A police officer in Philadelphia was shot multiple times, execution style, as he sat in his patrol car, by a man wearing what witnesses described as “Muslim garb” – and not only did he survive, but the suspect was soon-after caught.
The suspect, Edward Archer, 30, of Yeadon, has given a full confession, saying he did it in the name of Islam, according to CBS News. Sources also told Eyewitness News that Archer provided the confession in written form, and his police testimony was recorded on camera, as well.

…”but officials have not said if they believe religion was a factor.”
Police haven’t said anything about the possible motive.
REPORTER: So does anybody know anything about the motive at this point?
OFFICIAL: No. We have absolutely no idea.

Cologne’s head of police has been suspended after allegations he withheld information on the New Year’s Eve sexual assaults. The state’s interior minister said to expect more details from the investigation next week.
The city’s police chief, Wolfgang Albers, was provisionally relieved of his duties, North Rhine Westphalia’s Interior Minister Ralf Jäger told journalists in the state capital of Düsseldorf on Friday. “This step is important so that public trust and the Cologne police’s ability to act can be restored,” Jäger said, justifying his decision.
Of course, in his “defense”, if he HAD said anything, he would have been “relieved of his duties” too, because RACISM!
