If There’s Anything We DON’T Need More Of…

We just mentioned that there has to be better material than silly quotes out of context. Case in point:

“I think the establishment actually is against me but really coming on line because they see me as opposed to Cruz, who is a nasty guy who can’t get along with anybody,” Trump said in an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Monday.

“Look, at a certain point, we got to make deals,” Trump continued. “We can’t have a guy who stands in the middle of the Senate floor and every other senator thinks he’s a whack job. You have to make deals, you have to get along, that’s the purpose of what our founders created, and Ted cannot get along with anybody. He’s a nasty person.”…

…aaaaand… scene…

Absolutely. What we need is MORE Washington “deals”, not less. Because we all know how well the previous ones worked out for the nation. We don’t need to use a sarc tag here, do we?

Wasn’t that part of what this whole insurgency used to be about? To stop “heads, they win, tails, we lose” deals in Washington DC?

Sure, we know that Trump’s inferring that his deals will be better (and, in fairness, they can’t be worse than the one party system that the GOPe “opposition” has cursed us with for 8 years), but we’re getting cynical with old age and are way past the point where we’ll take anybody’s word for anything, unless we know them very, very, very well indeed.

Of course, he’s absolutely right that the GOPe, having finally started to come to the realization that ¡Yeb! is as dead as a door nail, are sidling up to him in hopes that they can “work” with him. We suspect they might be in for yet another surprise. Or maybe not. What we DO know is that they’ll never start siding with Cruz because they’re perpetually butt hurt that he “insulted” their king, Mitch McTurkeyneck, by publicly calling him out as the lying, backstabbing, underhanded, Obama-slurping Quisling that he is. Which is another reason why we love Cruz.

We digress… Our point is that here’s some material that one might use to question the soundness of handing Trump the nomination, and it’s not in the slightest bit made up.

We won’t know until the dust settles.

Time to start pressing Trump for some specifics I think.

(No link). I was an ardent Trump supporter, as in he’s my choice of murder weapon. Now I am very worried that what he might be is just another egomaniac that pushes even father than obungle ever did. Whether that push is to the right or left, it does not bode well for the Citizen’s. Reminds me of something along… Read more »

…¡Yeb! is as dead as a door nail….

Shouldn’t it be “¡Heb!”–as in Juan?
