UPDATE: We should clarify: The “11 years ago” was when the interview was done. Her actual “dabbling” happened back in high school. Next, the establishment RINOs will start lambasting her for returning a book late to the school library. Because of the unity, of course.
We’re not even going to dignify the latest lame attack on Christine O’Donnell from the increasingly desperate loony left (on both sides of the aisle) with a link, we’re just going to say: “She dabbled in witchcraft? BURN HER!!!”
“Dabbled in witchcraft.” As did anybody who ever played with a Ouija Board. Big whoop.
Really, now, is that the best you can do? Really?
Well, we know for sure that Bill Maher and Think Regress aren’t trying to mobilize the left against her with that nonsense, so the only logical conclusion is that they still live under the delusion that anybody who isn’t a masturbating sodomite believing in no god or goddess other than themselves will he horrified, horrified that she had a date with somebody who might have been a Wiccan 11 years ago.
To the point where they’ll immediately throw the election to a truly godless self-described Marxist.
Which is good, because it only proves that they still don’t understand the next thing about what makes us tick.
Maybe if they spent a little less time jacking off to liberal stereotypes and a little more time actually observing the world around them… But then they wouldn’t be the community-based reality, would they?
Here’s another thing that the liberal fascists don’t understand about faith: It’s not something you’re born with, it’s something you find. It takes longer for some people, but that’s utterly irrelevant. What is relevant is that once you do find it, it really doesn’t matter where you were before unless it is to give testimony to others still looking for their faith. That’s why we call it being “born again.” At that point, you start over.
It doesn’t matter whether you grew up in a household where you were dragged to church every Sunday without fail, or grew up in a godless commune reading books about the danger of religion, the “opiate of the masses”, you’re every bit as much of a Christian. To another Christian, that is. Apparently the godless liberal fascists demand a higher standard of people of faith. Who’s the “Taliban” now?
Christians don’t care, because Christians know that we’re all born sinners, that we all have to follow our own path to faith.
It’s not the path, it’s the destination.
So Christians won’t give a good hoot about Christine having gotten a bit lost in the wilderness 11 years ago, because we all once wandered in that wilderness ourselves.
All we care about is that our sister found her way out to join us and G-d, and that makes us very happy.
But, by all means, let Bill Maher and his fellow liberal fascist idiots keep shooting blanks. It won’t hurt us one little bit.
