One good thing about having a Demonrat gaggle of gobsmackingly incompetent imbeciles in charge is that some issues, such as the horror of homelessness sweeping the nation, promptly disappear from news media as soon as the new communist is sworn in.
Then, on the other hand, equally predictable, we have to endure four years of increasingly hysteric articles about extremist militias (h/t Cold Fury):
Titled “The Modern Militia Movement,” the report is dated Feb. 20 and designed to help police identify militia members or domestic terrorists. Red flags outlined in the document include political bumper stickers such as those for U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, talk of conspiracy theories such as the plan for a mega-highway from Canada to Mexico and possession of subversive literature.
“Subversive literature?” In the United States of America? Dang, this is beginning to sound more like the Soviet Union with every passing day. Better hide your Heinlein books, LCs and, we suppose, your copies of the “unreasonably restrictive” document, the Constitution. Just quoting Jugears Hussein al-Chicago here.
And no matter how many times His Imperial Majesty has pointed fingers and made fun of Ron Paul, he has never once feared that a Paulite, no matter how dedicated, would some day blow up his kids’ daycare, much less fly airliners into skyscrapers. Obviously, we were all wrong about that.
But when Neal read the report, he couldn’t help but think it described him. A military veteran and a delegate to the 2008 Missouri Republican state convention, he didn’t appreciate being lumped in with groups like the Neo-Nazis.
Nobody does, but such is the reality you’re facing if you’re somebody voting to the right of Pol Pot. The libtards, being forever cut off from the aid and comfort of reason and intelligent argument due to their severely curtailed intellects, must perforce resort to frothing screams of either “NAZI!” or “RACIST!” when faced with logic. Which is really ironic considering that Nazis are totalitarian progressive fascists and that no party was ever more racist than their beloved Demonrat National Socialist Party.
But state law enforcement officials said the report is being misinterpreted. Lt. John Hotz of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the report was compiled by the Missouri Information Analysis Center based in Jefferson City and comes purely from publically available, trend data on militias.
Hotz said MIAC, which opened in 2005, is a “fusion center” that combines resources from the federal Department of Homeland Security and other agencies. It was set up to collect local intelligence to better combat terrorism and other criminal activity, he said.
“All this is an educational thing,” Hotz said of the report. “Troopers have been shot by members of groups, so it’s our job to let law enforcement officers know what the trends are in the modern militia movement.”
Why, that sounds fantastically reasonable, doesn’t it? But then why, pray tell, is it still verboten to as much as suggest that maybe airport screeners, just to name one group, should keep an extra wary eye on middle-aged Middle Eastern males when publically available trend data on terrorists state emphatically that 99.9999999% of terrorist attacks have been committed by, well, middle-aged Middle Eastern males. Not to mention that “white militiamen” still have quite a bit of catching up to do if they’re to get close to the 13,000 terrorist attacks committed by Those Who Must Not Be Profiled. So far.
The report’s most controversial passage states that militia “most commonly associate with third-party political groups” and support presidential candidates such as Ron Paul, former Constitutional Party candidate Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate last year.
Hotz said using those or similar factors to determine whether someone could be a terrorist is not profiling.
But noting that almost all actual terrorist attacks have been committed by muslim males of Middle Eastern descent IS. Gotcha. How he can let out that kind of blathering bromides without his lips falling off is beyond us.
He said people who display signs or bumper stickers from such groups are not in danger of harassment from police.
Why of course not. You’re just gathering this data to… to… to keep yourselves from getting bored, that’s why. Kinda like collecting postage stamps. Maybe you should find a different job that can keep you busy?
“It’s giving the makeup of militia members and their political beliefs,” Hotz said of the report. “It’s not saying that everybody who supports these candidates is involved in a militia. It’s not even saying that all militias are bad.”
But as much as hinting at the nationality and beliefs of the 9/11 murderers IS the same as saying that all muslims are bad.
By the way, remind us again what this “militia threat” is all about? Surely it must be a vast problem with enormous national security implications for you to go ahead and do to them what you can’t, won’t do to a sharply defined ethnic group so far responsible for tens of thousands of dead, all in the name of their “religion.”
Not everybody agrees. At a “Tea Party” to protest wasteful government spending Thursday in Flat Branch Park, several people displaying the Revolutionary War-replica “Don’t Tread On Me” flag were upset to learn the MIAC report lists the banner as a “militia symbol.”
“That’s insane,” said Doug Wendt looking at the MIAC document. “That is not a militia symbol. That is American history. This is historic. The only animosity” American colonists “ever directed with this was towards England.”
…and with the ascension of Lord Hussein al-Chicago to the throne, the powers that be are perhaps beginning to realize that he and they are beginning to behave in ways that would have made even King George hesitate. Not all that hard to figure out where the next step might be.
Just thinking out loud.
Neal, who has a Ron Paul bumper sticker on his car, said the next time he is pulled over by a police officer, he won’t know whether it’s because he was speeding or because of his political views.
“If a police officer is pulling me over with my family in the car and he sees a bumper sticker on my vehicle that has been specifically identified as one that an extremist would have in their vehicle, the guy is probably going to be pretty apprehensive and not thinking in a rational manner,” Neal said. “And this guy’s walking up to my vehicle with a gun.”
Correct. Then again, maybe you’re not giving our brothers in blue enough credit. It’s equally possible that he’s going to walk up to your car thinking “thank G-d, this guy isn’t a member of the insane clown posse currently fouling up DC. This guy’s more like me.”
Either way, it’s disgusting and wholly un-American.
But, then again, Jugears hasn’t yet proven that he is one.

