Wonder Why You, For the First Time, Can’t Get a Quote on Health Insurance for 2015 in November?

It’s because you’re living under the Most Transparent Administration in History™, that’s why.

Because secrecy = transparency.

Once again: 1984 was a cautionary tale, not an instruction manual. Tell that to the next Prozi (Progressive Socialist(Democrat)) you meet. Preferably before you shoot him in the face.

This year, for the first time in 20 years I can not even quote a replacement product because Barack Obama has issued a GAG ORDER to the health insurance industry instructing them not to disclose their January 2015 health insurance rates until after the mid-term elections.

Which, we’re sure, is wholly coincidental and absolutely NOT politically motivated. We’re sure we’ll all be pleasantly surprised when Reichsführer Obola finally announces the low, low rates we’ll be paying in 2015. Because if not, Weepy Boner will threaten to file a lawsuit.

OK, you can stop laughing now. He won’t threaten with that until the summer of 2016, when he next needs to convince the GOP voting sheeple that he’s diff’runt from the Prozi Party. And then he’ll promptly forget about it again.

Thanks a lot, Obola voters!

But, but, the Preznit said that our premiums would drop by $2500, and that if we liked our doctor we could keep our doctor, and that if we liked our plan we could keep our plan, and that Katy Perry would come around and let us have a squeeze on her ginormous funbags. Politifact rated all of these promises as “mostly true” too.
Surely you’re not saying that the ideology that murdered 200 million people in the 20th century to gain & hold power would lie to gain & hold power.
[I am saying that, and don’t call me Shirley.]

I’m still trying to understand how that whng can tell insurance companies that they can’t post their new rates. WHere inth hell does he get THAT power from?

0007 “WHere inth hell does he get THAT power from?”

He gets it from his vast armies of unelected, shadow government enforcers like the IRS using the rogue appointed activist judicial branch as legal cover. But you already knew that. 🙂

People who voted for Obama in 2008 were stupid (ignorant if you want to play nice).

People who voted for Obama in 2012 are traitors.

Here, I will try to explain it for you guys. The insurance companies release rates that are filed with and approved by HHS. So if HHS holds onto the 2015 rate structures due to ummmm…errrrrr…….transparency then the carriers really have nothing to produce.
Based on doing group health for nearly 20 years all of those years in the NJ Reform Market, I can tell you these renewals will be around 15 to 18% in the reform states (NJ, NY, MA and NM) because the rates were already high and around 40 to 50% in states that once had a real insurance marketplace.
HHS is actually breaking insurance law because they are required by law to have new and renewal rates filed, approved and released 90 days prior to that renewal date. That means if they release December or January rates, they are non compliant. If a carrier were to try this stunt they would be fined and sanctioned out the ass.
