With the astronomical number of mind-numbingly hypocritical statements issuing forth from the mouths of Teh One and his Merry Moronic Marxist Minions™, they’re going to need ANWR-sized amounts of surgical epoxy to keep their lips from completely detaching from their faces and spontaneously combusting. We could fill up a volume rivaling the Library of Congress from just the first six weeks of Obambi’s Epic Failure Follies™, but we’ll just keep it simple with this single statement that epitomizes the absolutely astounding levels of chutzpa (the bad kind) and soulless immorality that this band of Stalinist Shitheels personifies.

We bring you someone who, if he were merely a mortal, blue-collar stiff punching a clock 9-5, 5 days a week making widgets in Middle America, would be known as “Inmate No. 123456789″, instead of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner:

“Over the next several months,” he said Tuesday, “the President will propose a series of legislative and enforcement measures to reduce such U.S. tax evasion and avoidance.

Get out there and buy those stocks while you still can. Those lips aren’t going to just hold on all by themselves.

Health care reform? I gotcher health care reform right here, buddy!

I am health care. This is what I do, for over 30 fuckin’ years, day in, day out. I am an ER Nurse. I take all comers, sick or not, hurt or broken. Sick of life, and afraid to die.

If things don’t go your way, I take the whipping, the anger, the pain, the grief, and stow it all away. I give it to God, cause He told me to do this work, He gave me the Gift.

Great Britain has a system which RATIONS health care. If you’re diabetic, or for what ever reason, your kidneys die, and you’re on dialysis. The day you turn 65, you get a ‘dear limey’ letter. No more dialysis, too bad, keep a stiff upper, that’s a good brit. 7,000 a year dead cause the gubmint don’t want to pay.

Over 70 and need a pacemaker? Make do with meds or you’re dead, Fred.

No hips, knees, shoulders, or any other metal for you, Johnny Buck. These are just three examples. People die from this. And, because it’s the National Health Trust, There is no recourse. No deep pockets, No justice.

I take all comers, good or bad, pay or don’t. I don’t care. I helped save three lives today. Three Americans walk today because God gave me the Gift to do my job.

I am proud of what we do. I can’t fight this fight, I’m busy.

I need you to fight for yourselves. Be your voice. This is the fight for your lives. Defend yourselves.

My name is Chris, I am an ER Nurse.

Yet in some strange fashion I pay my bills, wondering how many house payments we will be able to make, wondering if it will even be necessary when TSHIF……no more life insurance, the law of the gun the rule. What used to matter suddenly doesn’t. Unless you are people of the gun you may be in for some small difficulties. I no longer doubt Obama, if not doing this deliberately, cares little for the people as long as they get a socialist global cabal in power. Shit, can’t even buy ammo now, hard to find. Fortunately I anticipated that. Yet my wife and I are getting by, both of us fortunately employed, any and all cash or credit to be spent on food and ammo if TSHIF. This afternoon, a Goblin invaded our apartment building on the pretext of being a Con Edison guy. My neighbor Kai saw him off, following the large black dude (shaven head, strongly built, dressed all in black) while talking with 911 on his cell phone. The guy gave him some lip, tried knocking on my door, and Kai said “Don’t open the door, Tallu.”

When the Chalk Outline Boys™ showed up, they told Kai that three people in our neighborhood had called the cops on these people. They’re trying to do push-in robberies, using the pretext that they’re selling alternate energy sources.

Sign #2: For the first time in my memory, a Korean deli has a sign saying “Cash ONLY.” The Black Market is on its way, y’all. Like mushrooms after the rain, the black markets spring up wherever the Commie Vermin pass.

The ONLY way to “reform” America’s healthcare system is to begin moving AWAY from the I-Want-My-Mommy slide towards socialized medicine, and towards individual responsibility and choice.

Healthcare is NOT a right, it’s a responsibility. If I could wave a magic wand and get everyone in the country to understand that basic principle, it would solve 90% of the so-called “crisis” overnight. The notion of healthcare as a “right” or “entitlement” is the root of the problem. This problem is not going to be solved by a jugeared Marxist freak, who flat-out stated his belief that healthcare is a “right” during the campaign season, any more than chainsmoking unfiltered Camel™ Reds is going to cure metastatic Stage IV lung cancer.

