The Long March Continues

So a nice lady tries to throw oil on the waters and emphasize that ALL lives matter in the wake of the idiot savage murder rampages after the Ferguson non-incident, and she gets butchered for using the word “all” instead of “black”?

“We are united in our insistence that all lives matter,” read the e-mail, in which [Smith College President Kathleen McCartney] made clear she was strongly behind the [Eric Garner/Michael Brown] protests, writing that the grand jury decisions had “led to a shared fury… We gather in vigil, we raise our voices in protest.”

But she soon received backlash from students for her phrasing. They were offended that she did not stick with the slogan “black lives matter.”…

In response to student backlash, McCartney apologized in another campus-wide email Friday, saying she had made a mistake “despite my best intentions.”…

“I regret that I was unaware the phrase/hashtag “all lives matter” has been used by some to draw attention away from the focus on institutional violence against Black people,” she wrote.

Alright, check. It’s not like His Imperial Majesty is surprised, but at least we’ve now confirmed that some lives matter more than others. How very racist of you.

This country is fucked.

At least until somebody has the stones to stand up and say “shut the fuck up” to the worthless wastes of skin.

Of course they were outraged by the idea that all lives matter. Can’t have the Khmer Rouge thinking of the kulaks as real people when liquidation time comes round.

The “protesters” are, without explicitly saying so, demanding a blanket immunity from arrest, prosecution, and perhaps even accusation for all persons of skin color darker than my pasty Irish-American self. Imagine what they could do with that!

This story is one for the books. Being forced to apologize for saying that “all lives matter”. Just let that sink in. This is the United States of America. It is not Mugabe’s Zimbabwe.

I would like to believe that political correctness is becoming a parody of itself, and that the people caught up in it will begin to see through to the absurdity of some of the behaviors it compels of the weak-minded. Just maybe, the pendulum has reached the end of it’s arc with this insane situation, and slowly begins its return.

Or not. I saw a study recently that has tracked the IQ of people in the United States and Europe over several decades, and charts a substantial decline, such that a measured IQ of 100 is now decidedly above-average. This is in spite of the fact that college attendance among the young is at an all-time high, thanks in no small part to the jobless economy and ready availability of federal student loans (another looming disaster).

At least until somebody has the stones to stand up…

Haven’t seen that in quite a while. About as close as we’ve come in recent years is Cruz last fall.

We are witnessing the rise of the democracy the Founders warned us about. It’s commonly known as mob rule.
It’s growing because the people whose job it is to oppose it are cowards.

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

    Orwell really was a prophet.

Could someone please tell the Deamoncrats/Communists that 1984 was a warning not an instruction manual.
