And To Address Another Bit of Hysteria

Here’s the video of three kids performing, of their own free will, a patriotic song about American Pride and independence in Pensacola, FL (that’s a military base, in case you’ve been living under a rock for the last century):

We hear one reference to Donald Trump, right in the first verse, and it’s to point out that negotiating from weakness is a bound to fail. Gee, we never knew that was a controversial statement. The rest is about being proud of America and spreading liberty and that it’s not easy. All terribly “controversial”, we’re sure.

Which is being compared to this, a bunch of elementary school kids being told to praise Unser Führer, Barack Hussein Obama, because he’s “going to change the world.” No mention of America or our founding principles, just how we all need to praise Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama.

Same thing, if you’re an imbecile.

Thatisall.

1 year. 1 week, 2 days and 5 hours, (as of this posting) remain until we are finally free of the Obama tyranny.

Yes, but don’t count your chickens just yet.

We may be in the midst of the run up to Rev.2.0 only most don’t see it – yet.

When the Donks pull every trick – raise the dead to vote, stuff the boxes, game the electronics, bus in the illegals, pay the indigent and have most of the R leadership on their side, it could well be that Cankles wins. Then whattaya gonna do?

Those hanging chad drills in FL were just the warm-up, not to mention the militarization of the FedGov or the ever more likely collapse of the economy.

They have been generating pre-riot conditions in several cities which are still at low boil and ready to blow . 154 Walmarts closing represents maybe 100K low skill workers joining the unemployment lines and they are just the start, more service companies are going to be cutting between now and November.

Keep your powder dry and the Bourbon handy cause we are either going to be fighting or celebrating, there won’t be anything in between.

Just a small point, while Pensacola is heavily conservative and one of the oldest European settlements in the new world, it’s not a military base. Surrounded by several including the home of the Blue Angels, the largest test wing/range in the Air Force and the First Special Operations Wing. But a base? Uh uh…

And the Bay Center where the rally was held typically seats about 10,000 for this sort of function and the attendance was estimated at 12,000. SRO baby!

The FBI is definitely investigating Hillary. Imagine if she’s indicted. I can’t decide if it would be better coming BEFORE she’s nominated or AFTER. If the latter, watch Joe Biden unchange his mind.

And a bit OT, but I just had to:

Israel laid to rest Dafna Meir, who was stabbed to death in her home in the settlement of Otniel, near Hebron. Meir, a nurse, was a mother of six, including two foster children. Security forces are still searching for the killer. Police suspect Meir’s killer who had permission to work in Otniel. Settlements in the Hebron and Gush Etziyon regions have since banned Palestinian workers.

Palestinian Terrorism No Longer Deemed Newsworthy? Just how bloodthirsty does a Palestinian terror attack against Israelis have to be to deserve coverage?

    Oops, sorry ’bout that.

I guess I’m showing a bit of my upbringing there, I’m afraid 🙂

Any city with a strong military presence was a “base” or a “garrison” over there. Actually a quite prestigious thing to be, certainly in the more “disputed” western and southern part of the country, where not quite knowing what language you were supposed to speak until you checked out today’s newspaper was a common thing in the past.

I was, myself, lucky enough to be stationed in such a city, and it certainly didn’t hurt vis-a-vis my status with the civilian population, who were fiercely proud of their status as a “garrison/base” (and, of course, utterly blown away by my young, tall, dashing self in my snappy uniform and all that rot 😉 ).

Anyway, so I tend to think about cities like Pensacola with strong military presence as “bases” or “garrisons” automatically. Besides, I’ve been to Pensacola NAS and it utterly blew me away. Not very many things leave me breathless.

Still, I apologize for the error.