    (Warning: Rant Ahead)

Two words of warning to anyone who wants a government bureaucrat making your health care decisions for you: Workers’ Comp

Having had to deal with the umpteen layers of shit that one has to go through to get the correct (and effective) treatment for a knee injury (and having the incorrect treatment, as prescribed the by Workers’ Comp protocol, lead to further injury to the knee that wasn’t injured beforehand), I have firsthand knowledge of the nightmare that will be NAZI National Socialist Dhimmicrap Health Care.

My Workers’ Comp doctor knew exactly what my injury was (and knew that I needed surgery to fix it), but she had to put me through four weeks of physical therapy before the Workers’ Comp bureaucracy would even approve an X-ray to try and find soft tissue damage. After finding out that the X-ray didn’t show the soft tissue damage, that the doctor knew wouldn’t show up before prescribing the X-ray (thus wasting many people’s time, money, appointment slots, paper, hard drive space, my fuel and wear and tear on my vehicle), I was finally sent to an orthopedic surgeon.

After another week or so spent waiting to get in to see him, he looked at my symptoms, course of treatment (4 weeks of PT, delayed X-ray, no MRI, etc.) and asked me “Why didn’t they immediately give you an MRI and why did they put you through physical therapy?” I told him “It’s Workers’ Comp, Doc.” He knowingly shook his head and gave me an Rx for an MRI. Of course, it took another 1.5 weeks to get in for MRI at another facility, because his practice, even though their MRI room was across the hall from my treatment room, would not deal with Workers’ Comp for MRI’s, due to the ungodly headaches they’ve had in dealing with them in the past.

After getting the MRI, the results were sent to another facility to read by an MRI specialist (further delaying treatment by my ortho surgeon by at least another week), and the MRI specialist confirmed that, “Yes, there’s soft tissue damage and you need surgery to fix it.”

Well, after about 2.75 months, I finally had surgery to address the problem. I spent six weeks without being able to put an ounce of weight on my surgically-repaired knee and I went through months and months of excruciating physical therapy. Now comes the fun (and telling) part…

Guess what had happened in the mean time? Well, having to walk with a screwed-up gait and putting most of my weight on one leg (before being given crutches by my ortho after my initial visit to him), my other knee had suffered almost the exact same damage.

After I finished my post-op WC-approved PT, my other knee was hurting just as bad as my first one had when I injured it. Since my second knee hadn’t been injured “on the job” (It was only injured because of delayed/incorrect treatment as proscribed by WC protocol.), my WC claims adjuster informed me that it wasn’t covered under Worker’s Comp. Now, before you jump to the conclusion that I wasn’t happy about this (I had mixed feelings at the time), keep reading…

I went back to my ortho using my regular insurance, which happens to be accepted by his practice group. After looking at my symptoms for a few minutes and asking me questions about whether it was covered by WC, he prescribed an X-ray & and MRI, on the spot. I walked across the hall for the X-ray and set up an MRI at another facility, because they didn’t have any slots immediately open. It took about a week for all of the results to come back, see the doc and have my second surgery scheduled. All told, it took about two weeks from the time I first saw him until time I was on the operating table to have my second knee fixed. Thanks be to Odin (or your deity of choice), the damage to my second knee wasn’t as bad as the first knee, so the radical surgery (drilling holes into the bone, all the way to the marrow) and long-term post-op PT wasn’t needed, although if it had gone on for a few more weeks, it probably would have required the same repairs & PT.

    To summarize:

WC (Nationalized Health Care Lite®): Wrong/delayed treatment for 2.75 months leading to longer, more painful and more expensive treatment.

Capitalist Insurance & Docs: Two weeks and less painful/costly treatment.

You decide which system you want.

Holy Cow! I almost missed this line.

New and expanded refundable tax credits would raise the fraction of taxpayers paying no income taxes to almost 50% from 38%. This is potentially the most pernicious feature of the president’s budget, because it would cement a permanent voting majority with no stake in controlling the cost of general government.

And now we find out that in many cases the VA functionaries weren’t even opening those letters. The DUmmies blame it on the “Bush Regime”, of course, but the massive malfeasance came to light when members of the American Federation of Government Employees were offered amnesty. Thousands of unopened letters relating to claims appeared from various VA offices in places like Detroit and New York.
