Quick update

Oh yes, a thud indeed.

Sorry, I’ve been out of it for a while. What, the holidays and all, but a damnable case of the interminable cruds as well, more specifically pneumonia.

Beats the snot out of you, it does.

Still, I just wanted to let you all know that I’ve not gone into hibernation, it’s a brand new year and it’s going to be a glorious one, I just don’t have much energy right now.

That will change, though, G-d willing, and we’ll be nursing our schadenboners for months and months to come as the fun keeps piling up and we realize just how much #winning it will take before we’ve had enough. I suspect the amount is “infinite.”

Until then, laugh at a Prozi every day, mock them wherever you find them, and rub it in their faces every chance you get.

To the hilt.

ya know, as an old 54 Bravo, i’d advise you that a quick trip to the local gas chamber and a good dose of CS would clear that congestion right out…. you should ask your doc for a referral.

Hope you’re feeling better. However, I do have to ask why this video of your family’s “care” for showed up on YouTube.

Not fun at all. I’ll second all suggestions you’ve probably already received to listen to your body and take it easy while recovering from that mess.

I was out for several months back in early ’01 with bronchitis followed by the real flu (that was one of the years when they were very short of flu vaccine) which developed into pneumonia. And a little bit of pleurisy tacked on at the end in the middle of a blizzard.

I’m sure I made things worse by trying to go back to work too soon after the ‘flu. (And of course working in a hospital is probably where I was exposed to both the ‘flu and the pneumonia.) I felt pretty good (I thought), went to work, and then spent several hours lying on the floor in my office concentrating on breathing before heading home to pick up my husband and have him take me to the ER. Needless to say I did not try to rush back to work after that bout.

It was more than bad enough to deal with then. With 16 more years of wear and tear on the chassis, I really hate to think how long I’d be out of commission for now.

Vi lever i en interessant tid – på alle måder – her i Danmark har vi stormflod, og nu sner det også . Shit happens. Sorry I wrote this in Danish.
All the best to all of you.

    Love from DK

Kære Farmor, jeg håber danskerne har mere mening end svenskerne over broen i Malmø. Hold dig varm og holde de hedenske udlændinge ud.