Well, if “Don’t Tread on Me’” is a militia symbol, the entire U.S. Navy must be a militia. Every ship displays that flag on the forepeak.
Of course, the U.S. Military is anathema to the Democrat Party (except when the various Congrestitiutes need a lift to some foreign vacation spot for their ‘fact finding missions)
Well, here we go… As I have said before, if these communist bastards try to use National Guard units to fuck with these people, I will have no part of it. Luckily for me, my unit is an engineering/ construction unit, so we won’t be the first ones to get called up. Still, the implications of this bullshit are frightening to contemplate. And fuckin Ron Paul stickers as “identifiers”? WTF? The man was a legitimate candidate, imperfect as he may be… Political pluralism is verboten now, huh, you fucking jugeared failed abortion?
You know, there are many cars owned by Officers and Enlisted, just around here, that have these stickers, as well as “I love capitalism” or some other pro-liberty stuff… So, we are all suspects? Great! Komrade Jugmeister al-Hussein ibn Stalin needs to pull his pointy stupid little head out of his ass.
I am so disgusted by this. And, since I am a contrarian asshole, as soon as I buy my new ride, come May or June, I am putting a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag on it. As well as “I love capitalism” across the back window. Come and fucking get me, 0-zombies! Oh, and just for the hell of it, a Ron Paul sticker will go on, too. Bring it, bitches!
Well the big brother bastards are going to have a fucking fit when they read my new blog…even the title should raise eybrows, and you know what…I want it to.

Fuck’em …Just Fuck’ em all.
Oh lovely, this shit’s starting again just like during the rapist-in-chief’s reign.
Geraldo is probably salivating at the chance to revive his in the dumper career with more of his idiotic “fear the militias” fear mongering.
Meanwhile, anyone who actually is a threat knows to keep a low profile while the Barney Fifes are running around spying on and harassing those who don’t worship at jugears’s feet properly.
This just tells me that jugears and his flock really want to “change” America into a third world toilet like Zimbabwe.
i never put bumperstckers on my vehicals for just this reason.
though i was tempted by one that read;
“While I do not agree with your bumpersticker, I will defend to the death your right to take it and stick it”
Oh, ordinarily I would not put anything on my car. But now that the commies are getting their skid-marked granny-bloomers in a bunch over certain things, I will do it, just to egg the little bitches on. I am NOT afraid of them. They can suck dick and choke. And if there be stupid Kapos among the cops to go along with this outrageous bullshit, I am not afraid of them, either. They can go fuck themselves. There are still plenty of good cops out there who will see this shit exactly for what it is. At least it is so where I normally live.
i love Day-by-Day.

