I swear, if we on the right were as good at fighting the Prozis as we are at fighting each other…
So, on one side of the ring, we have Sarah Hoyt whom we respect and admire greatly, and not just because she’s a fellow Euro-refugee, but even more so because she’s an absolutely fantastic writer (and author too!) and a nice, calm, yet ruthlessly strategic influence.
On the other, we have a bunch of equally talented, but more rowdy, sick and tired, angry and just ready to kick down thinkers. And ourself, because that’s where we mostly belong because by G-D we’re pissed off and we’re not going to take it anymore. That’s His Imperial Majesty’s camp, but he has a foot in the other as well.
Not because we can’t make our mind up, but because we know that sometimes we can all be right without agreeing on the particulars. But make no mistake, we’re not kidding when we say that “we’re done.” Maybe it’s just a matter of what we’re done with.
And now that we’ve confused everybody, what’s this infighting all about? Glad you asked. It started with this post of Sarah’s in which she took a well-deserved dump on Weepy Boner and the Quisling Party for their sellout on Princess Precious Obama’s Executive Amnesty. And then went on to state that maybe it wasn’t the end of the world. Big mistake.
Now, for the record, we believe very much that she was a bit on the optimistic side (you know about our predilection for British Understatements, don’t you? If not, or if you’re new, that was one) regarding what this all meant, but boy did it trigger a shitstorm from His Imperial Majesty’s camp. All of it accompanied by really good analysis as to exactly why it was, to apply British Understatement Technology again, quite a bit polly-annaish to find any sort of bright light at the end of the tunnel in that unqualified, unconditional Quisling Party surrender.
Because there isn’t one. It would take too long to link to every response, but thankfully our friends at Dethguild have done the work for us here.

Now, if you’ve read all of that… You deserve a merit badge. But you really should, because it’s all good, from both sides.

A recent survey by the Oklahoma State University Department of Agricultural Economics finds that over 80 percent of Americans support “mandatory labels on foods containing DNA,” about the same number as support mandatory labeling of GMO foods “produced with genetic engineering.”
So… 80% of Americans support warning labels on 99.9% of all food products because DNA [cue scaaaaary music written specifically for vegetables. Bipedal vegetables, that is].
And yes, we do mean warning labels, as in:
WARNING: This product contains deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). The Surgeon General has determined that DNA is linked to a variety of diseases in both animals and humans. In some configurations, it is a risk factor for cancer and heart disease. Pregnant women are at very high risk of passing on DNA to their children.
The article then goes on to try to be nice about those 80% functional morons walking among us without supervision:
For many people, there is little benefit to understanding much about genetics or DNA. Most Americans can even go about their daily business perfectly well without knowing that the Earth revolves around the sun. Even the smartest people are inevitably ignorant of the vast majority of information out there. We all have to focus our time and energy on learning that information which is most likely to be instrumentally useful, or at least provide entertainment value. For large numbers of people, much basic political and scientific information doesn’t make the cut.
All of which is true. Of course, His Imperial Majesty would suggest that not including “what is DNA?” among things that sentient beings ought to know is setting the bar awfully low, unless we’re talking about pre-schoolers, but we’ll concede the point. Nobody should be required to know everything about everything in order to avoid the label “stupid.”
But what IS undeniably stupid no matter which way you spin it is to, when faced with a question about which you know nothing at all, not check off “I don’t know.”
Which explains a lot about our elections.

It’s not like they were fooling anybody, keeping their engagement secret. Except for “moderate” Republicans, of course, but those gullible gimps will be fooled by absolutely anybody.

So there we have it. No longer do we need to harbor any doubts (if we were stupid enough to harbor any in the first place) that Weepy Boner is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Prozi Party, and they’ll be thrice damned before they’ll let their orange sockpuppet go!
At least Nancy and Weepy won’t have to check in under false names at the local Motel 8 anymore.

President Barack Obama launched a rhetorical assault on guns in one of the most gun friendly states in the nation while speaking at a town hall event in Columbia, South Carolina, Friday.
That’s not all he’s been launching – but that’s a whole ‘nother argument.

Fixed it for you, no charge. Judging from North Charleston SC where I lived and worked (and carried oh yes I did, religiously ) for a miserable 11 months, I have to concede the point. Only because of the fact that – the library doesn’t deliver. Hood rat’s do… and Shanaynay ain’t about to be bothered to go to the library. “No-one got time for dat yo!” I guess there’s that little complex up there on I-26 – covers something like 60,000 sq feet that might give the hoodlums a run for their money when it comes to which is “easier” to get – a gun or a book. It’s called Amazon and they do deliver.
On the fresh veggie point – same thing sadly he might be right there, I don’t think Amazon delivers those…yet, give them time. Oh you can go down to the corner, (assuming of course the corner joint hasn’t been recently robbed and the po-po aren’t swarming…. by the same ‘disadvantaged yut’ that just got out of the clink for robbing the place 3 weeks ago)…and get yourself a 40 and some papers to roll your next blunt. Oh, and some Cheetos on your EBT card, sho nuff’ but veggies, that you’d actually have to get off your dead ass and go to the grocery store for. Or, Oh heaven forbid – plant them yourself and enjoy the fruits of your labors….the mind boggles at such “out of the box thinking”.
On the other hand, What is it with ignorant liberal democrats that send this fool out into public and can’t even get his damn speech verbiage right? It’s a magazine. For the millionth and tenth damn time…M-A-G-A-Z-I-N-E… Not a “clip”. A “clip” holds your hair – Which I’ve heard from some G.L.O.R types around here ….are generally pretty damn useful after a ladies night in the Imperial Dungeon drinking bottom shelf rot gut. As a handgun accessory – not so much.
