Oh Dear, More ProgNazi Hypocrisy on Display

So the other day, this happened:

At a performance of the Broadway smash Hamilton, Pence was booed (with some cheers mixed in) before the show started. While the cast performed the hip-hop musical about the Founding Fathers, debate raged on the internet about the etiquette behind booing the vice president-elect.

There he was, trying to take in a show, when all of a sudden the diaper-pin wearing ProgNazi garbage babies decided it was time to interrupt it with booing and hissing. Truth to Power™! Apparently enjoying a break away from politics is not an option if you’re a “hateful Reichwinger.”

To top it all off, the cast then proceeded to lecture VP-elect Mike Pence on his hateful, scary, dangerous ways at the end.

VP-Elect Pence, being the bigger man, later stated that he didn’t really feel offended and that he’d leave it to others to decide whether booing at and lecturing paying members of the audience is appropriate or not. Meanwhile, since Friday when it happened, the diaper-pin ProgNazi brigades have been shouting about freedom of speech, the long dark night of fascism and their usual blather whenever they get criticized in the slightest for behaving like four-year-olds.

Fast forward to today:

Now, BroadwayWorld has learned that a Trump supporter interrupted the Saturday evening performance of Hamilton in Chicago. An audience member seated in the balcony allegedly shouted “We won! You Lost! Get over it! F*ck you!” during the number “Dear Theodosia.”

One Twitter user who attended the show alleges that the audience member also shouted profanities and had an altercation with security before being removed from the auditorium.

One Facebook user wrote “At the end, the performers were crying… so was I. They didn’t break characters once. They still sang their hearts out.”

Awww… Poor widdle diaper-pin babies! Not liking it so much when the shoe’s on the other foot, do you?

Now, for the record: His Imperial Majesty hasn’t changed his point of view one iota. The “Trump supporter” was every bit as inappropriate as the howling mob of diaper-pin babies were the night before. You go to a play, movie, game, whatever, to get away from the nonsense and enjoy yourself for a bit. We have no idea what the show is all about, and now we never will. Because bad as it is to be lectured by people so intellectually inferior to us that we’d need a lobotomy to even get close to their level of discourse, we sure as Hades aren’t going to pay for the “privilege.”

You see, we cleave to ONE standard. Unlike ProgNazis, who have two for every situation. Double standards are twice as good as single ones, you know!

The thing is, though: If you can’t take it, don’t dish it out. Not to mention the “Trump supporter” was really only quoting your Chocolate Führer’s own words back from after he won the election of ’08. “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won.” Don’t think we’ve forgotten.

We haven’t. We never will. Now suck it up, buttercups.

We won, you lost, now get over yourselves.

He should have waited until the cast’s final bows before letting fly. Other than that, he was a jerk. People paid good money for those tickets and shouldn’t be interrupted.

People, most of whom were the enemy paid money for tickets. The enemy wanted to make the personal political – fuck ‘em where they live, work, and play.