Alright, so the Gadsden and Navy Jack mean I’m in a militia, right?
Well hell… I guess I better find a place to start flying my Navy Jack then so everyone knows I am in a militia.
Also, I already know what the general consensus on the CBS (Confederate Battle Standard, not the network), but what is their take on the Jolly Roger? Is the Jolly Roger considered a scary militia flag that I should start flying also?
I think I’ll leave my ‘Obama ‘hearts’ Marxism sticker on my rear window a while longer. I’ve had more people here in the soon to be abandoned, People’s Republic of Madison, Wisconsin praise me for my stand
Of course the University’s Collective Politburo have differing positions to which I proudly salute them with the American Eagle.
I agree with almost nothing Ron Paul ever said, but I’ve never seen any indication that Ron Paul or his Paulbots want to overthrow the government.
I own Common Sense, the Constitution, AND the Declaration-what does that make ME?
p.s., Having read CommonSense, I am amazed that a man who dropped out of school at 13 can make so much more sense than our college educated elected representatives
Subversive literature, huh? Meaning exactly what? Like the Constitution? Guilty.
Common Sense by Thomas Pain? Guilty. The Federalist Papers? Guilty.
That Every Man Be Armed, by Halbrook? Guilty. <The Politically Incorrect
Guide to Islamby Robert Spencer? Guilty. Original Intent, The Courts,
the Constitution, and Religion by David Barton? Guilty. Not to mention the collection
of Bibles, the Nag Hammadi, the Dead Sea Scrolls, works on Mythology, and Folklore.
Gee, I must be a Subversive Militiaman. A Libertarian Radical. An Anarchist. A religious nut.
To make it all worse I own *gasp those terrible, awful things; you know, GUNS !!
Quick !!! Call the FBI, inform Homeland security !!
Does the President Know? What does he know? When did he know it? Does he know anything?
If they want to consider the Gadsden Flag subversive I wonder how they might feel about this?

“p.s., Having read Common Sense, I am amazed that a man who dropped out of school at 13 can make so much more sense than our college educated elected representatives”
I’m not. Not one bit, considering what our so institutions of so called ‘higher learning’ are dis(in)seminating for the last fifty years.
Look, folks, the jig is up (!), these bastards are serious and they think they’re in charge. No use pretending that something or someone else is going to “do something” about it. We can wait around, bitching and moaning, hoping it’ll all just go away, while the enemy consolidates his power… or we can face facts and get on with it.
This little “militia identifiers” bullshit these assholes came up with is but a new game, for me. I am going to fuck with them, by using all those “identifiers”. Ridicule is something these fucking KAPO motherfuckers cannot handle. Fuck them. They pissed off the Russians, so Russians will never share with them the proper ways to run a GULAG properly. So, 0-Buttfuck and his ass lickers will always remain nothing but ebanniye shesterki.
Hee, hee.

Little bit about the Gadsden flag. Columbia has a bit of reputation for its journalism school, and has more than its share of liberal weenies. Fortunately, there are good folks there, notably brother Phil. I’ve never had any trouble with the Gadsden on my little truck.

“to help police identify militia members or domestic terrorists.”
Why the juxtaposition? Maybe I’m ignorant about militia, but aren’t most militias good things? And why aren’t they referring to THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8_82YGXJe0
““most commonly associate with third-party political groups” and support presidential candidates such as Ron Paul, former Constitutional Party candidate Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate last year”
What. the. fuck. The Constitution Party? Are you serious? I have seriously considered that one; the only thing I disagreed with that I was aware of was the War on Drugs. And Ron Paul? The guy who just wanted to end the war, just like Obama? The libertarian guy? I…holy shit – this is no accident; they’re targeting conservative gun owners directly FOR THEIR POLITICAL BELIEFS. Shouldn’t this scare people?
““It’s giving the makeup of militia members and their political beliefs,” Hotz said of the report.”
Um, EXACTLY. Isn’t that what’s horrifying about it? And you only listed one very specific SIDE of the political spectrum to target…WHAT?
“It’s not even saying that all militias are bad.”
Why would you think to say that anyway??!!
“There are still plenty of good cops out there who will see this shit exactly for what it is. At least it is so where I normally live.”
You have it good then. Here they aren’t used to dealing with people who have guns, or want to have guns, or have different political beliefs. They’re the ones with the guns. They can’t comprehend why someone wouldn’t willingly let child services into their house on demand, or in fact let any agents into their house on a whim. Why anyone would not like knocks on the door. In fact, a police force in one town where I used to live was so known for corruption that it was on a weekly national news show, and had a disbarred lawyer who represented them not only professionally but also personally in grifting scams that netted some of them personal fortunes at the expense of the heirs. Unfortunately I know that one all too closely and all the lawyers around here were willing to tell you that for free – when an expensive lawyer tells you that for free…yeah. I don’t put bumper stickers on my car or signs on my lawn. Actually if it were financially possible I’d be gone from this state now that the kids are grown – we stayed for the free homeschool laws. Maybe I should not even say this stuff. It’s getting creepy as hell.
hmmmmmm……..
wonder if CAIR fits their definition……
hmmmmmm………
Damn! Gahaza that was spot on, I thik it will scale up just right for one of those old German license plates from the 60’s. Have to see if I can make a plate for the old Benz out of it and put it on the front of the car. Can’t wait to see the expression on anyone that actually reads it. Heh!
Hmmm….
“Rush is RIGHT” sticker– Check.
“Don’t Tread on Me” sticker– Check.
“SARAH!” sticker– Check.
Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged” book in the front seat– Check.
“NRA Lifetime Member” sticker– Check.
“ObaMAO” sticker– Check.
“3 Nails, 1 Life, 4given” sticker– Check.
Crucifix hanging from rear-view mirror– Check.
Looks like I have to run down to the local “oddities” shoppe and get a Ron Paul sticker, to complete the look. May have to do it when they aren’t burning “incense” though….

