R.I.P., Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia

They just don’t make them like you anymore. Enjoy your well earned rest in Heaven, because you’ve done more than your share down here in Hell.

Rough times ahead for our nation, but we wouldn’t have one at this point if it weren’t for you. We are forever in your debt.

So, who’s the 350 lbs transgendered black communist lesbian that the GOPe will let waddle past them to the bench?

Oh yes, we know that Bitch McCockless has blustered and bragged that None Shall Pass™, but if anybody’s in the mood to trust a word coming out of that lying GOPe weasel’s flapping gums… Let’s just say we have a nice beach resort available for sale in Antarctica. Cheap.

Thatisall.

Very rough water ahead unless the purported “R” congresscritters find their cojones for this one effort.

Sadly, from what I have been reading over on the hill reporting it appears that the Senate and House are completely and officially going to be at recess 10 days, within which the der fuhrer Obongo could indeed, under the existing rules, make a recess appointment. The appointee would only serve until Obongo leaves office, but that is enough time to do plenty damage.

Agree McConnel’s word is worth less than spit so no telling what is coming between now and January, other than a highly probable sh*tstorm.

I suspect that Obama is going to nominate Merrick Garland because he is seen as a “compromise” nominee who has had Republican support in the past.

Yertle the Turtle will refuse to deal with the nomination.

That means that anything coming through the court in this current session with a 4/4 tie will make the lower court ruling stand. This means that even if Obama does absolutely nothing right now, most of the cases before the court will favor the Democrats.

    Ironic, huh?

    But wait, it gets worse…

So let’s just say Obama does dangle this moderate nomination in front of the Senate and the Senate digs in and decides not to act upon it. Then the election happens and one of the following three get elected:

    Trump
    Clinton
    Sanders

Would YOU be comfortable with any of the nominees that THEY will make?

Does that make the moderate choice of Obama seem just a bit more palatable?

    This is fascinating to watch.

I just saw that headline but haven’t read the article yet. (Lack of coffee. Just woke up) Unless it was pressed into his face, it doesn’t matter. I tend to sleep with a pillow over my head to muffle the noises from outside.
Once I read the article, I’ll update my thinking.

Trump shoved both feet in it and he better have the balls to back down and apologise. His 9/11 comments were just as bad.,

Fuck you, Donald, no one knew what was planned for 9/11 and no one had any idea what was coming...so there was no way in Hell Pres. Bush or anyone else could have done squat to stop it.

I know you guys don’t like Trump, but it would be an exercise in futility for him to get elected and then appoint a judge who would weigh the supreme court against anything he has said he wants to do.

Any change to immigration will be challenged by the liberals and shortly found to be “unconstitutional” by that court of fools. Trump wouldn’t be able to deliver on anything he’s said so far. At least in my opinion.

Now consider how many people believed Bush lied as opposed to getting bad Intel from the British?

Look, I personally don’t give a flying fuck who gets the nomination(s), who wins the general. I no longer have a dog in that fight, so you will notice that I am not supporting ANY of these people.

But I still find it fascinating, and y’all have some SERIOUS thinking to do with what you have in front of you.

The next president will not only have to deal with filling the current vacancy in the court, but will most likely have to replace at least three more over the course of the next term. So it isn’t just ONE vacancy in the Court, it is potentially FOUR.

IF the general election were held today, based solely on a fake measure called polling, there are only three possible outcomes in no particular order:

Trump, or Clinton. (Bernie will never get past Nevada — especially now)

As long as Trump is still in, the path for any of the others going into the Republican convention is cloudy at best. The likelihood of Trump coming out on top of the Republicans is looking fairly strong — RIGHT NOW. That could change, but it doesn’t look likely at the moment.

So given a Trump on the Right, a Hillary on the Left would wipe the floor with him.

    ====

I understand’s Trump’s appeal. But sooner or later, people on the Right need to wake up and discover that while Trump might be more than capable of blowing things up within the Party and the Government, it might not be quite the result that you were looking for.

Remember who Trump really is. And while I was kidding above when I said that Trump might actually appoint Judge Judy to the Court, you can be guaranteed that whoever Trump picks is going to be a judge that benefits TRUMP and all of TRUMP’s interests.

I shudder to think who Bernie would have appointed, and even I am not too crazy about any potential choices Hillary has.

There might be a silver lining in this loss. NOW maybe voters will take a more SERIOUS look at who they are voting for. As long as Trump is still going, it is hard for anyone to be really all that “SERIOUS”.

This may surprise most of you, but given the gravity of the matter, and that the US is almost evenly divided along ideological lines, this DOES require a hold on making any decision until AFTER the next idiot I mean president is sworn in, and a new Senate is sworn in. That way, there is no excuses, and elections WILL have consequences.

    Radical Redneck growls and barks:

Despite a prestigious degree, Bernie Sanders failed to earn a living, even as an adult. It took him 40 years to collect his first steady paycheck — and it was a government check.
“I never had any money my entire life,” Sanders told Vermont public TV in 1985, after settling into his first real job as mayor of Burlington.
Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances — “We will raise taxes;” he confirmed Monday, “yes, we will.”
One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.
Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. “He was a shi**y carpenter,” a friend told Politico Magazine. “His carpentry was not going to support him, and didn’t.”
Then he tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags, writing about “masturbation and rape” and other crudities for $50 a story. He drove around in a rusted-out, Bondo-covered VW bug with no working windshield wipers. Friends said he was “always poor” and his “electricity was turned off a lot.” They described him as a slob who kept a messy apartment — and this is what his friends had to say about him.
The only thing he was good at was talking … non-stop … about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off. “The whole quality of life in America is based on greed,” the bitter layabout said. “I believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.”

So there we have it folks. Another radical with hate and envy . More Hope And Change BS

Sniper kills ISIS executioner during beheading class

An Islamic State executioner’s head exploded during a class on beheading after a well-aimed shot by a British Special Air Service sniper.

Military sources told the Express that a recent mission into northern Syria involved killing an ISIS recruiter with a Dan.338 rifle as the terrorist was instructing 21 new recruits.

“One minute he was standing there and the next his head had exploded. The commander remained standing upright for a couple of seconds before collapsing and that’s when panic set in,” a source told the newspaper on Monday. “We later heard most of the recruits deserted. We got rid of 21 terrorists with one bullet. He was an extremely sadistic and ruthless individual, feared by the locals and the jihadis alike.”

Bernie Sanders is NEVER going to win the nomination, let alone the general. Nevada is about as far as he will get before hitting that brick wall in South Carolina. After that, it is over for him.

And now that Scalia is gone? There are going to be a SHITLOAD of people on BOTH sides of the aisle focusing a lot closer on the more “establishment” candidates now. That means both Bernie and Blowhard will start dropping in the polls as voters start to get a little more serious about WHO they elect this time.

I think that the turnout in November is going to be epic, and that is a good thing.

Yeah, Democratic “delegate math” is crazy. But even if it were a straight race with straight delegate apportioned, Bernie still doesn’t have the steam to get past South Carolina.

Iowa, and New Hampshire are outliers when compared to most of the other states. Both are predominately white, and pretty Left-leaning. Bernie will have problems getting the same kind of traction in the rest of the states.

Bernie’s only real demographic are millennials. Not exactly the most reliable support cadre. Also not really expected to show up in a general election.

Besides, I think that people are just now waking up and discovering that the stakes in this election are greater now than at any other time in recent history. I think that soon we will start seeing Trump and Sanders falling away. Even now, Cruz is closing on Trump in SC.

I just look out over ALL of these presidential wanna-bees and I just shake my head.

South Kackalackie is kinda unique in our primary here. We have the R’s this saturday, and anyone (R,D or I) can vote in it. Then next saturday, the d’s go and vote. Since the repubelicants are first and the demoncrats are next and they only have an old tired socialist or an old tired socialist to vote for, I project that there will be a lot of crossover voting. How that plays out here will be a lot of D’s come to the polls and vote for donald, or maybe bush. I cannot tell you what is going on around here as I took a week off of work and will only leave the farm three times, once today to get more fuel for the tractor and then saturday for voting, then to service on Sunday. No TV, no paper, very happy. Hope the world keeps spinning, but really don’t care if it doesn’t.

In reality, he is more of a “New Deal Democrat” than a “Socialist” by any stretch of the multiple definitions.

Hillary, on the other hand, is more aligned with what the REPUBLICAN Party used to be when I was still a member. NOT ONE of the current Republican candidates with the possible exception of Kasich in some areas.
