Listen, His Imperial Majesty has about had it with the level of idiocy the debate about the child molesting TSA has descended to but, then again, we never had a very high tolerance for idiots to begin with. Witness the name of the site.
From the traditionally retarded left we have the nonsensical cries that those of us who object to 3-year-olds being sexually assaulted in the name of “safety” are hypocrites because we were the ones to demand better security after the religion of piss murdered about 3,000 of our countrymen and, much worse, from the supposedly intelligent right we have some utter morons suggesting that it’s somehow “necessary” to stick probes up the arses of octogenarian Medal of Honor holders in order to keep our country safe.
Both sides are, of course, utter and complete morons.
To address the loony lefties first yes, we did demand better security after it turned out that a bunch of apes with box cutters were capable of committing the worst attack on our homeland in the history of our nation. Those with a memory, the kind that is not selective, will also remember that we were the exact same ones who cried foul and demanded an end to the nonsense when it turned out that what we were going to get was yet another politically correct, unionized bunch of burger flippers in uniform whose task and orders from on high would virtually guarantee that they’d never stop a single actual terrorist. The decade that came after proved us right. Not a single one of the actual terrorist attempts against our airlines were even mildly inconvenienced by our allegedly “professionalized” federal “security” agency.
As we predicted, based on historical evidence that any attempt by a government incompetocracy will inevitably turn into a bigger clusterfuck than a lockjaw epidemic at a cock suckers’ convention, the only effect the TSA had was on our federal bottom line, as in “driving it even deeper into the red.”
We repeat: Not a single farking terrorist attempt was thwarted by Dasshole’s Rangers. The ones that we have had were all stopped by passengers who, in spite of the federal government’s best attempts at making sure they couldn’t defend themselves in the face of murderous intent, managed to subdue the terrorists.
It is argued, in spite of any evidence to support the allegation, that the federal governments “security measures” have made it harder to be a terrorist. What can’t be argued is that the innocent civilians of our nation have become a heck of a lot more creative at coming up with ways of subduing actual terrorists after the TSA have let them board the plane. That’s a good thing, we suppose.
As to the claim that us crazy, totalitarian right wing nuts are “unrealistic” and “unreasonable” in our “opposition” to airport security measures, we have only this to say: It is not that we have a problem with actual measures to make airline travel safer, we never had, it’s that we have a problem with a “security system” that is designed with one purpose in mind: to avoid offending anybody likely to actually commit a terrorist attack while making life living hell for everybody who isn’t.
Explain this to us: How does molesting three-year-olds make flying safer? Was 9/11 done by Caucasian three-year-olds with explosives in their binkys? How does anally probing old people in wheel chairs make flying safer? Was 9/11 the act of crazed octogenarians with a grudge against Medicare and AK-47s cleverly hidden in their prosthetics? How does sexually assaulting pilots make flying safer? Remember, they’re the ones driving the fucking planes, so it’s kind of unlikely, should they harbor a desire to plow a furrow for Allah with their plane, that they’d put the plane on autopilot, unstrap their harness and go threaten to kill a stewardess with a nail file unless they be given control of the plane they were already flying.
We have a perfectly valid and precise profile of just who is likely to murder a few thousand people in the name of Allah, piss be upon him, and part of that profile is that they believe in Allah to begin with. Another part is that they all are between the ages of 18-45, they’re male and they tend to have a tan.
Just how does a blond, three-year-old person of pallor fit into that?
What we demanded after 9/11 was an effort, a directed, intelligent effort to keep an eye on individuals likely to perpetrate a follow-up. NOT a bloated, incompetent, ineffectual federal agency whose prime directive is to not, under any circumstance, do anything that might make the ones most likely to commit a terrorist act sue us for “discrimination”.
Instead we got a complete clusterfuck, which is pretty much what we’ve come to expect whenever the government gets involved.
And don’t give us the “oh but it’s hard” either. El Al has been doing it for four decades without a single failure, so it’s not like we’re asking anybody to invent cold fusion here.
Yes, we’ll put up with security measures, even if they’re inconvenient. But we won’t put up with crap designed only to bloat the federal budget while avoiding to do anything that might be even remotely effective out of fear that they might hurt the feelings of those who want to murder us.
