Yes He Does Answer Our Prayers-Awesome Update !!!!!

No offense to our gentle readers about whether there is or isn’t a L-rd and Master of the Universe, but I’ve been blessed by Him. After a brief, unexpected and outright dishonest loss of employment, He, who is in control (and created) what we choose to call the Universe has chosen to bless me personally with an opportunity that has virtually limitless possibilities.

Those that screwed me over this last month will regret one simple fact. I’m a Rottie-Conservative Bastich through and through and not just another piece of breathing offal to toss aside for not being a part of your everyday sheeple to cast aside when the crack of the whip to give up my personal integrity fails. Dontcha’ just love it, when a corporation that preaches one thing and yet condones to the point of turning an essentially blind eye to dishonesty and thoroughly corrupt (and illegal) practices to continue. All in the name of the pursuit of the almighty dollar and dividends to the stockholders. Fuck them all. They picked the wrong person, the wrong time and the wrong reason for killing the whistle-blower. They haven’t heard the last from me not by a long shot. The Republic of Texas is already on the case. Yanno, one can only fake the Texas Two-Step for a finite period before one has to pay the fiddler. The consequences are horrific, but fuck ’em, they chose to mess with the wrong person.

Maybe Poet Dylan Thomas knew what he was speaking of here:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieve it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

My prayers go out to those among us already out of employment or on the verge of not being employed. I suppose my only thought along these lines is that He has a plan the ken of which we cannot fathom. Yet at the end of days, all will be well. This I know to be true, if only I will have the patience to see it all through.

Selah….Selah…..

I’m glad things are looking up for you. I’m still dealing with my impending job loss at the end of the year. I’ve already contacted my favorite resume guy and sent him what I need for updates.
A recruiter called me this morning asking my status. “Funny you should ask”
I’ve got a few people looking around for me inside their companies.

One guy where I work now was stunned that I wasn’t offered a job in “New Company” He understands what it takes to do my job, since he used to do it.

At least I have a severance package. That’s an actual first for me. Usually it’s been “Get out and don’t let the door hit you.” Thankfully, I don’t use the company insurance, I’ve been using my own since the last time I was tossed out the door and found out what a ripoff KOBRA is. And it’s grandfathered so I have protection from Obamacrap.

Yes Sir, Just got off the phone with my new boss ~~!!!!! Woo-Hoo, they’re throwing me into a shit-storm, but that’s where I thrive. Can-Do,Will-Do and a promise to make sure this will happen to someone in very high-level management. It’s not often one gets to speak with an exec board member this soon in such a large company. I assured him that I have the skills, ability and motivation needed to turn things around and not a bit scared to take-over !!!!! Keep outta’ my way and only give me the support I need from mid-level management to complete the mission. Otherwise keep outta’ my way and let me make some money for the company. Let the ass kickings begin. The immediate boss laughed to tears at hearing this coming from me on the conference call.

I was assuredthat the efforts would NOT be over-looked.

G-d is good and great !!!!

God always has a plan. He wont tell you what it is, you wont get any advance bulletins, you wont get any breaks..but everything happens according to His will.

God also answers all prayers..sometimes the answer is no. Put your faith in Him.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber . Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep . The LORD is thy keeper : the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Why did you start this post by apologizing for your faith?

Congrats JB! Always good to hear something other than the depressing cluster-fuckedness our republic has slid into.

    God bless brother.

    Good on Ya! :em01:

Oh, and make sure you spit in your former employers’ eye, early and often. :em05:

Good Job. I spent just over 6 months out of work this year. Started my shift and was called into the bosses office and was greeted by the director of HR. Was told that they were reducing the size of the management staff and was given my severance package to review. I tried getting on at two other racino’s near Cleveland but couldn’t come to terms. I applied to the new one near Youngstown and was hired. I’m not a manager but the Lord’s hand of providence is with me.

It’s good that you got going. I will pray you do well.

I’m in the process of getting my resume updated. I already have a lead on something and I”m looking for something internally. Personally, I don’t want to spit in the eye of my company, just my current manager. I have no doubt this was his idea.
I’ve been talking to others in my division, some I’ve known since we were an unacquired startup. They’ve all said the same thing as they’ve learned who’s staying and who’s going.
“Are they trying to fail this new company? These are the most experienced people we have!”
    :em08:
In my case, I’m a systems/applications administrator in the energy sector. I’ve been working on the Demand/Response side of things for years.
I hope the new company enjoys dealing with all the stuff I was. No one’s bothered to actually reach out and ask me about how I have things configured. (All documented for the most part, but there’s always a detail somewhere)
