Criminal Population Drops by 1 Again

Via Bearing Arms:

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Relatives of a 17-year-old are angry the teenager was shot and killed by a homeowner who police say was protecting her property.

The sister of the teen who died identified him as Trevon Johnson. She said he was a student at D. A. Dorsey Technical College.

“I don’t care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law… way beyond, said Johnson’s cousin Nautika Harris. ”

You should probably familiarize yourself with the law before you start spouting nonsense about it. Right after you familiarize yourself with the concept of reading for comprehension. OK, you should probably start off with just “reading.”

“He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him.

A very brief one, given his life choices.

Trevon had goals…

Most incompetent burglar in the neighborhood?

he was a funny guy,

His B&E routines were fricking hilarious, we tell you!

very big on education,

Head of his lock picking class and everything!

loved learning.”

Except the bit about property rights, but he would have gotten to that later, we’re sure.

On Thursday, police say Johnson burglarized a home south of 79th Street near I-95 — just blocks away from where he lives.

The 54-year-old woman told police her surveillance system alerted her to the break-in of her home. She said she rushed home and found the teen climbing out of a window.

“She observed a subject leaving the home through the rear,” said police Det. Dan Ferrin.

Miami-Dade police said there was a confrontation and shots were fired. Police said they were on scene seconds after the shooting and gave CPR to the teen. Johnson was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“What’s wrong with her,” asked Johnson’s sister Nisha Johnson. “She did not have to shoot him.”

Much like your now deceased brother didn’t have to burglarize her home, you know.

“It’s no reason she should have waited until I think he walked out the yard to try to shoot him,” said Harris.

Dammit, she’s an old lady. She doesn’t have the reflexes she used to have. You’ve got to cut her some slack there. But you’re right. She should have popped that little zit the moment she saw him. On the other hand, maybe she just didn’t want her home decorated in “Hint of Brain.”

“If she called the police already why would she shoot him?”

Perhaps she didn’t want him to make off with her property? Just putting it out there.

Relatives said they don’t believe Johnson stole anything from the home but detectives would not confirm that.

Of course he didn’t. He was just an overly enthusiastic applicant for a job with Homes and Gardens, looking for some field experience. Yep, that’s it.

“You have to look at it from every child’s point of view that was raised in the hood,” said Harris. “You have to understand… how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.”

Get a job, perhaps? Yes, we know it’s terribly dreary to toil away for hours doing something you’re actually getting paid for, but at least the likelihood of getting your ticket punched is much lower that way.

What’s that you say? He couldn’t find one to his liking? Well that changes everything. Of course that leaves him with no option but to steal other people’s shit. It’s not like they worked for it, after all.

No, we don’t “have to look at it from his POV”, particularly since his POV obviously came from a seriously depraved family who utterly failed in their duty to teach him at least basic human decency and respect for others.

In this world, there is “my stuff” and “everybody else’s stuff.” If you want something from pile number two, you earn the money to purchase it from them if they’re willing to sell.

“Earn.”

“Purchase.”

If only he’d learned what those two words meant, then he wouldn’t be chillin’ out in a morgue tonight.

Teach your children well, or attend their funerals.

Thatisall.

Judging from the way his sister talks, they likely also failed to teach him to speak the English language.

Of course, doing something like that would be racist. Far better to “teach” him to be a mal-spoken, illiterate, incompetent burglar. Who know? He might eventually graduate to rape, armed robbery, drug dealing, and murder.

Goals, man. You gotta have life goals.

Only from the point of view of the criminal class. Now why don’t you just get back to your street corner and start shaking those “goods” of yours. I’m sure all your Johns customers are waiting for their “servicing.

#BlackLivesMatter only as much as their owners decide they do. If they matter a lot, then stay the hell out of other people’s houses uninvited.

Apparently she confronted him as he was “departing” and he decided that the little old lady would take a whippin’ and he was home free. Wrong answer…

Trevon has joined Trayvon on the list of dumbass ghetto thugs.

Good thing that we don’t really have a manned spaceflight program anymore. This one would have hit the astronaut corps hard as soon as the dear departed was of age.

An awful lot of the potential workforce is struggling with that one, and has been for nearly a decade. Maybe if our elites quit strangling the economy, it would be easier, but that’s just crazy talk.

Not that this mope would have taken one, regardless.

I guess you didn’t hear – we had to free them in 1865.

I hereby denounce myself for that comment.

That was the money quote right there. What kind of a fucked-up mindset does someone have to have to think that way?
I do love happy endings though.

Okay, that’s funny, in a “fuck political correctness with a running chainsaw” kind of way. The thought that I could be read that way escaped my attention at the time.