Heh. I was standing right next to Doug and the guy holding the flag during that interview. I used to work with Doug … at said University.
He’s moved on to work for … let’s just say a place I’m sure many here have shopped
Me, I still keep my head down at the University. One reason my blog is anonymous. If I worked at a more conservative-friendly …er… “company”… I’d be more open about it.
I took lots of pictures at the rally. It was really nice to see such a big turnout on a cold Thursday evening in a liberal college town. The pictures are at the link provided by Sleeper
Incidentally, I just ordered 50 “Pocket Constitutions” last week as well. Doug had one he got while in the Air Force on him at the rally.
“Subversive literature” indeed.
Wait, isn’t a “well-regulated militia” mentioned in the Constitution… As a Good Thing™? Oh, never mind! Constitution is probably one of those verboten books, now. I wonder if my collection of Ayn Rand’s fiction and non-fiction qualifies me as “Vrag Naroda”?
Still… I’ll find it highly humiliating being sent to the GULAG by an effeminate little sissy like 0-buttfuck. I mean, come on! My birth-country had Stalin. He had presence, grand scale and in-your-face brutality. This little punk… Not so much. They just don’t make tyrants like they used to. Even as a bad guy, 0 falls short. He is a loser on all counts.
I mentioned that to the reporter.
He did seem sympathetic. And actually, so does his article.

Wait for it … wait … for … it …
Screenshots of the alleged MIAC report can be found here:
http://wethearmed.com/index.php/topic,3033.0.html
…And it’s one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read. The document starts out analyzing what it calls the “rise of the militia movement” starting with such things as the fallout from the Vietnam War, the economic turmoil of the 1970s and ’80s, and the rise of “feminism and minority empowerment causing a blow to white male’s (sic) sense of empowerment”…which according to the MIAC report led to a radicalized backlash on the part of those same “white male’s” (again, sic) fueled in part by Soldier of Fortune magazine, Rambo movies and Tom Clancy novels.
I shit you not. And it just gets better – for certain values of “better” – from there. Actually, it sounds like some of the hysterical nonsense spouted by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which seemingly views just about every conservative, libertarian and pro-gun organization out there as “extremist,” and I wonder if most of the underlying “intelligence” in the MIAC document didn’t come from SPLC propaganda and “action alerts.”
I find it interesting, as a Missouri resident, that the release of this report was apparently one of the first acts of our new Democrat governor Jay Nixon. I seriously doubt that our former Republican Governor, Matt Blunt, who was very much a supporter of gun rights, would have knowingly let something like this be published on his watch.
LC Wes:
If Jay Nixon’s fingerprints are all over this, I find it so ironic. Don’t forget, during Nixon’s first term as Attorney General, he actively lobbied for the end of court-ordered school desegregation in St. Louis. In that, he was the only Missouri politician of major statewide consequence ever to do something about deseg in a right-wing way. Thereby making Jay Nixon the same “right-wing racist” that this report complains about. In fact, the St. Louis NAACP called him “America’s foremost school segregationist” after he came out against deseg. He rode those fumes to re-election as AG in 1996, 2000 and 2004, and winning Governor in 2008.
Be that as it may, I could cringe about all this, but then I wake up and realize that I live in Illinois, moving to Carbondale in January from my native St. Louis for a new job. Missouri looks really good from here.
And yes, 99.9% of this report is utter, out-of-date bullshit. They could have spelled “Martial” (i.e. Martial Law) correctly. I could rebut this, but WordPress only has so much disk space
I’m a cop, and I exhibit many of those “indicators”. There’s a Ron Paul sticker on one of my vehicles, there’s a Gadsden flag flying on my front porch, and I’m an unabashed libertarian.
The Inestimable Princess Natasha (sorry, my Dear, but I’m Rottie Old School) says:
“Still… I’ll find it highly humiliating being sent to the GULAG by an effeminate little sissy like 0-buttfuck.”
Absolutely. Are you all going into that bleak socialist night(mare) because the Metrosexual-unMagicalObangutan sez so?
Pleeeaaaazzze! Say it ain’t so! What’s he gonna do? Call out the Nat’l Guard?
We. Fucking. Outnumber. Them.
In the tens of millions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And, THANKS TO GUN OWNERS AND OTHER CONSTITUTIONALLY GROUNDED AMERICANS, WE STILL HAVE THE MEANS TO RESIST!!!
The question is……………
DO WE HAVE THE WILL???????
I am so fucking tired of running scared.

This is going to be fun. Holy shit.
While I have to admit to cracking a smile over this one, I’m afraid that it isn’t true. To orchestrate the kind of consolidation of power that is occurring right now and sell it to people, even those drooling fity-tooers with the Orwellian newspeak that is the hallmark of this administration takes planning, coordination, and a criminal resolve to completely obliterate a nation of free men in favor of enslaving each and every one with ‘equality’. And when the day of reckoning comes, and it will come, these people will have you believe that they acted to “make the country fullfill its promises”, and it was a failure of execution, and not of intention.
I saw a Kia with an Obama stick on the back window and a Jolly Roger on the bumper this morning. Seemed to me to be about right. A gang of cut throats with no regard for the law or general rules of conduct, Hell-bent on taking what they did not earn.
That about Heinlein is probably way too close to true. When I was working for a hotel back in the ’80s, there was some hype about ‘Satanic Cults’ going on, and the Police had a workshop about identifying possible members, which they held in one of our conference rooms. While setting up, I had a chance to look over the items they had on display. One of them was Stranger in a Strange Land. I nearly fell over laughing. Can anyone who has read that book actually imagine someone who understands even a quarter of it to be part of a Satanic Cult? Sheesh.
I can only imagine what they would think of that, as well as some of his others, although, by ignoring many of the subtexts, I can see many of Heinlein’s works being solidly embraced by the “Do what you want” crowd.
Beyond all of this, I hope that nobody here really over-analyzes this thing. I think all it is is an effort on the part of a government agency responsible for precluding terrorist activities to pretend that they’re keeping an eye out of some white people. In order not to appear racist and to keep the CAIR dogs at bay, with the “Flying Imams” scandal, they can and will sue.
Besides, it’s a good strategy for them, if I’m right. You can bash right-wing militias all you want with no consequences. Which right-wing militia is going to sue? It’s like slandering a dodo bird, no dodo birds around to sue you.
i finally got a chance to go look at the MIAC report and found it was produced in Missouri. remember who gave us the “Obama Truth Squads” ? the people who went around threatening anyone who told the truth about Mr. Obama.
funny thing though, as much as i oppose the current attack on America most of the groups they site as dangerous would find me too dark for membership. not that i could stand them either.
LC hilljohnny:
I remember the truth squads; when it was announced, my resident jurisdiction’s prosecutor at the time I was living in St. Louis City was in on it. They said that they were going to “take action” against anyone who was telling lies about Obama. When prosecutors and sheriffs get together and say they’re going to “take action” against a meth lab, they don’t mean they’re going to picket the house, or write a letter to the editor of the newspaper, they mean they’re going to make arrest and draw criminal charges. So they definitely implied that much, in spite of leftist excuses that they really didn’t mean that they were going to arrest Obama critics. I found out that the prosecutors and sheriffs who were in on this could have been prosecuted using a 1985 Federal law called the “Klan act” that prohibited two or more people from conspiring to intimidate people from exercising their civil liberties. However, the U.S. Attorney in St. Louis, Catherine Hanaway, did nothing, because she read the tea leaves and saw Obama’s victory a’comin, and that combined with most of her tenure as U.S. Attorney indicated to me that she was sucking up to Democrat constituencies in the futile hope that the next Democrat President wouldn’t fire her.
But that’s going to happen. Obama wants her gone, and the news came out that the man he wanted to replace her with didn’t want the job. His name? Bob McCulloch, St. Louis County Circuit Attorney, himself one of the “truth squaders.”
I can’t wait for the next Teaparty. You can bet MIAC will be there recording our signs, license numbers, and faces. Grok Freedom.
Open note to any and all Dallas-area Rotties …
April 15, 2009 (tax day) at Dallas city hall – there will be a tea party. A good friend of mine from law school is one of the organizers, and he’d like to see if we can get over 1000 in attendance. If you are able to attend, I would sincerely request and highly recommend that you do!
