A car rammed into a crowd at Ohio State University on Monday, and a knife-wielding attacker got out and cut people before being shot to death, authorities said. Nine people were reported injured.

Artan described himself as a pious and scared Muslim in an interview with the Ohio State student newspaper in August.
“I wanted to pray in the open, but I was scared with everything going on in the media,” he told The Lantern after transfering from Columbus State Community College. “I’m a Muslim, it’s not what the media portrays me to be.

NBC News’s Pete Williams reported on-air that Artan made a Facebook post lamenting the treatment of Muslims worldwide just before the attack on Monday morning. “I am sick and tired of seeing [Muslims] killed & tortured EVERYWHERE. … I can’t take it anymore,” the posting read, according to ABC News. “America! Stop interfering with other countries … [if] you want us Muslims to stop carrying [out] lone wolf attacks.”
Fake! Russian hackers! Anyway, why are we still talking about this? There’s clearly no story here! The motive remains utterly unclear, so stop talking about it!
