After all the hoopla, controversy and especially conspiracy theories, Teh Won™ has released the long-form Hawaiian birth certificate. He’s ‘puzzled and confused’ about the controversy. He said that while the press was swirling around the issue, he had ‘other things to do’. The man’s arrogance is just astounding. I do agree with him that there is a LOT of things that need attention and dopey birth certificates aren’t it. I completely understand the calls for this, as it could’ve disqualified him for the run, a sure winner for us but, we absofuckinglutely, positively must run on the issues. We need to campaign on our ideas and why they’re better, then nail our opponents with it loud and clear. It’s fucking time we conservatives get out there and do it just like the ‘Donald’, in your face. The polling shows the voting public is sick of the inside-the-beltway political games. They don’t like the demagoguery being used along with the usual bag of dirty tricks, dishonesty, half-truths and outright lies. These are the leftists’ stock and trade. They don’t have any serious answers to our problems and have to resort to to verbal attacks on our side. When you’re out of arguments pull Godwin’s Law outta’ your ass and spout the pejorative of the day. The public wants the real deal, honest truth without mucking around the language. We’re real good at that here, maybe the Rott should be required reading for our side, eh?
He’s been sitting on this all along, waiting for the right time to play the card. It’s very telling that it took the bombastic Trump to get him to play that hole card. He’s scared of an opponent that speaks the truth. The GOP better damn well see that lesson hanging out there. The public wants unvarnished, non-PC, full-on discourse. Trump is merely saying the things the way our real leaders should. Grow a pair GOP and use this.

No State Seal of Hawaii, no delivery doctor listed, no birth weight of the child, and no race listed for him either. Hell I don’t care at this point about his citizenship…we’re stuck with the dumb bastard till ’12, but he’s still hiding something.
I’m wondering what he intended to gain from keeping this on the down low…for, what is it now, almost three years? I don’t get it. I saw it this morning and thought “ok…so it looks like he may be a bastard child, but that’s hardly news worthy”. There is no mention of religion and no mention of him being born in another country. And, I suppose “African” is not a race, but who’s counting.
The only thing I can figure is it provided a nice foil to keep some people wound up and looking like they’re barking mad. But I’m not so sure it worked. Sure, the left is going to have their “ha…told ya so” moment and then it will go away. And if this was his plan, why play it now? He could have milked it until well into next year. Maybe he was getting some vibe that it was starting to wear a little thin?

I would like to point out a couple of things:
1) While everyone’s already leading in with “After years of conspiracy theories…” let us not forget that this also comes after YEARS of Obama spending an ass-load of money fighting legal demands for that document in court.
Apparently, it wasn’t too ‘silly’ to spend more money on it than any of us will ever see at one time.
2) He’s been ‘amused’ and puzzled – he says we don’t have time for this ‘silliness’ – but it occurs to me that he must not have thought that this issue was all that ‘silly’ when he was a senator, and on the committee that found it VITALLY IMPORTANT to comb through John McLame’s (easily and willingly provided) records from-birth-to-present.
3) He spent the entire speech spinning around a message of ‘There, now don’t ask me for the next one!’ – which I find strangely similar to the first Nixon speech – you know, when he released some of the tapes and then said ‘There, that’s what you wanted – now go away!’
I guess now we’re all supposed to say – “Oh! Well! A Birth Certificate! I guess we’ll just drop that matter of ‘his’ Social Security number that actually belongs to someone who died right about the time The Won needed a SS# – Birth Certificate! There really IS nothing to see here! Let’s move along!

Every state has different requirements than others. There is a MD signature on the second line. Some states leave off the child’s race just for this reason, he could lawfully claim either White or Black or both based on the races of the parents. I was born in Nebraska and my weight is not listed (but according to my mother “IT WAS TOO DAMN MUCH!!!!”).
The two questions I have is:
a. How old was she we she got knocked up?
b. What was the age of consent in 1960?

