And Dr. Carson Knocks It Out Of The Park

The sly smirk as he delivers the last line is the best part.

Full disclosure, I know Dr. Carson personally. I can attest that he is a man of true character and integrity. What you see and hear when he speaks is the real Dr. Carson, not a slick package groomed by a political consultant. He is an honest to God down to Earth person who remembers where he came from and loves his country. I spoke to him quite a few times while he was debating whether or not to run. His answer was always that he was praying on it and listening to the people. He is becoming more informed and more articulate on some issues that he has never before been forced to devote a inordinate amount of intellectual effort on, but he is a solid conservative at his core, and a good, moral man in his soul. His faith isn’t circumspect, his beliefs are not newly discovered, and he doesn’t back away from his statements, especially when he speaks common sense and the media tries to pull a “gotcha”. Anyone who has studied pisslam at all KNOWS that it isn’t compatible with the Constitution.

“I have problems with somebody who embraced all the doctrines associated with Islam. If they are not willing to reject Sharia and all the portions of it that are talked about in the Quran — if they are not willing to reject that, and subject that to American values and the Constitution, then of course, I would,”

Jake Tapper -“You seem to be signaling out Muslims as individuals who automatically, as a knee-jerk, would put their religion ahead of the country. I think that offended a lot of people, including a lot of patriotic Muslims. You’re an African-American. You know what it’s like for people to make false assumptions about you, and you seem to be doing the same thing with Muslims. … You’re assuming that Muslim Americans put their religion ahead of the country.”

“I’m assuming that if you accept all the tenets of Islam that you would have a very difficult time abiding under the Constitution of the United States.” BOOM.

And his wife is quite a baker too. 🙂

“Knee-jerk?” That would be Jake Crapper.

Tapper, normally a fair-to-middlin’ journalist, seems unaware that Islam requires exactly that from all Muslims. Also, he should spend a few CPU cycles reflecting on the name of the foremost Muslim mouthpiece group: the “Council on American-Islamic Relations.” That explicitly puts Islam on the level of a national allegiance — and it’s deliberate.

Free ebook: Caliphate, by Col. Kratman (ret.)

A novel about a rather nasty future where Europe is under Muslim rule – the Caliphate.

The single greatest problem that western civilization seems to have with Islam is confusing it with religion. It is not a religion, at least in any way that Christians, Jews, Protestants or other prevalent first world bodies of faith would understand the word. This creates circumstances that are ripe for exploitation by Islamic adherents, since most first worlders tend to think of Islam as just another faith, with the right to compete with the others for share of mind and heart. Faith, it is reasoned, is generally a positive thing, inclined to be supportive of the traits that lead to a better, stronger society. Besides, many progressives will say, most Muslims are ‘moderate Muslims’.

But Islam is not a religion. It is a borderless totalitarian state on a mission of conquest. The book of the Koran, which describes the rules that govern the practice of Islam, reads like a ninth century Rules for Radicals. It presents an unbridgeable differentiation between its practitioners and everyone else that would have made Mengele blush. Islam, through these teachings, sanctions deception, rape, theft and murder under a frighteningly wide variety of circumstances. No other modern religion even comes close to the violence of thought and action espoused within the Koran.

It is as if a primitive precursor to the religions of recorded history has somehow managed to survive the development of civilization and the Age of Reason to reach us intact in all its brutality today, rather like encountering a T-Rex on the way to the mailbox.

In 1899, a young Winston Churchill wrote these words in The River War about Islam, following his own close personal observations:

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property—either as a child, a wife, or a concubine—must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die. But the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science—the science against which it had vainly struggled—the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.” – –

As Churchill understood, and Crunchie recently pointed out, Europe has lost it’s faith, and Churchill’s words of more than a century ago appear most prophetic today.

The fight for survival of individualism is in the balance – Islam is a construct of the most totalitarian form of collectivism; subjugating women to a form of slavery, imperiling the emotional health of abused children and perpetuating a cycle of hatred and violence wherever it is practiced. Further, we need to realize that there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. Such a person would not condone the teachings of the Koran, and would therefore not be a Muslim.

Tolerance be damned. There is no place for Islam in America.

A truely inspirational American. Dr. Carson is cut from the cloth that used to make this country great. During a time when innovation and industriousness was a hallmark of success. We can only hope a man of his caliber and beliefs once again holds the greatest office in our republic.

Tapper has been at his throat every interview. While not at all unbiased or metered in his application of 1984-esque Newspeak and double talk, it shows that the left sees Carson as a genuine threat to their constituency. Tapper continuously tried to bait him into declaring himself an Uncle Tom by equating Pisslam (I’m stealing that one from Crunchie) to being disinfranchized as a black American. This did two amazing things:

    1. Exposed Tapper as a one trick pony dancing to a broken record when he couldn’t bait Carson into the discussion.
    2. Showed his ignorance by equating an ideology to an ethnicity as an apples to apples comparison, showing that his journalism degree isn’t worth the crayon its written with.

I kinda wish Dr. Carson had a little more press and media training though, but then again maybe not? Although Dr. Carson seemed a little subdued and muted at times, it came across to me as genuine and sincere without the grandstanding and rhetoric of the life-long politicians we’ve all come to loathe and distrust. I just hope the undecideds or independents see that as well.

Ben Carson holds an aire of class and sophistication that seems to be lacking amongst Republican candidates. All the while remaining relatable as an American success story. This man appears Reaganistic (to coin a phrase?) and is a fantastic reminder that our amazing culture of Constitutionalism and industry is rising from the depths of this current leftist, Islamo-Fascist occupation.

As for whichever socialist anti-American mouth-breather the left sends up, they’ll end up drooling on their Chinese-made Velcro sneakers by the time Carson is done with them!

I hope the GOP realizes it’s time to make a plan to back Carson full-force as opposed to the sour grapes that can stem from a “walk-on” Republican candidate.

Praying for good things ahead Dr. Carson! Godspeed!

Dr Carson got that shit right on the money. And that taqqiya is part of their espoused belief system. It’s a reasonable bet to doubt anything any of them say. :em03:
