Oh, And NuConservatives? Why Don’t You Just Sit On It And Rotate For A While?

We’ve been waiting eagerly for the polls to come in to prove the NuConservatives right when they tell us that all of this “uncivil” protesting is really getting us nowhere and that the only true winning strategy is to double down on the meek and mild strategy that served us so well in 2006 and 2008.

And, guess what? The numbers are in. And from a consistently left-leaning outfit like Gallup too:

In a survey of 1,000 adults taken Tuesday, 34% say demonstrations at the hometown sessions have made them more sympathetic to the protesters’ views; 21% say they are less sympathetic.

Independents by 2-to-1, 35%-16%, say they are more sympathetic to the protesters now.

See? All of this calling our “loyal opposition” naughty names and “getting in their faces” (which is A-OK when you ask Ear Leader, it’s actually a Führerdiktat) is only hurting the cause according to such NuConservative luminaries like Meghan McCain (who goes to biker rallies, in case you’re wondering just how kewl she is).

As an aside to Meghan: I went to biker rallies before you were even born, yet it never once occurred to me that it made me more “hip.” What I did observe was that starry-eyed young groupies showing up to gain “street creds” were incredibly easy lays. Those were the days. Apparently they haven’t changed. The supply of gullible, easy and easily forgettable fucks hasn’t diminished. Good for you, girl.

But back to the point: This Gallup survey clearly proves that the wiser course would be to simply roll over and take it up the arse from Ear Leader in the fine tradition of NuConservatives, since all of this protesting only hurt us and turned independents away from us.

Er… Wait. It doesn’t, does it?

Listen, NuConservative S/M fans, it’s really quite simple: When a strategy causes the opposition to recede into hysterics, calling out the goons and issuing hyperbolic whines and howls, that’s generally considered a Good Sign. When the first reaction to the Town Hall meeting ruckus from the NSDWP was to order out the union goons to “get in their faces” and “get them out of the way” while denouncing them as Nazis, terrorists and worse, we knew we were on the right track.

So why don’t you NuConservatives just either shut the fuck up or go ahead and join the other party? Really. You’d be much happier. For one thing, you wouldn’t have to lie incessantly while trying desperately to ignore the reality unfolding before your squinting eyes.

Thatisall.

Due to RINOS I left the republican party, listed as in independent conservative with strong libertarian leanings. As for the NuConservatives, gutless traitors, nothing more and nothing less. I simply have no reason to support them. Actually, they should be democrats, it would be a more honest approach, and in truth I would have more respect for a democrat with identical views than I would a RINO, for whom I have none at all. They may destroy the republican party, we have to make sure we destroy them.

NuConservatives suck. You don’t compromise with your enemy, you defeat him. You don’t weaken your message, you make it louder and stronger.

In any event, we’re really a three party nation, observe:

Group 1. The Far Left Dems (flat out communists)

Group 2. The “Blue Dogs” and RINOs (the low-fat socialists)

Group 3. Humans with more intelligence than protoplasmic ooze floating in a sewage treatment plant (real conservatives)

I’m fed up with the hand wringing, milquetoast whining fence sitters. They can’t stomach a fight, and don’t have the sense to get the hell out of the way and let those that do get the job done.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Yup, more or less. Borrowing from the British “NuLabour” which is neither one or the other, it describes those “conservatives” who believe and, more annoyingly continue to stomp their feet angrily while lecturing the rest of us ignorant non-Beltway hicks about it, that the road to true conservative victory lies in breathlessly and determinedly following the “successful” strategy of “compassionate and inclusive “conservatism”” that succeeded so well over the last 8 years.

If losing the House, Senate and 1600 Penn Ave is defined as “success”, of course.

Especially since most Americans have seen the last 6 months of “Shut up, we have to do this now!!!” on everything, they know who’s trying to shut who up. It’s especially funny to see the Dems claim they want a “civil debate” after claiming it was so important that we needed to shut up so they could get it done 2 weeks ago.

    As for this

Once upon a time when I was doing time in an A-6 squadron I saw a poster that said (paraphrasing here since I don’t remember the exact wording) the way you deal with an enemy is with your knee in his chest and your knife at his throat.
    (VA-42, 1986, if anyone cares.)

I have to wax idiotic a little because of a mix of things I heard on satellite radio this evening.

I listened to some sit-in host on “Fox Across America” on XM radio whine about ‘the guy with the sign and the gun’ and the ‘guy who tried to smuggled a gun past security into a town hall meeting’, and how they are ‘ruining the image of the mainstream conservative’. I thought (and yelled at the radio, which had no response), that the two cases are completely different. As yon emperor pointed out, guy with gun and sign did nothing wrong or illegal at any point. He held a sign. Legal. He wore a gun openly. Legal in his state. On the other hand, guy who snuck a firearm past security at a political event? As much as I believe in the right of the people to keep and bear arms, and from what I know of the situation (and I could be wrong, I’m not going to say that the police there ‘acted stupidly’) dude was in the wrong. If there’s security there, and they’re screening for weapons, you either attend without weapons or you don’t attend. There is a huge difference here. One guy was right, one guy was wrong, but they all got lumped in by the substitute talk show host who wrung his hands and said, “they’re making ‘mainstream conservatives’ look bad!”. He further, and quite amusingly, stated that this type of person was going to cause the leftardomass to marginalize, criticize and whateverelsize ‘maintstream conservatives’. As if the left will respect anyone who disagrees with them no matter how they behave.

Maybe I would not have been so riled up if I had not also just listened to the song “Winds of Change” by the Scorpions and remembered that video. The one that showed the tearful reunions of families who couldn’t see each other despite living within ten miles of each other…the one filled with the hope of a new and uncertain future of a bunch of people who had just been set free from the bonds of extreme socialism…anyway, I don’t think it’s far off to say I’m preaching to the choir here.
