly ambiguous remark?
BTW I wonder whether Palin is executing the plan I thought up for her; her actions seem consistent with it.
