Happy Belated 4th

“How can it be happy?”, you might ask, pointing rightly to the seemingly endless line of grievances, insults, defeats and crimes our beloved Republic has suffered at the hands of our enemies.

To which I answer: “For the same reason any birthday is a happy occasion, no matter what the temporary circumstances might be at the time of its celebration, namely that it is a celebration of yet another year, of something that, no matter what else, yet exists.”

It might be barely recognizable to our Founding Fathers, that much is certainly true, but yet it exists. It lives on in the hearts and minds of millions, and that which is remembered in such a way may never die.

I have mentioned it before, and I shall continue reminding everybody, myself especially, that the Soviet fascists thought themselves invincible too once, only to see their “empire” ground into dust within mere decades. They fell not to the force of arms, but to the memories living within the hearts of those they thought defeated for all time. And fall they did.

Our enemies face an even stronger and more implacable foe. They face a whirlwind they themselves have sown. They face the pent-up anger of people who are well-armed, well-trained and very resourceful. They face the wrath of millions who aim to misbehave. Unknown millions everywhere. They will never see it coming until it is too late. They will reap the just desserts in millions of ways, big and small, until they are no more and they succumb to millions of cuts and bruises.

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

But today we celebrate. Today we remember, so that this Republic of ours will never be forgotten.

G-d Bless the United States of America

I refer to it as Independence Day. Now we’re beginning to see people who have no idea what the 4th means.

That’s the ‘MONEY’ shot right there, and no, our enemies will not be expecting it at all. They rest on their alleged progressive schemes and machinations, patting each other on the back, but not looking outward towards the angry masses forming.

This year I chose to view the 4th of July as a remembrance of a nation that has passed.

I will not “celebrate” it again until the streets gush with the blood of the millions of traitors who have worked so hard to destroy what my ancestors fought to build.

Looks like vacation in or moving to Greece on retirement is going to be a real deal with the Neo Drachma at 1000 to the dollar :em01:

The way we are going, it may be the next safe haven for freedom, heck, they ignore all their own laws anyway.

I don’t care if Gates and Buffett do buy the whole mess. Or if Putin tops their offer. Doesn’t matter to me, one way or the other. I’m an American, and I’ll live and die in the U.S.A., or what’s left of it.

The bastards can kill me, but they can’t run me off!!!

I agree with Misha. The arc of history always bends toward the truth. Independence Day must be remembered by all people of character as the official birthday celebration of the greatest set of ideas about individual freedom to ever be incorporated in a government structure. Mankind’s indulgence of its weaknesses of the last hundred years have been responsible for the great distance our culture has traveled from the wisdom of this initial organization and its early refinements. But the idea of true individualism has been let loose on the earth, and there will always be those who understand its stunning power and promise, all of which renders the history of all collectivist states at once primitive and inconsequential.

When the pain of entropy, decline, servitude and frustration grow to the tipping point, anger will finally overcome fear, and the cities will catch fire, ushering in the end of this shameful era of selfishness, stupidity, spite and amorality. Let us hope that people arise to lead us back to a purposeful civilization based upon individualism, freedom, merit, and trust.

    Keep the torch lit.

Yeah…life intrudes. I put my long time family dog down today. Waiting for the sheriff’s letter of eviction ( all my stall tactics have got me to this) This may be the last month I can post from my home. The hoods ready to pop and I notice the silence. That’s the silence that stretches time and gives fuel to FUD; before the volcano blows, while waiting for the surgeon’s diagnosis, the train is heading for assured destruction. FUD?
Or GWBD, and that’s sure gonna’ make things interesting,
Silent Rottie dogs should be avoided and not provoked.

Well, the whole thing is moot. Because Obama got on his knees, groveled and kissed the boots of the mullahs and has now given them the nuclear bomb. And right outside the negotiations they shouted “Death to America!”

    But first they’ll destroy Israel.

Obama is an enemy of the state and wants it destroyed. And meanwhile, everyone walks around doing their daily errands.