This is much ado about nothing.
The real issues involve philosophy and policy, not certificates of live birth. I could care less about where the current CiC was born at this point. But tax policy, energy policy, the health care debacle, and the bloating of the federal budget – not to mention some of the Alinsky-like tactics – leave me deeply concerned and quite seriously at odds with Mr. Obama.
Mr. Obama manipulated many of his political opponents with this issue IMHO. And anyone who plays into it does so at the expense of the disasterous results of the federal government the past two years.
So I say move along…nothing of value to see here.

Unfortunately, a birth cert is an issue, as a US citizen should be the candidate. He spent millions hiding it. Okay, the Donald has ‘alleged egg’ on his face, but he got Obama to produce it without a court order. Does Trump get my support as the GOP candidate? No, he does not.
The issues are: reducing our dependence on foreign oil, and thus lowering the cost and increasing competiton. Getting the Paul Ryan budget passed. Telling Obama that his days in office are numbered; after which he will be voted out.
The more I think about this, the more I like it. I originally hoped that Obama would keep the birth certificate hidden until the primaries, but now I reckon he’s made the right call. Obama, it is now clear, is the ultimate Cannibal Troll. Not only has he strung along the right wing’s nutcase birther contingent for the best part of three entire years, he’s now all but guaranteed that Donald Trump – Donald fucking Trump, of all people – will be a front runner for the Republican 2012 nomination, siphoning votes from Romney, Pawlenty, Christie, and any other vaguely sensible Republican who may have a ghost of a chance of pioneering an upset in 2012. We can hear it already, on World Net Daily, on Free Republic, and even here; “‘The Donald’”? Well he don’t take shit from anybody. He kicks ass and gets shit done! Trump/Palin2012! Wanna stroke my mullet?”
But that’s not even the best part, noooo nonono, not by a long shot. The funniest thing, the thing that will really pay comedy dividends over the next year or so, is that the more the left points and laughs at you guys for falling for such an obvious ploy, the more determined you’ll be to follow through and back Trump, because everything the left says is prima facie presumed to be deceitful. We’ve seen it already with that gormless caribou birth drone Sarah Punchline. The more we make fun of her, the more vigorously you nitwits delude yourselves into thinking we’re somehow scared of her! He is not authorized to challenge the orders of those appointed over him over some half-baked conspiracy theory. If you actually look closely it doesn’t seem official because the governor’s stamp is actually on the framework-looking part. You see the part that is bent back and goes out of view behind it, but only for about the first 2\3 of the image. Then it looks like a flat sheet fixed to merge with the real image.

With following unlawful orders, it’s a double-edged sword. You can disobey it on the grounds of it being unlawful, but you’re still liable if the order is ruled lawful in court proceedings. It happened with Michael New. It happened with others. Additionally, the order to deploy in and of itself does not become “unlawful,” merely because there’s a question about the President’s eligibility to be President. My educated guess is the order came from Lakin’s unit – from those lawfully appointed over him.
In any case, as a vet, I consider Lakin an absolute embarrassment.

right at the head of the form. Genuine long-form birth certificates will carry a seal, from the
hospital or state, include the name of the attending physician, and carry the newborn’s footprints.
As for the typewriter font, big deal. So someone dug up an old 50′s era typewriter. He’s president
fer chrissakes, the most powerful man in the world. He’s had nearly three years to work on this. It
proves nothing of worth concerning his place of birth, which is in fact, redundant. His mother was
underage to convey citizenship, his father was a British Subject. He cannot be a “natural born
citizen” under the law.
I’ve pointed out where someone has already found discrepancies in the makeup of the .pdf doc – but it has two links, so it’s stuck in ‘Moderation’.

