I’d start jobhunting if I were you

A (hopefully) soon to be former Secret Service agent made a Facebook post:

“As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle not to violate the Hatch Act. So I keep quiet and skirt the median. To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position. Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides.”

“But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.”

Apparently this isnt the first time either.

O’Grady told the Examiner in an interview that she took down the posts after two or three days and that she wouldn’t shirk her duties to protect the president, despite her support of Trump’s Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.

The Secret Service is trusted with the protection of the life of the President and the safety of his family.

A trust she has betrayed.

When I was very very young, and I mean at 12 years old, I took an oath as a junior trainee cadet volunteer ambulance officer. To protect life, to care for others, in the service of Mankind.

Lofty ideals, I know, but that was an oath I took willingly. That oath will bind me until the day I die. I wanted to be a cop, once, and I also tried to join the armed services. Call me coward, call me whatever you like, but in the end I had to put that away, because the day could come where I would be required, even when necessary, to take the life of another.

My conscience and my honour could not, and will never, allow me to take that step. I am oathsworn, a commitment that is ultimately between me and God, to be true to my word.

And that, to me, is her eternal disgrace. She has violated her oath.

For that, in my eyes, she can never be forgiven.

This woman has proven she can’t be trusted. There is also the violation of the Hatch Act. Some are calling for her to be arrested. I’ll just settle for her to be fired and stripped of her security clearances and pension.
