I thought an open thread was in order after the week of all the Coronation Hype of the Obamessiah. Time to just shoot the bull and have some fun for a change. We can get back to riding Obie like a rented mule on Monday.
Ever since the Emperor (may all his Vodka bottles run dry) decided we needed our musical horizons expanded by introducing us to Russian and Ukrainian musicians such as Sogdiana and Glukoza, I’ve gotten hooked (dammit) on searching for more foreign groups. I found one tonight that I happen to like, so I’ll torture all of you with it, just cause I can. Neener Neener!
They are another Russian group called Serebro, and this is the english version of their song “Song #1″ that they performed on Eurovision 2007.

OK Whenever they get through moderation, the first pictures of my granddaughter are in the thread. I will have a boatload of them in late April and will post them on my seldom-used blog.
Granddaughters are God’s gift to the those that have paid their dues. Jesus loves the little children and places them in our care. The responsibility can be overwhelming at times, the fruits of our labor is immeasurable. I sometimes wish I could have had grandchildren before I had kids. Would have made a lot less mistakes. But, as every parent knows, they don’t come with a book of instructions. And when you’re in your early 20’s, you know everything and wouldn’t read it anyway.