Odd thing to say, really – since, if the whole BC thing were to ultimately turn out to be real, it would mean that:
- He had committed fraud in obtaining a Social Security number
- He had committed fraud in using that fraudulent Social Security number to register for Selective Service,
- He had committed fraud during/after the election,
And it would mean that all of those previous frauds had allowed him to wreak yet-untold damage to the United States, through various & sundry abuses of power – power itself taken through fraud.
Never mind that it would also mean that Col. Lakin (asshat or not) was correct and that Obama didn’t actually have the authority to hand the US military over to NATO for use on Libya OR to order deloyments to Afghanistan OR Iraq.
While we’re at it, what about Every Single. Bill. that he’s signed into Law since occupying the WH? What happens to all of those, if it turns out that the guy who signed them was never legally eligible to be the signatory in the first place? Are all of those laws then struck-down as Unconstitutional, for never having followed the very-specifcially prescribed process for becoming law?
Seems that would ( at the very least) count as a “Constitutional Crisis”, no?
Now, to me that looks like a stack of felonies and a possible enumeration of crimes & harm that we’ve never even had opportunity to experience before – much less enact laws against.
So, I don’t think we really have to wonder about ‘moral equivalence’ between defrauding the government and the American people – and committing a felony, since it rather seems that there’s plenty of Legal equivalence to be had.
Playing off the real importance of this question as ‘silliness’ is to set a dangerous societal precedent.
If one part of the Constitution can be dismissed as ‘unimportant’ – and particularly a part as fundamentally simple as eligibility-for-the-Presidency – why not other parts? After all, isn’t ‘Freedom of Speech’ really just a ‘neat idea’?

I really enjoy the meme that this was some sort of brilliant tactical move by Barry. I got news for folks that think along those lines…. Obama just became Trumps BITCH. Simple question, Barry himself stated (wrote in his book) that he visited Pakistan during a period of time when a US passport couldn’t have been used to gain entry. How did he get in? Did he violate another countries laws and sneak in? Or did he use another countries passport? Who in the fuck visits Pakistan? I guess one could go to Karachi on a hash tour….
Since the election of the Socialist I have considered the BC issue to be just about moot (from a practical standpoint). I’m more interested in the other docs he refuses to release. I guess Im just a “crazy” (insert derogatory name of the week here that ends in “bagger” or “er”) in that I think a POTUS should share his academic records for review of performance, influences, etc. etc. A POTUS life should be a open book up to when they take office.
Im not a fan of Trump and will not vote for him unless offered no other choice as I believe just about anyone with a pulse could be a more effective leader than the socialist. But I give Trump props, he is doing a service for US ALL. Obama’s behavior when it comes to his background is as shady as any criminal / con man I have ever seen. Who created this “silliness”? Was it the folks who asked this POS to provide what all other candidates have provided? Or was it the person who refused to comply with normal behavior? Obama asked us to be POTUS, we didn’t go knock on his door. It is his behavior that is out of the norm and appears silly (nonsensical).

It is way past time for the citizens of this nation to move on the local and state level to rebuke all of the federal intrusion and all that it has cost us. For instance, it is the state officials who could and can demand a real birth certificate from a candidate whose citizenship is at issue, before letting the candidate on the ballot, even for federal positions. That's where this whole birth certificate thing went awry. We certainly can't expect the wholly co-opted, self-interested, useful idiots of either of the major political parties to vet candidates objectively. Their performances over the last 40+ years proves that, conclusively.
It is time for state governors and legies to permit, indeed support business and individuals taking action, completely ignoring all un-constitutional federal regulation and bureaucracy. Drill that well. Crank up that power plant. Halt that housing project construction. Arrest and charge TSA and other DHS goons, locally, when they engage in physical assaults and searches without probable cause. What, really are the feds going to do about it? Send a cobbled together quasi-military into thousands of communities or attempt to control whole states. An entire state, city, or industry group won't go down like the Branch Davidians. Moreover, the present administration has shat so hard on the millitary, it is no longer likely that such unlawful orders would be followed. Nothing meaningful can be done in any meaningful time-frame on the federal level. It is too far out of control, already.

This thing probably is a forgery, but the same people who coined “fake but accurate” will continue to live by that motto, at least as long as it serves their interests. So far as I’m aware, there is no statute of limitation for fraud; if a later administration is able to build a real case of fraud, four years of salary and benefits could be forfeit, as well as someone’s and probably several people’s freedom. Maybe. But that won’t get us drilling in the Gulf or recover our Constitutional right to travel freely within the U.S.
