It’s All Over But the Mewling

We would have ended the previous post with “Deus Vult!”, but this craven dreck from some clowns who call themselves “The Catholic League” made us hesitate:

Bill Donohue comments on the killing of 12 people at the Paris office of the newspaper Charlie Hebdo:
Killing in response to insult, no matter how gross, must be unequivocally condemned. That is why what happened in Paris cannot be tolerated. But neither should we tolerate the kind of intolerance that provoked this violent reaction.

This under the headline “Muslims Are Right to Be Angry”, mind you.

Apparently, to the “Catholic League”, murdering a dozen innocent people for having an opinion you don’t like is just “anger.” And understandable anger at that.

And kindly note the “but-monkery” used by that cockless, faithless, prostrate, craven lickspittle, Bill Donohue.

“Killing in response to insult, no matter how gross, must be unequivocally condemned.”

BUT

Those Charlie Hebdo characters, with their intolerance, provoked their own murders.

Which means, put in plain English, “they bloody well asked for it.”

Or, if you like, murdering people because they offend you is bad, but it’s no worse than the offense itself.

Way to go, “Catholic League.”

Somewhere in Heaven Pope Urban II is pleading with G-d to please be allowed back down here so he can kick your worthless asses to shreds.

If anything ever called for an excommunication, this would be it. But we’re not sure that’s possible, seeing as you’re obviously neither Catholic nor Christian to begin with.

Why don’t you go get sodomized by a sheikh, you worthless waste of sperm? You’ve all but dropped trou and offered your flabby arse to the Saracens already, and we suspect you might like it.

Thatisall.

Oh, and the cartoon that, in the opinion of Bill Donohue and the “Catholic League” justifies the murder of 12 people? This is it:

220px-Charliehebdo

The text reads: “100 lashes if you don’t die of laughter”

Yes, that absolutely warrants murder. We see the error of our ways now.

We suppose that us posting that cartoon, something that nobody in the vaunted “free press” of the United States has the balls to do, now makes it OK in your eyes for the subhumans you love so well to come murder me, my wife and my children. They’d better bring friends, and we’d love for them to bring you too. Them, we’d just kill. You, we’d make a blood eagle on. Just for the heck of it.

Fuck you, Bill Donohue, fuck you with a rusty scimitar.

Sure, Muslims come into a Western country, demand all manner of special accommodations for their creed and their savage customs, create “no go zones” where police and firemen dare not go, and are right to be angry about being lampooned for their absurdly violent fairy tale of a “religion.” Of course! It’s only what Christians do in Islamic countries when we immigrate to…oh, wait…

The Financial Times had another knothead who said this was basically blaming the victims. His name is Tony Barber and I found his quote on Politico. (It seems the original is paywalled. Imaging that?) I quoted it on my blog, but I’ll post the relevant parts here.

Charlie Hebdo has a long record of mocking, baiting and needling French Muslims. If the magazine stops just short of outright insults, it is nevertheless not the most convincing champion of the principle of freedom of speech. France is the land of Voltaire, but too often editorial foolishness has prevailed at Charlie Hebdo.

This is not in the slightest to condone the murderers, who must be caught and punished, or to suggest that freedom of expression should not extend to satirical portrayals of religion. It is merely to say that some common sense would be useful at publications such as Charlie Hebdo, and Denmark’s Jyllands-Posten, which purport to strike a blow for freedom when they provoke Muslims, but are actually just being stupid.

Had a friend once, who had a big, hard-headed Chesapeake Bay retriever (is there any other kind?). The dog was a monster on ducks and geese, going over and above what most retrievers would do to bring home the bird. But his good behavior was predicated on how likely he thought it was that’d you’d bust his ass for screwing up. As long as he was convinced that you’d run him down and beat him within an inch of his life for transgressing, he was fine (Please note: You didn’t have to do it, but you had to make him believe that you COULD). But the minute he thought he could get away with something, it was Rowdytime downtown!

Muzzies seem to be like that. As long as they can get away with it (or think they can) they will do whatever suits them. At some point, folks are gonna figure this out (not governments, FOLKS, like you ‘n me, fr’instance) and then we’re gonna wind up playing an extended game of Cowboys and Muslims.

I’m really surprised that someone in one of the Muslim-infested European countries hasn’t tried it already, but I give it three, maybe four years at the outside, before the pushback happens, and when it does, it’s not gonna be pretty!

First I’d like to say that the SCFOAMF does not speak for me. As was mentioned above, it’s time to let the jihadis know that we are playing muslims and Cowboys now. I have muslim friends, they have never ever said that any of the terrorist attacks by the religion of peace was a bad thing. Well killing cartoonists is the last straw for me. G_d gave man the capability of humor to satire ourselves and each other, to let each of us know that our actions are visible to an audience and that action is open for comment. So to my muslim friends I say “aloha snack bar.” And to the people of France “Je suis Charlie.” ( big hat tip to Chris Muir at DBD)

More lunacy from the “Charlie Hebdo deserved it” crows.

Just 4 years ago, the office was firebombed by Muslim extremists, enraged at the satirical magazine’s depiction of the Prophet Mohammed. At the time, the Paris Bureau Chief for Time Magazine, Bruce Crumley, published a surprising column.

Here is what he said about the French magazine’s cartoons critical of Islam in an article entitled “Firebombed French Paper is No Free Speech Martyr:”

Not only are Islamophobic antics (his description of Charlie Hebdo’s political cartoons) futile and childish, but they also openly beg for the very violent responses from extremists their authors claim to proudly defy in the name of common good. What common good is served by creating more division and anger, and by tempting belligerent reaction?

So where is Crumley today? Apparently he left Time Magazine and now works for Al-Jezeera, one of the only prominent news organizations whose staff is currently debating whether the French Magazine deserves support or condemnation for taking the stand for which so many of its staff paid the ultimate price.

I am very glad Obama didn’t go to Paris. The sheer hypocrisy of his personal appearance at the head of a column of people denouncing Islamic terrorism and promoting free speech would have been too much to bear. Although Turkey’s head scumbag showed up, along with a few others who have voiced support for efforts to clamp down on anti-Islamic speech, so Der Fubar would have had some company.

Obama didn’t go because every time he finds himself in the company of world leaders, he is outclassed and outmaneuvered. He’d have been at the kids table for dinner again, and Merkel would probably ask him to fetch her limousine, and he hates that.

I would, however, have preferred that he sent Biden, because if something bad happened to him, maybe the GOP would reconsider impeachment proceedings against the Felon-in-Chief. If it were up to me, Holder would be put on the terrorist watch list right about now, and be unable to get back into the US.

Actually, both positions have merit. One the one hand, the leader of the ‘free world’ is extremely conspicuous by his absence. Especially since the first head of state to arrive at the White House after 9/11 came from France. He should have at least sent Biden. On the other hand, Obama would have looked like a tarantula on a wedding cake if he had shown up, since we all know where he stands on Islam and support of the First Amendment (or any other part of the Constitution, for that matter).

You make the dichotomy of opinion into criticism of conservatives. The reality is that this is the bed Obama has made for himself among people who refuse to take direction from the media. Liberals flock together, so unanimity of opinion comes easily. Conservatives tend to do their own thinking, which means a plurality of opinions on most everything. This is not a bug in a free republic, but a feature. It just looks odd to you.

Just to be sure though, we can apply the classic test. Picture the liberal media reaction to a decision by GWB not to attend the march in Paris, were he still in office.
